I am also glad that nicehash is back. The sum of the balances in my account is not active. It is written that specific information on refunds will be announced before January 31. But I don't really care. I never keep coins on an internal wallet. I'm more worried about the fact that the nicehash pools are working intermittently. The production is not stable. Periodically lost connection pools.

Do payouts have fixed or percentage fee?
Their website says "payouts from 0.001 BTC" which is atm like 11 USD. So if you keep payouting 50 USD your risk should be minimal with highest profitability?

Thus, what does "...from..." means? And how are payout fees calculated?

i'm confused now..
must i trust nicehash again?
they offer great profit, great return...
but they haven't paid the lost / hack money

should i return to nicehash again?
please advice

It's your call, but I personally have a hard time trusting a site that got hacked, hasn't revealed anything about the investigation, hasn't confirmed they will reimburse everyone, and now wants people to come back and help them earn more money again.

It's a sh!t situation, and I will have to see some stability and reliability before even considering my hash power with them.

where is more profit?
l3+ shows 17$ in 24 hours and other pools profit is 20-22

Done be just looking at "profits" since that is only IF they pay you  Grin  Grin  Grin

While I do not really hold grudge against them here are my few issues:

- Their minimum payment policy is still ridiculous
- They will announce on Jan 31st when will they pay out outstanding (pre hack) balances - so you are not getting payed on Jan 31st
- No real details on investigation, mitigation process etc.

There are many questions to be answered here. Also you will mine now and basically make them money that they will pay back your outstanding dues ... their h/s rate is slightly higher than other pools but is that cause they want your business back???

We are all adults here and should be able to make our own decisions but keep in mind that whole crypto world revolves around trust and there were some serious issues recently (hint hint) .....

Good news! But when I get my BTC? When it will cost the lowest price... a coincidence - I do not think so. They simply did not want to pay when bitcoin started to grow.

I wouldn't trust nicehack again, come on guys we know that they are giving convenience when it comes to the profit of our mined coins.

But it just happened that their security isn't good as others and they hired a past hacker or who knows that hacker is still on his own agenda and keeps on doing nasty things.

If I were you, I'll move to another pool and will not be fooled again by them.

What is the old saying.....Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me!!

Add also this one, once is enough - twice is too much.

As an update I've read in a group that there are some bugs existing and I can't post it since I forgot on what group of miners is that.

And that really made me feel upset on their comeback, no more NH. Take them guys with what you believe but I've warned you.

Well, none of the mining servers are accepting connections at the moment, so ethics aside you can't mine anyway...

Are you trying the nVidia miner? Legacy miner(AMD) works fine since yesterday...

Nope, using the tcp stratum address in Claymore/Cast. Tried EU, US and Asia versions. Maybe a temp glitch...

If the hack was indeed an excuse to sell 4k+ coins at a price of 18-19K dollars. That's very clever move by them, profit at least $30mn+  . Well thats how you do it boys  Grin
If it is the case they took a big risk that paid off, gotta kinda like em for it.

if that was the case, if that move failed you wouldn't like them then. not to mention if that's the case they took a gamble WITH YOUR MONEY and WITHOUT your consent just to gain a few bucks

It's obvious it was them that did the hack, anyone using this service is in denial and addicted to the site. I really don't want to associate with a service that is destroying mining for the real miners.

Yeah, it's very suspicious that this hacking is just before the bitcoin rate falls.
Well, at least let them return what was on the balance, and that's good for me.

So Nicehash comes back online the same day that the last of the coins left the wallet they went into, in the meantime BTC went up to $19k, day it came back online BTC at $15.5k, were they sold at top price and bought back at lower price, in my calculations 4700 bitcoins at $3500 profit = 16.45 million dollars profit??
Just a thought??
I have a feeling that they knew somehow that the bitcoin price will crash soon. now they can buy back bitcoins on a much lower price. They said they will return bitcoins on end of January thats possible indication that by then the prices will go up again.

Since I never found a good reliable pool with a LOW payout threshold for CryptoNight (Monero) mining, my CPU miners are pointed at Nicehash.
I had the one Vega doing something else while NH was down (not cryptocoin related), it's also pointed at Nicehash.
The rest I'm keeping away for now.
Nanopool you can set to 0.3 Monero payout, that is pretty low. I still prefer nicehash and already switched back to it though.
