Interesting http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36575947   "At its peak, the computer can perform around 93,000 trillion calculations per second".

This is why it is important that Colin is integrating encryption more advanced than any other cryptocurrency out there. This is getting close but not quite there yet to be able to crack 256 encryption. I am glad my Keys for Nexus are 571 bit :-)

Better safe than sorry Smiley
There is not enough caution in Crypto, just look at DAO comedy...

Agreed, glad Colin is taking his time and making sure our network is rock solid from all angles.

Sure I'll post some updates to the address manager in the newest update. So far have the base LLD templates done and working great, the load time is reduced to < 1 minute compared to 15 minutes using berklee DB on my currenct computer. Working on new website that should be up in a few days, article coming out on bitcoin.com next week most likely, marketing some fb ads soon as well.

Trust update coming as testnet first by next week, mac wallet done you can check github if you would like to compile yourself, running some python scripts to create the *.dmg.
GUI updates coming as well with another dev who has decided to help in the project, finalized the architecture of nexus and 13 spheres that create it, new logo, trade symbol update to NXS in the coming month or so (depending on funds).

Will keep everyone posted on further developments, also don't hesitate to make suggestions. On new site I will make a NXI section for Nexus Improvements and Suggestions. Let me know if there is anything else you need.

And Pineapples, worry not, I'm checking into your issue further now. I apologize for my absence on this thread, been quite busy. I hope you all understand Smiley

Thank You,
Viz.

This is good news.  Is it possible to participate in the test-net by running a -testnet flag on the QT?

I like Nexus but I sold 100% at around 4k when I realized it was one guy pumping the market mostly. I bought back 30% at around 2.3k which in retrospect looks like a mistake.

That one guy bought mostly below 1000 satoshi and his name is Kierre. Colin (lead DEV) knows him personally and he truly believes in the project and is holding it for a long position for a half dozen people. If you divide that 3.5 up between the people they all have a 500K position in it. He is a real world investor who invested other peoples money into Nexus. You know... like bringing money in from outside of crypto? I was concerned myself as member of the team so i approached Colin and found out the investor was a friend of Colins. I watched the list carefully for months and i witnessed quite a few 200K+ bittrex wallets distribute to smaller wallets and watched them grow. I know via our SLACK and FACEBOOK we have a lot of new investors. The only reason he hasn't pulled it from bittrex was because of his need for a MAC Wallet. That MAC wallet is almost done in testing so it will be released soon. As soon as it is released those coins will be removed for staking.

Not to mention here is top five in richlist NOT on bittrex which can be found in wallet in debug window with command: dumprichlist 500

All longing it.

Nexus only has to reach 2700 satoshi to reach its new high in USD value thanks to the increased value in bitcoin which had a huge role to play in drop in markets (We had investors come to slack and admit they dumped for bitcoin).

Take it or leave it... if you don't want to invest that is your prerogative.  The community is alive, it is well, and it is behind Nexus 100%.  Early investors deserve big rewards. Low market cap and cheap coin is what I always aim for... especially when you look at the project... the code... the vision. Its so dirt cheap i keep buying myself. I don't have millions but i have invested what i can afford to build a good position.  FUD is good. Criticism builds character and integrity. Bitcoin only died 1000 times to shine through the FUD. Its when you have a coin with no doubt that there is nothing to prove its worth. Nexus proves itself. Try it out. You will like what you see.

First time I hear of Nexus, it looks interesting indeed.

Yes, only few people know about this gem.
That is also promise of good potential gains.

When everybody knows about Nexus... it will be to late to make killer entry.

I am glad someone else has spotted it too.  Been happening for over a year now.  But one day it will pop/explode.........

Significant I would have to test for, but mathematically speaking the pool miner is oriented towards shares so solo miner will skip some of those k-tuples to find larger difficulty shares so in this perspective the solo miner should be a bit quicker.

I couldn't give you exact metrics, but IMO I would recommend a blend of the two if you have available resource to such.

Thank You,
Viz.

Alright thank you, is there a significant difference between running the poolminer or the solominer ?
