If bear market is going to happen in 2022 it won't last long like the past because this adoption of a thing is 10x more stronger than the past, if you think that all crypto coins are going to lose 90% of their value again you are dreaming, oh unless Covid 2.0 happens

IMO, I believe in the saying that in the crypto industry everything is possible, that's why we cant so sure about how the bearish market will perform if it was going to happen in 2022 and for me, the best thing to do is prepare for the upcoming bearish market sentiment because we really don't know what will happens next. But I agree with some of your opinions that the market size has already grown compared before so it might have big changes in terms of effect if the bearish market sentiment will arrive.

what about bad news. the crypto market is still not strong enough to withstand the pressure from bad news. You can see when China banned mining, the market crashed just because of this. and in the future the same thing could happen. so there is still a possibility of a long bear in the future. adoption might be a plus for now. but if it's time for the market to dump, it won't be able to prevent it. so always prepare for the worst and don't trust the current situation too much.
I agreed with you based on the fact some negative fundamental news such as banning and clamping down on exchanges of cryptocurrencies in any country that has huge number of cryptocurrencies enthusiasts will surely have some impact that will culminate to dumping of the price, beside that cryptocurrencies is unpredictable even without any bad news bitcoin experienced a major correction after it reached ATH earlier in the year probably due to Elon Musk remark before ralling back, so also we should expect a likely major correction once price hit $100K probably in 2022.

There will always be a long bear market or deep correction. In mainstream, we call it recession or depression. There will be a boom and bust. It's just a matter of time, and no one will be able to predict when it's going to happen. The fact that our economy is not growing, but assets price continue to rise should alert you that something really bad is going to happen. Shocked

And it's not just about the crypto market.

Well 2021 really showed us how crypto changed since 2018, when everyone was just waiting for the crash which was inevitable to be honest.
Now we still see huge fluctuations but world adoption is so spread out, that there is much less chance for such a huge drop. Imagine, how its gonna be in 5 years.
There is no need to imagine things that haven't happened in the long term, because enjoying things that are profitable now is much better than thinking too much about things that haven't happened with predictions of possibilities that are still uncertain even though the evidence in the past is clearly visible.

We can't really predict the future. I mean what if another disastrous event happen like covid-19, in which I don't pray we experience such again. Either way, then I personally agreed with you. China seem to have pulled their plug finally, so I don't think there will be a FUD as strong as theirs. Let's just enjoy the moment while it lasts.

Well, I think that FUDs and any negative news will still affect the market price and it cause abrupt change but that is just a short correction and it recovers then.

But I guess, we shouldn't have to be overconfident since we are not sure what will happen next. To get prepared is the best market anticipation and invest or buy those coins that obviously has the market potentials that to regret later.

A lot of things that could affect the market trend, it somehow we could expect but that we need to trust as well knowing that the crypto market is currently growing stronger and bigger market spread.

The adoption that took place this year was incredible. The beginning of bitcoin is back at the peak of his influential people like Elon Musk entering. And now some famous coin founders, such as CZ, justin, vitalik, eljaboom also always support the development of cryptocurrencies. Some giant companies, tesla, Microenergy also keep bitcoin to invest. It was so much different in 2017 that there were no influential supporters back then we only relied on a large community. Now, Cryptocurrencies will be difficult to enter a bear market. Always look in corrections to buy coins.

I still think that everything is possible in terms of market developments and that is especially true in the cryptospace because, as everyone knows, the crypto space is driven a lot by emotion and hype and not so much by logic and innovation a lot of times. Just look at all those stupid meme-coins that are appearing everyday. They have zero justification to exist but people still buy them. I agree with you here though because i also think that we won't see a bear market like the one from 2018 to 2020 again with prices that are going down like 95% from their ATH of the bullrun before. We will still see corrections but not so heavy ones.

If covid 2.0 occurs isn't this good news for digital currencies? We will make this world a digitalization including money. That's where cryptocurrency will shine. I'm even thinking about adoption now. Cryptocurrencies will no longer experience a bear market, but there is only a prolonged correction in each positive market. I don't think 2018 will be inevitable in 2022.

I hope that people will not be delusional again to think the price of crypto will be going to the bottom again. There are lots of things that have been changed. The day for the big discount will not come again and so many people keep saying that crypto will be going down again like what happened with 4-year cycle. That day will never come back again crypto has been discovering a new floor and it will be even higher than the old floor. i think that discussing that is not relevant again at this moment.
Can you forget about covid? that's something that we should not feel worried about anymore. I hope that there will be no big dump again as so many people aware of the existence of cryptocurrency. So many big guy was also seeing crypto as an opportunity to be used for future investment. The bear market could happen anytime. This is how market works today. There will always be a chance for people to bought the dip but expecting bitcoin to go to the 20k again will be useless.

Yes, you are absolutely right now there will be no big dump like past, we may see a little correction in the market maximum of 10-15%, no more than it. We may see 10-15% this week because there is a bearish divergence in the BTC 1D chart. So trade carefuly.

Now no one is talking about Covid because the handling has been very maximal and after all it has never affected all cryptocurrencies because everyone can only find cryptocurrency via the internet, not through the real world.

It's good to hear optimistic sides but we never really know what could happen. We have seen the market go down without a big reason at all or events showing that it could be connected with the bear that was happening.
I don't want to be the pessimistic one, but I mean don't relax just yet. There's a lot of possibilities the market will break down or a correction could happen. It's just better to always be ready when you want to pull out and buy back afterwards.

Nobody knows for sure what will happen exactly except whales that control the market. The best that we can do is determine an exit strategy and sell as the market goes up and buy again as the market bottoms out. I personally have a portion of my funds that I cashed out in Ref Finance yield farming. That way it's still earning money regardless of what the market does and I can take funds out and sell them for USD when I'm ready.

Trends are always volatile, and it is natural to expect that a very long upward trend should be replaced by the same downward and downward trend, profit taking. Conversion of some financial instruments to others, I think that very soon, against the backdrop of the electricity crisis in China, and the cold winter of 2021, we will see red rivers.
My thoughts are whether it will stay the same as the previous pattern, which is usually one of the first signs that the market is nearing a peak. Many people expect Bitcoin to hit 100k by the end of the year, which seems unlikely at this point unless we can break through the 69k resistance with some strength in the coming weeks. maybe it will be 100k by the end of the year

You are right. There are more people who are aware of crypto now, so I don't think that they will lose interest to crypto even when there is a bear market. They will continue working on it, but they will find other ways to make money. At least there will be holders who will not sell crypto in any way and there will be developers who will create new projects.

Well, we don't know and can't be sure that. It happens that we are optimistic and very hopefull for the coming year/s because of what it showed this year that it shocks us. But if we are in the bearish this year, I'm in no doubt that we are also thinking negative.

But I think, you are right. Correction will come but can't be that long as people are also in a way of getting strong and not in panic unlike what we see in the past during 2018 bear season. This growing adoption makes this recovery so fast, it can't be an instant but not seeing it takes year like it happens before.

I think the price is going up too fast without proper periods of correction, and it's fueled by FOMO and media hype. That doesn't look good, and I believe it'll be natural for the price to crash and stay crashed for at least half a year. It can't just keep going up. At least, that's not what happened with Bitcoin before. I'm not sure about the long-term bear market... On the one hand, Bitcoin recovered from the 2018 crash, and this should be reassuring to investors (back in 2018 many thought it will never recover). On the other hand, the problem might be that once Bitcoin reaches a certain price like $100k, major investors might cash out and simply not care about Bitcoin anymore because they've reached their goals.

We will break $100,000 per bitcoin this year, in the final few months. There will be another bear market though, it won’t be pretty but we’ll recover & enter another bull market after the next halving. I don’t think the 4 year cycles will end if I am honest.
