Ok. I've been following al the rules, waiting 4 hours online. posting useless posts to get post count up to 5. But still nothing! WTF. Is anyone actually working to fix this? If I can't get to post in the next day, I'll leave this place permanently at the loss to the Bitcoin community. I have many important posts regarding ASIC HW, that you will miss out on...

I'm sorry to have to say that this anti-spam method is both lame and counter productive. Sad

Totally agree with you. I created 5 posts. Now what should I do? Simply wait 4 hours online?

There are a couple of things that seem to slow my speed down from +-300 Mhash/s to only 300 Khash/s.
The decrease is usually when i get the messages:

 "long poll: new block...."
and

ADL_Adapter_ID_Get failed, cutoff temperature disabled for 0:0:Pitcairn

I don't know why my speed drops after a new block has been found but it does, and when I stop/start for a sec it will be back to normal.
I don't even begin to grasp what the whole ADL Adapter thingy might mean. Can it be my PSU isn't sufficient anough?

Due to a mass of trolling, only established posters are able to post in non-newbie sections. You are considered "established" if you have spent 4 hours online and have made 5 posts (new topics or replies).

If you have really good posts, you can post a request for preemptive whitelisting in the appropriate topic.

Also:
- Newbies cannot upload their own avatars.
- You must have made one post in order to send PMs.
- You need 10 posts to put a link in your signature.

Note that it may take up to 10 minutes for your PM or posting permissions to be granted. (The system automatically checks every 10 minutes and promotes people as appropriate.)

I realized how many noobs there are due to the recent media attention.

How is the "Total Time Logged in" calculated... because my account has been logged in for More than an hour :/

The instructions say 4 hours of logged in time.

Kind of long, but when in Rome...

Yes, I know what the instructions say... >_<

Then, I don't understand your post.

It seemed like a question. It seemed to ask why you can't post yet.

If you know the instructions then your post doesn't make sense.

Pardon me for trying to help!

Good luck!

My Question was, how is it calculated, cause I've been logged in for much longer than what it says!

I've been lurking on forum for months yet when I needed to PM I realized that having an account is not enough.
Too bad I was not lurking on a newbie board...

Took me a few minutes to figure out what I had to do.

Now I understand how to get privileges on this board. Pays to follow directions.
