Altcoins are known as "scamcoins" for a reason .... they will die relative deaths.

Bitcoin will be the most stable place to see both value and long-term gains. BTC's price will be atleast 4x/4 times current levels today if you buy and wait 5 years.

Bitcoin's lightning network is emerging where fees will be tiny and cross-chain atomic swaps for decentralized exchange.

Governments and laws are controlled by the central banks. Bitcoin is an anti-establishment revolution that has already solidified itself worldwide.

Bitcoin cannot be controlled. It cannot be banned. It cannot be made illegal. And conversely it cannot be legalized. It just simply is. And people can always use it.

Those trying to undermine and manipulate bitcoin stem from the central bank system around the world;
-the central banks dictate policy to all the operating big banks around the world and have essentially tried their best to ban bitcoin related transactions for more than four years straight, ever since 2013, and have failed at stopping bitcoin's growth, adoption, and popularity
-the central banks fund efforts to undermine bitcoin, providing plenty of capital and liquidity to private companies and venture backed groups such as Digital Currency Group (they own Coinbase, GDAX, Kraken, Bitpay, and media outlet Coindesk) and also Roger Ver/Bitmain to undermine and break the bitcoin protocol and/or manipulate trade

Bitcoin is a secure, decentralized, trustless and open system which cannot be banned nor controlled.
 
Bitcoin is ultimate store of value and its popularity has strengthened over time and maximizes value compared to any other altcoin...why?:
If it can be shutdown, and have assets frozen by a bank or government, there would be no value
If it wasn't secure, there would be no value.
If it wasn't immutable, there would be no value.
If it wasn't globally distributed, there would be no value.
If it wasn't so strong, open-source decentralized and unstoppable, there would be no value.
If it wasn't so scarce, there would be no value.
If it was easy to spam transactions, there would be no value
If it required a central 3rd party to function, there would be no value
If it was stopped after all major banks on Earth banned in 2013 to today, there would be no value. (say "bitcoin" when transacting and watch the block of the transaction. simple fix=never mention "bitcoin").
If it didn't have the history of 8+ years (and still no hacker can exploit bitcoin blockchain), there would be no value
Bitcoin is on the verge of lightning network release rendering altcoins as only backup plan options if not dead.
If it was exactly like fiat and only did transactions, there would be no value.

Bitcoin's value is worth hundreds of billions USD today. Altcoins however are scams, weak, pyramid schemes not offering these values.

Bitcoin has all the characteristics needed combined to hold the most value and increasing more than any other financial-asset option coming from the manipulated fiat central-banking debt-system. (more than stocks, more than houses, more than gold)

Yes there's a possibility  that defeat bitcoin, if the price will still down. But i'm also believe in bitcoin for me no one altcoins can beat the huge price of bitcoin.

If the price of bitcoin is continue to falling and other altcoins was increasing there's a possibility to defeat bitcoin. But honestly i dont think it may happen as far as i know bitcoin is the king of crypto currency and i believe in it will rise again.

you cant just say no future for bitcoin yet.
if you say that because bitcoin price is going down, youre wrong.
just wait until the price is come back going up.

After the massive bull run BTC had, it was understandable there would be a correction like this. personally I don't think btc is going anywhere yet.

i think bitcoin will have high value in future. because bitcoin is future in economy and currency..

i think everybody must know first before it falls, because everytime new people know bitcoin its popularity never stops, so it will take a lot of time for a certain altcoin to replace it, maybe 20 years from now some altcoin will surpass it who knows.  

Yes. Exactly! Bitcoin is the only king of altcoins and Cryptocurrency. No on can defeat what Bitcoin does in its investors. In the past 2017, Bitcoin’s price increase almost 800% and it makes the other invetors to be rich and to be a Bitcoin millionaire. As long as Blockchain is exists, Bitcoin is still have future. And no one can predict what bitcoin’s future.

In my opinion no one can defeat bitcoin price or value and also it defends on the honesty of the investor, bitcoin is the way to be rich and this crytocurrency make your life better in the future that's why many people are still believe in bitcoin.

I believe that bitcoin will still persist as an important referent in the market, although undoubtedly sooner or later higher technology developments will appear that will make the current blockchain obsolete, although we must keep in mind that even the blockchain's potential has not yet been sufficiently exploited and still has a lot to offer the world, which is why I believe it will remain in force for at least ten more years.

I don't think Bitcoin will disappear for quite some time, it has established itself over time as the largest value coin in Crypto space. You are seeing fluctuations in the price which is most likely a correction to the rapid an accelerated increase in value during 2017.

I think for me, everything that can be possible way development if it will try and patience of all things that we can change on our life so, I think bitcoin it is the way to earn and save money for the future life.Bitcoin it is way or change in our life for the good and development to be rich in our future.

The first time that another coin will have a higher capitalization for Bitcoin, Bitcoin will lose its symbolic leadership, and once this is gone, everything can change very fast and the throne is lost forever.

No one can prove and can say that Bitcoin can now disappear at present, it's just a matter of thinking. Crypto's history will stay and it will be especially effective in this forum.

"A little decrease" Who are you kidding? It's dropped over 50% from ATH. Bitcoin is dead and the big players are selling down probably whilst shorting it as well. No smart investor is going to swipe 50% off their portfolio and say there's any confidence in this. I'd dare say most have already exited and are just playing it further down to wipe out retail investors as much as they can. That's how they make their money. It wouldn't surprise me to see BTC below $1000 by the end of this year. It's dotcom all over again and playing out exactly the same.

although one day we can not predict whether bitcoin will be destroyed and replaced by new technology or bitcoin will get more and more memuntaki and have big name in cryptocurrency, we must take part and succeed bitcoin and look for big profit from bitcoin. this is done if one day bitcoin really destroyed and replaced new technology we already feel the profit with bitcoin.

as long as Blockchain is exist, Bitcoin will always have future. Blockchain technologies will come new for sure, but it doesn't mean bitcoin will drop or gone away, because bitcoin is the main project of blockchain technology (as I know). Blockchain improvement will strengthen bitcoin existence.

Ethereum is for fooling people. It is a grand concept, but its not capable.
It's follow up Cardano will address the issues, well that is what they like to do.
And already stating it as important as Google is today, the Google for cryptocurrencies.

It will be a hard fight, money will clash at its best, and we all wanna see Bitcoin firing up its booster aka lightning network,
and how high the stars really get they are grabbing for.

People start losing their hearts when we see a little decrease in the price of bitcoin i think still bitcoin has a very good potential even though its price is dropping but it does not mean that it is going to end tomorrow, bitcoin is still in the top list of the investors and they will never lose hope from bitcoin, they are still investing their money in bitcoin because they are too much confidence about bitcoin future.

You could be right, and what you said could happen, but i think there is really low chances for that to happen. Bitcoin is main and strongest cryptocurrency at the moment, but that doesn't mean that bitcoin is crypto world. One day Bitcoin will die for sure, and some new and better crypto will succeed it. Large number of people around the world likes what blockchain represent and also like idea of decentralized currency like bitcoin. Therefor i think we can say that if bitcoin dies some other altcoin will succeed it.

Bitcoin and altcoins represent free currency which belongs to everyone and no one, and that idea will live as long as there is even one crypto out there.
