Very good news. This could really get the ball rolling for NEP5 coins which have a great potential (just look at ERC20) and having the integration with ERC20 protocol is the first thing that occurred in my mind, only to note they already thought about that
A solid project with great developers and serious backing, I mean... what can go wrong? I am planning to participate in the ICO and buy at least 5000 NEX tokens.
By the way.. there won't be a private/pre-sale and all (50% available for token sale) of the tokens will be sold during a public ICO.

Neo has been hailed as the ETH of China. Many people are actually saying that the technology, in many ways, is superior to ethereum as it allows for the interfacing of other computer languages. The marketplace is vast in China and in an environment that is ready for the change, we could see 10x in the not too distant future
Interesting project this NEO based decentralized token exchange, but still no ICO date published.
I still visited their website today, no information on when the ICO is going to take place, I just hope that the token won't sell off during the private sale and let small investors too benefited
I have been reading all the pages of this thread and have the following questions:
1) Why didn't anyone answer the multiple questions as to what NEX really is in layman's terms?
2) What are the advantages of a decentralised exchange vs a centralised one, apart from lower trading fees and commissions?
3) Finally, why an ICO/coin is needed as it is my understanding that coming from NEO guys, they already have the funding?

The answer to the third question, why the heck NOT have a coin when you have a great idea and concept, just look at the sucess of binance coin and
kucoin so its spelled; opportunity.

it is promising project. i hope it does not get over priced in the ico process.
I am very positive about the projects that are being created on the basis of the NEO platform, it's very nice to see that the platform is developing and the prices for it are going to develop in spite of the fact that China wants to prohibit crypto-currencies, but this does not prevent people from developing the project as we see it

So basicly, this is like Etherdelta right? But for NEO platform. I just went to NEX site, and they said token sale is coming soon. Anyone here know their telegram group? I just want to know their recent updates.
This is must watch project,i will definitely support this coin from ICO to exchanges hope that this NEO based coin will make difference.

There is no official telegram group but i was only know about the majority of the investors and the team is discussing all about the neon project in the reddit. But this looks become another big thing again from neo. The only that thing makes me interested with neon caused by as the token holders and you can claim the fees that will have generated from the transaction in the platform.

Neo Platform will surpass ETH platform.. but in my opinion NEO needs to accept investor using their identity. it shows that the management is legalizing the KYC RULES. i hope the future project will recognize.

They say that this will be a very cool project, especially since it is based on the NEO platform, this gives a big advantage to the project, because the NEO platform is not yet quite popular, but I think that in the future it will be so. If everything that they offer they can realize, then it will be an excellent project
One of the negatives about NEX is that they don’t have a basic prototype of product available for investors to take a look at – while many aspects of NEX make this an extremely appealing ICO, the lack of a prototype will damage its rating heavily. In an increasingly competitive space, several other projects such as Spectre and Leverj have shown their ability to create basic proof of concepts and MVP’s, making NEX ultimately lose out due to their lacking in this area.
There isnt still a ICO date, so maybe there will be a demo or something like that. And if u are honest, how many ICOs have a working product?
