What does it mean when the blocks skip in my miner output?  for example it will show:

1376831
1376833

Where did 1376832 go?

- pokeytex

One explanation can be that the solution of ..833 came right after ..832 and the pool or the miner wasn't fast enough to send or receive the notification packet for the new block. This can also happen when the wallet of the pool lags because time to time it's attacked by some nice peoples. In this case the wallet is so overloaded that it doesn't receives in time the new block notification from other nodes.

Second 10-chain was found 5 days ago, at height 1366553, and it's more dense than the first.

Looks like the release of the new miner has done great things for finding longer chains.

Congratulations again to Videlicet, Mumus, and the entire Nexus dev team and community.  Now that there have been two 10-chains found, I'll wait to post an update until 5, and then 10... and then when Nexus finds its first 11-chain.

This is wonderful!  Thanks for keeping us updated Smiley

What is a good Nexus mining system ?
Should i solo or pool ?
Which pool is best ?

it depend, with cpu you can mine in a pool, with gpu there are no pool, you need to mine in solo, if you don't know how to do, i can tell you it's easy, just need a config file in the roaming with rpcuser, rpcpassword, rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 and server=1

How can i get the wallet to sync faster
Download the blockchain for either of the two wallets you are using (either LLD or Oracle) from here: http://nexusearth.com/
And place it in %appdata%/Nexus (on Windows). This is not necessary with a strong CPU and an SSD.

why the client is so slow to strat? it take few minutes even with a 4790k overclocked, can you fix that? or when the next version is supposed to take place?

There are two wallets that use different databases, one loads faster the other one slower, but one of them can stake the other can't. I'm not sure which is which.
This issue will be addressed with the next wallet updates though - so it's a temporary inconvenience.

For people asking about mining performance and not getting answers you might be better off joining Nexus's Slack and visiting #mining channel.

where can i download the non staking one? i have now the staking one which is too slow for solo mining, but if there are at least ndoes that can make the sync faster i would need those

Could we use our GPU channel to help  Stanford's Folding@home project, and give them some nexus gpu unused power? #FoldingCoin
