Really good video, helped explain some things and definitely a good intro into colin/nexus. I think the bigger overview is so important - not just a pump and dump scheme but actually building something worthwhile. I'm definitely excited for the whitepaper.

Excellent video... I have watched a lot of conversations with Colin, but none has made as much sense to me or been presented as simply as this one. I learned a great deal about the future plans and reasons behind Nexus being what it is today.
I am looking forward to the new releases in the near future. An updated wallet is really needed, and the whitepaper should help the crypto-world get a grasp of what is going on here. I have a feeling I am going to regret not buying more today when NXS briefly dipped along with the rest of the market.

btw when this coin hit poloniex? there was an huge talk about poloniex but there is nothing still, and it was many months ago, i need to know to invest in this, without poloniex, it's hard for the value to climb above 100k and beyond
I think they are already watching on the Nexus.
Maybe they want to see how much the price is stable and make sure it's not a big pump, followed by a dump.
In any case, we will see this.

btw when this coin hit poloniex? there was an huge talk about poloniex but there is nothing still, and it was many months ago, i need to know to invest in this, without poloniex, it's hard for the value to climb above 100k and beyond

Under existing hardware infrastructure, cryptocurrency is technically under the mercy of telecommunication and government technology industries. Coupled with both the development of software and hardware, Nexus seeks to free men from centralized financial institutions.
Is this even feasible? How would you bypass gov regulations and actually launch tech in space? Don't they have all the power to stop something like that if they felt it would threaten their businesses?
The only regulations with regard to items launched in space are the international agreements regarding frequency bands for communications to and from space and international agreements with regards to stuff coming back to Earth.
Beyond that it's as free as it gets. Anyone can launch a satellite these days. Over here. Middle schools do it.
I have a question unrelated to this: What's up with the mining? Is CPU mining still viable on say a 12 core E5? What are the latest CPU and GPU miners?
