These restrictions were not made clear to me when I registered, so I spent about 10 frustrated minutes trying to figure out how to post...

Thankfully a guy on the sealswithclubs chat helped me out, but come on! Can't we be more clear about this with an email or message?

Yes, me too! Maybe the forum owner could fix it so there is a big notice where the post reply and edit buttons normally are, so that we can see straight away what the restriction is. Just my two cents...

So that works? Posting in here. I've been lurking for a while now and wanted to contribute :-(

Oh well, let me have a look to see if there is something I respond to...

Woot Cheesy

It's a bit annoying to have to sit out a 'probation', but understandable.   Undecided

its 4 hours and 5 posts right??!!

Does this mean posting is automatic or a manual review when the requirements have been met?

I think this is a sensible decision. Its OK to make things more difficult if it keeps the bad people away.
Thanks.

It is easier to make 40 posts than 4h because I am since 2-3 h online and looking around but I have only 38'.
I think you have to click on something every minute otherwise the clock doesn't move forward.
True. I just realized that, too -.-

Do the posts have to be within the newbie section or can they be anywhere?
