We will be hosting a Nexus Google Hangout tomorrow at 6:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) / 3:00PM Pacific Standard Time (PST) to discuss some exciting developments with Nexus and the progress and direction of the Project.  These include a new business partnership as well as a planned rebrand.  Everyone is welcome to join.  This will also be a Question and Answer Session, so feel free to bring along some questions and join in on the discussion.  We will post the link to the hangout prior to the start and will post in multiple locations.

Today was a bloodbath in the altcoin world. Fortunately Nexus didn't take too much of a hit due to strong buy support but the price did drop some.  I would connect this directly to the sudden bitcoin rise in price. It is better that bitcoin halving happens before a major rise in price. I would hate to see us at 30 million marketcap and loose 30% in one day.

You can look at the markets and see that the only coins which held up to the rise and some rose themselves are the well established old "novelty" coins like Litecoin and DOGE. Neither has nearly the amount of development that Nexus has but Nexus, like other notable coins that dropped in price, has a market still connected to investors who are a bit shaky when bitcoin rises or drops in price. This will change in time. We are building a strong community foundation.

The good news is it seems the rise in bitcoins price was incremental compared to a massive one time spike. This is good for altcoins in the long term even if it reflects bad in the short.

I am staking my wallet and enjoying my trust payments while getting some more cheap coins from the weaker hands in the market. Nexus has so much innovation and the community has grown a lot recently. If you would like to be added to our SLACK development channel let us know. It is open to the public.
