NFL wild card round will be played by the following teams.

Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans
Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Buffalo Bills
Greenbay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys
Los Angeles Rams vs. Detroit Lions
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The teams I predict that will go to the division round are Texans, Chiefs, Bills, Cowboys, Lions and the Eagles.

If I am correct the divisional round might be played by these teams.

AFC
Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills

NFC
Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 49ers
Detroit Lions vs. Dallas Cowboys

Speaking of teams needing a win to make the playoffs, i've opted out for the Bucs ML. Panthers are just so bad man, can't see them play spoils at all. Odds are not attractive but this feels as close as free money as there is.

Bills moneyline is what i'm also looking at, probably hitting it if Panthers don't pull the upset of the year.

Anyways, gl everyone with your bets, last week of the regular season... Sad

That was a major blow for them as it prevents them for going any further into the post season.
Tough loss for the Colts to miss the playoffs because of that crucial pass, but at least we get to see the Texans potentially facing the Browns in the wildcard round. Cheesy

My ticket is ready for the Packers to win as they're one of the many teams still needing a win to secure a spot. I'm taking my chances against the Bears, even if they could potentially perform better and bring the Packers down with them.

Indianapolis managed to screw that up very bad on the last drive.
A wide open receiver and only about outside the 10+ yard line and he dropped the pass trying to turn and run before the ball was in possession.
That was a major blow for them as it prevents them for going any further into the post season.

Congrats to the Houston Texans with a solid performance and Nico Collins had over 174 yards the last time they flashed his statistics on the screen later in the final quarter.
C.J Stroud had outstanding performance and yes, we will have to remember he is still a rookie and going up against Puka Nacua for this years award:

For the later game with the Colts vs Texans which just started
Went the opposite side for this matchup from you and backing the Texans so this new QB can show he is ready to take them as far he can carry them.

edit: C.J Stroud just scored a 75 yard TD pass to Nico Collins

Yeah, that was some throw from Stroud on their opening drive, caught the Colts defense totally off guard.

Stroud and Puka Nacua are neck and neck in for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, both having outstanding seasons, i won't mind either winning.

Texans without Tank Dell, N. Brown, or R. Woods, it was obvious Nico was about to eat today, glad i took his props, dude is a stud.

Let's see if the Colts can make this a game in the second half, it's been all Texans thus far.

I forgot about the doubleheader today and only found out after seeing the Ravens vs. Steelers match went live.  Tongue The Steelers got their win as expected, even though it was a slow game due to the weather.

I got my bet on the Colts to win. Both teams would like to win for their playoff chances, and it made me think the odds should've been set the other way around, given the Colts have the home advantage in this division matchup.

Ravens didn't put either of their starters for this match as they are already grabbed the No.1 seed AFC North.
So from the way the game went, it didn't seem they cared about this matchup much.

For the later game with the Colts vs Texans which just started

A shame of all the injuries amassing for the remaining teams trying to make it into the playoff picture such as the Vikings. They are having a quarterback situation and been looking around for one as Cousins is still hurt and probably has reached that age of retirement in the offseason.

The next set of games are on Saturday between those Ravens and the Steelers along with the Texans and the Colts.
For the Houston Texans they were fortunate to have their star rookie quarterback C.J Stroud back in the lineup who destroyed the Tennessee Titans last Sunday on his return.

Closer the matches are I will be going with a Baltimore and Houston win this first weekend of the year.

@rdbase. Christian McCaffrey will be out for week 18 and according to some news articles, he has a minor calf injury. However, if this minor injury becomes bothersome, it would certainly affect his performance for the post season.

The expectations of the fans are the Ravens and the 49ers will reach the superbowl, however, if McCaffrey really has a more serious injury and Lamar is known not to perform as well as the regular season, we might witness other teams reach the superbowl. We cannot underestimate the Chiefs, the Cowboys and the Lions.

Ravens owned the game from the very start as the Fins didn't have any answer for them and just kept getting their key players injured including Tua by the end of it. Looked like he had a problem with his shoulder.

Alot of players are getting injured as I watched a bit of the 49er's match and McCaffrey had in issue with his calf at the end of one play.
Hopefully he got that touchdown for that betslip morv before he was sidelined.

All those chances for the Detroit to win it with a 2-pt convert because of those penalties against Dallas at the final play of the game.
That two-point play was wild. They had a few chances to opt for the tie when the flags came in and still went with it.  Tongue

I have my money on the Ravens to win since the first seed is on the line, and the Dolphins don't have a convincing road record against good teams.

Commanders are missing a bunch of starting safeties and corners on what's on paper the most lopsided matchup today.
Thanks for this info. I can comfortably add CMC ATTD in one of my multi.  Cheesy

I've got McCaffrey and Aiyuk to score a TD, but Deebo and Kittle are just as good picks, i think they all score honestly.

The 9ers need two wins to clinch the NFC and get a first-round bye. Tougher opponent next week against the Rams, but this should be a walk in the park.

Dallas is in poor form and hopefully the Lions can capitalize on this and come away with a win being 11-4 so far on the season.
Their recent losses came from road matches, so we'll see if that carries on for today's match.

Even though I would like to root for the Lions to win over the Cowboys, I can't go against the team with the perfect home record. I'm only betting on the Cowboys to win and cover the first-half handicap, as they're one of the teams that tend to score a few TDs or more before halftime.

Edit: Cowboys held in the first half to cash my bet and during that last-minute play from the Lions.  Cheesy
That first half bet did cash for you when I tuned in Cowboys were leading 7-3. Then cameback to catch the final few minutes to see the Lions only a point behind. So it was close match even for as you said a Dallas team who were perfect at home. All those chances for the Detroit to win it with a 2-pt convert because of those penalties against Dallas at the final play of the game.

If we have games like this one for the final day of the year, then we are all in-store for some eventful matches.

Here are the markets for all the NFL games today on this New Years eve:

Great prediction on that betbuilder and you have some guts made of steel to take the interception as I always pass by this prop from hitting in an NFL game. Flacco was on a roll and especially with a team like the Browns being 7-1 at home before yesterday match. They were running on a high this night.

Watched bits and pieces of the game as Cleveland had this game won by the first half. As you have already mentioned with the second half only having a single field goal split between both teams to show for their efforts.

Tonight we have only games in the NCAA with some high profile teams playing.
Here are those markets if you plan on betting on the favorites and the over as these games are really fast paced:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/american-football/usa/ncaa-regular/matches

Next match in the NFL is on Saturday in the evening with the Cowboys going against the Lions:

The best play for today's TNF would be on the Browns because of their playoff situation, but something feels off when most bettors are expecting the Browns to win by 7 or more.

The under would've been a solid pick against these two good defensive teams, but the over has been hitting more than usual and will probably continue until the final week.

That said, i've come up with this bet builder to bet on the INT prop and added an alternative over to get the plus odds.

@ralle14
Congrats on the win with the Ravens making it look as if the match was no sweat against the 49ers.
Thanks and I wish we get to have more of these sweat-free wins.  Cheesy

Edit: Nice, the betbuilder hits in the second quarter as Flacco got his INT and the total is already at 40+ points.

Today we have a good match-up between the Cleveland Browns vs New York Jets for our Thursday Night Football!

The Browns are heavy favorites with a N.Y Jets team who says Aaron Rodgers will not return for the remainder of the season so they are still relying on another quaterback Siemian since Wilson is in concussion protocol.

There seems to be always some sort of controversary with this guy, whether that be on or off the field.

Congrats on the win with the Ravens making it look as if the match was no sweat against the 49ers.
Watched the first half of the game and Purdy didn't look like his usual self and had fumbles and a three inceptions which never happened to him before and I think the announcer mentioned not even in his college years in any first half.

Very true @bbc.reporter !
Christian McCaffery even though the game was a big loss for his team, he still performed outstanding and should still be considered MVP of the season. It shouldn't matter if the team he's on is on the losing end of the stick.
Had him for getting over 5.5 passing receptions @4.04x on my NFL acca and he got that easily.
Just too bad there were many upsets that day with 1.3x odd teams getting beat.

@ralle14. Agreed and this game might decide who will be the regular season MVP similar to what I have already mentioned in the original NFL thread. This did not get much reaction from the fans there, however.

I reckon much of all the NFL fans want Brock Purdy or Christian McCaffery to be voted as MVP. If a Christmas miracle occurs and the 49ers win this game, there might be a chance but Purdy needs to be on the field.
