Here we go!
The beginning of the NFL Weekend with a Sunday chocked full of games from midday to evening and one Monday night football so to round off week one of the 2023 season.
Here are the matches and the markets as of now:

The two matches that will be having interest in over all the others are the New York Jets and Baltimore.
All because of the quarterbacks with those two teams: Aaron Rodgers starts his first game with the Jets and Lamar Jackson due to dismal season he had last year.
Will quite interesting to see how they start their new season off for the potential of their respective teams.

My bet was a field goal short Tongue

and i'd say the Lions got lucky to get away with a win against the Chiefs because it came down to a field goal in the last few minutes. Both teams made mistakes, but the Chiefs threw that match so hard when they had several chances to recover.

The Chiefs started great in the first half, then things looked sloppy in the second half. Mahomes was throwing great passes on almost every play but their receivers can't collect the ball properly.

The odds earlier in the week of 1.38x must of for when he was still in the lineup because they were heavy favorites to win the season opener at home.
They mentioned he injured himself during practice earlier in the day? They looked as if he could of won them the game where that pass to Toney would of been a walk in the park for Kelce to make and possibly run it into the endzone to save them the game.

Reliable wide receivers are where they were lacking for yesterday's game only losing by a point.

i'm siding with the Lions to test the Chiefs' defense and expect them to put up at least three TDs and a field goal.

I also added an alternate handicap as a small boost to the bet builder because I know the Chiefs aren't great at covering spreads. The team total is still missing from the main markets and there's no other option aside from going through the bet builder.

Was a really good game. Some might like to say there's a litter controversy with the holding call late in the game, but even the defender admitted that he held him, so there shouldn't be any controversy, and you're right..Chiefs won fair and square. I put my money on Mahomes. The way I see it, I used to get burned pretty much every time I bet against Brady, I feel the same about Mahomes going forward. The man is too unbelievably good. ( and the Bears could have drafted him Roll Eyes

I pretty much figured game was over at halftime with the Eagles up 10 and Mahomes limping off the field. What happened the 2nd half was just amazing. The Chiefs came out with a solid game plan and executed. If i'm the Eagles, i'd be sad I lost, but holy shit would I be looking forward to next year. You cannot play any better then that really.

I agree. Although one thing I didn’t consider was that Jim Cramer is an Eagles fan. I should’ve known better.

I haven’t followed the season close enough to know how true this is or not, but as a casual fan that watches the highlights on sportscenter between hearing about my basketball games, it seems like the Eagles have been quite a bit better this year than their opponents. I haven’t seen the Chiefs be too impressive, so I gotta go with Philly on this. Doesn’t effect me either way, but I’ll be watching.
