It's a shame that doing good and giving water to those who do not have access to it is not newsworthy..

If it's any consolation it is newsworthy, WDC & DOGE got plenty of press from CCN for their water-related charities. It just isn't newsworthy when it is NobleCoin doing it (while not as early as BTC and other coins from the old, respected guard, still earlier than some).

We did get a mention. The tone of that article initially was condescending/mocking towards coins that apparently tried to copy DOGE in an attempt to not be a 'scam-coin' (that was the impression the article gave initially). You can see my response below in that article as well as the response from one of our sponsored teams. CCN does not write articles on NobleCoin, because (and I paraphrase a response from another article) 'our charity work, sponsorships and movement is not newsworthy' (unless we pay good amounts of BTC to be sponsored - they won't actually tell me how much I need to pay if I wanted to). Don't assume cryptocurrency media is any less corrupt than mainstream media. The editors do not need to disclose what coins they hold and pump nor do they need to disclose the amount of kickbacks they receive.

I'm not surprised in the slightest but it still annoys me

It's a shame that doing good and giving water to those who do not have access to it is not newsworthy while painting a car to go round circles apparently is but this is the unfortunate world we live in I guess

Much like alt-coins copied the design of Bitcoin, and Dogecoin directly copied Litecoin; many coins have tried to jump into charity and share the positive PR Dogecoin has enjoyed.  Takeicoin, Karmacoin, Watercoin, Whalecoin (at least one of those I made up, but give it a month and it will exist), it seems every new cryptocurrency needs an official charity associated with it.

Why doesn't Noble get a mention ? The only coin that is actually charitable at its core yet shit coins like TAK & KARM get a mention and makes out like Doge was the first coin to do so called charitable deeds

Also sponsoring some idiot to turn left at every turn on a round race track is not charitable it's SPONSORSHIP, there's a massive difference between helping those in need and helping those achieve in return for publicity

Good to see the voting going a little bit quicker on Mintpal. I like agx.io, but volume is still very low.

A lot of people are wary of exchanges right now as so many have failed recently.

I've lost 200,000 Noble on Coinex.pw right now and lost 235,000 USDE on coinmarket.io. Very frustrating and makes me reluctant to trade coins because sell orders mean you have to leave coins on the exchange for long periods of time if you don't want to dump to the highest current bidder.

Yeah, it might be annoying, but it's how the scene is right now. And unfortunately, I actually envision seeing the scene this way for a while to come. A lot of those other coins have people with highly speculative and deep pockets (with trading volumes to match) and that's why they enjoy getting the unfair attention.

Just like any news purveyor, there are clear slants and it continues to be that way.

news from coinmarket.io

"CoinMarket.io will be shut down when the problems are solved."

sad to see the former best exchange shutting down  Sad

Xcuse me, but after this desaster no one with any brain at all would trade there.
Lets use Swisscex.com more, they are legit fast and simply good.

I prefer agx.io at the moment, simply because of the layout..
I do agree, the layout of agx.io is pretty solid. Although it is too tab-driven and some of the flow could use some additional tweaking.

I know it's sad to see coinmarket.io go down because of how quick it was (compared to lots of other places), but the security issue left a significant lash on a lot of people. Fortunately, they have done a decent job of returning funds (comparatively) and hopefully someone takes the code that coinmarket.io will make public and fix the security flaw and make a revitalized version of the site.

still have 3 million NOBL in coinex.... guess that isnt coming back now.  Cry

They said they were going to cover all losses from their trading fees? Or is this outdated by now?

As far as I know they are covering all losses. Stay patient was the last update on twitter I believe.

Holding any funds on an exchange for any period longer than needed for trades to be made is obviously becoming a big no-no in the Crypto-world.  I'm sorry for all those who have lost funds as of late due to the fishy exchange operations.
