at least it should continue to be adopted so that there will be a real use of crypto in many sectors, after all the digital era has grown and i'm sure with regulations made by the government, the use of crypto can be done more broadly for its use in the payment system and other transactions

If seen from history it is true that bullrun will occur after 1 year of bitcoin halving, but this is still the beginning of the year and almost everyone hopes that cryptocurrency will experience bullrun this year.

I'm also curious, but what might be made? ico, airdrop, sto, ieo already exist and all of them are successful, although some have failed. maybe what needs to be considered is how crypto can become a digital asset that has a function in the real world, such as buying goods and other needs.

It looks like 2020 will be crypto's biggest year yet, with many exciting events like Bitcoin's halving event and government-issued digital currencies taking place within the mainstream world. Many people are waiting for crypto to rise towards astronomical levels in price like it happened back in 2017. If these developments aim to increase adoption of Blockchain technology within the mainstream world, then you could expect popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum rise towards new ATHs in price. As far as Facebook goes, we'll see whenever it'll be able to successfully launch its Libra digital currency or not. Even if people don't get to use Libra, regular stablecoins like Binance USD and Tether will continue to grow in adoption worldwide.

Regulation is necessary for crypto to grow within the mainstream world. For the next big thing to happen, governments must first legally recognize crypto as legal tender within the mainstream world. Only then, average people will find it comfortable to use crypto for their own benefit. Speaking of mimblewimble, I think that it's a game changer for both cryptocurrencies (Litecoin and Bitcoin) which will lead to increased mainstream adoption within a couple of years from now. I haven't heard about devs proposing this feature to the Bitcoin blockchain yet. But Litecoin has already mentioned the possibility of activating it sometime in the future.

Nonetheless, while the previously mentioned events may be the "next big thing" for crypto, it's not a guarantee that prices will rise across the crypto market. Only demand from people in the mainstream world would allow a cryptocurrency project succeed for the foreseeable future. Since Bitcoin and most leading cryptocurrencies are still largely supported by people in the mainstream world, they'll be here to stay for a very long time. Just my opinion

how about "AI miner" ? the working program like this, hardware will doing math calculation of solving block, each block machine can learning the easy way to solve block, maybe with this system, we can have bigger hashrate just by running the Ai miner.

Bitcoin Halving It will indeed happen this year, but Yeah I agree with you the positive effects of that event will occur a year after it happened, in 2021. I see it like Halving in 2016 where a year after that (2017) the Crypto market became Bullrun. This year I think there is no big thing in Crypto except Halving Bitcoin only.

I don't think that there will be anything big in the world of cryptocurrency, in the near future. Bitcoin has been in existence for more than 11 years now. Till now, none of the new coins have managed to topple Bitcoin as the most popular cryptocurrency. Many of the new coins are technologically superior to Bitcoin. Bit the users are sticking to the original cryptocurrency.

It seems to me that everyone is overestimating the importance of having this year. Bitcoin halving is a very significant event, but most likely I think that the expectation that halving will change the situation in the cryptocurrency market will be in vain. maybe we can see some kind of positive effect of this event only in 2021.

The mother of all the big events this year is the halving of bitcoin later in the year the upgrading of ethereum wouldn't have much impact like halving of bitcoin which I believed would triggers a massive pump in other altcoins ethereum inclusive.

That article is about the implementation of mimble wimble and as far as I know mimble wimble can be also implemented into the bitcoin as it fits litecoin chain. Some people have already expected if the litecoin supporters are also interesting to put this as off-chain development for bitcoin.

I'm also waiting for a new surprise this year, hopefully a lot of good news this year about cryptocurrency. in 2017 was a frightening spectacle of the rising price of Bitcoin and other cryptos, but it seemed like it was just a bubble and had gotten to its lowest point. in the same year, many of them got profits and losses, this is the world of crypto. I've heard that in 2020 there will be an increase in the price of bitcoin, hopefully it will really happen and hopefully it will have a good impact on other altcoins that are currently still very bad.

Have you taken the time to check the Bitcoin low prices starting from the start till now? The huge increase you saw in 2017 was just a bubble and the price is now back to balanced.
