Ultimately crypto-currency is about the money, not the principal. When you are taking loans and such to establish mining farms and equipment, it becomes much harder to mine on principals. I commend NobleCoin and its efforts, but I do ultimately have lenders I have to repay. Currency like Credits coming out bashing Premines are making premine currencies appear even more like a scam than anything else, even if that isn't the case. I do hope you don't allow the "majority" keep you from pursuing your goals with NobleCoin.
Sorry GB I do not mean to seem to be attacking miners as I know they have bills to pay. My frustration is generally aimed at speculators/investors (I use the term lightly as there are not many in this environment) and those who play the markets short-medium term. Noble gets bashed by plenty of alt coins because our premine is a threat: because its public and transparent and because it's used for competitive edges against them (real promotion, real deals and real infrastructure).
Edit: Our critics also often fail to mention our premine has been transparent/constantly proven itself for two months, my details are publicly registered, I can be personally reached by people like Peter from The Water Project and interested parties on LinkedIn. I'm not an anonymous figure with a private premine that could easily get away with scamming the community for tens of thousands of dollars (in the first month potentially 100 thousand+).We changed the game and have been bashed by other coins from day 1 because of it.
No need to apologize, I didn't take it as an "attack" personally. I was just explaining my position in regards to what is going on as of late. Much of the time my mining rigs are leased out on Betarigs, and this is again because it makes the most sense for me financially at this point in time.
One thing I have wanted to see out of Crypto-currency is that the currency portion of it becomes emphasized, that is the crypto is used in transactions and not so much speculation. While the Marketplace is a step in the right direction, what are your opinions on a user-to-user marketplace? I am not asking this to be developed by the NobleCoin development team, but I am interested in the possibility of getting such a service and site established.
