Ahh makes sense. I had browsed through the help section and was thinking that my browser or something was blocking those buttons that should've been appearing if I was registered. But, alas, I am 'le newb.

I think the newbie restrictions are quite a good idea as they do mean bots have to be a lot more intelligent if they're going to bypass the rules :-)

This sub-forum was too far down in the forum list IMO.  I've spent the last 20 minutes curious why I couldn't post and was about to abandon it.  Was looking in the help link at the top for posting restrictions, etc. and this section just barely caught my eye.  Of course I may be slightly mental.  Shocked
