Question for ROFO on the Waterproject

Hey luckycoin,

We're plugged by The Water Project here: https://thewaterproject.org/welcome-cryptos.php in both the introductory line and the right hand sidebar - 'The Noble Movement just launched a campaign after joining in some fascinating discussions with us' - further down the page. I'm assuming/hoping Peter updates the page with our Water Project when his time is free. He's also backing us on Twitter, for example: The Water Project ‏@TheWaterProject  Feb 18 - Congrats to @NobleCoin on meeting your goal! Our first fully funded cryptocurrency fundraiser!

This was before the final CC frauds (both Peter and myself felt we had followed up and confirmed them, but they were both reversed after success). He keeps us up to date about them and I believe is very appreciative and positive about our future with them due to our transparency and dealing with the reversals - even if it takes some time because we don't want to affect the volume/crash any price in this bear market. We continue to have good discussions with him.

Our official fundraising page is here: https://thewaterproject.org/community/profile/jason-curby

Our official project page is here: http://thewaterproject.org/community/projects/kenya/well-repair-in-kenya-4257

Long-term we are hoping to be an officially recognised crypto publicly accepted directly by Peter, but that may take some time on his end as he takes regulations very seriously for good reasons. He is now taking BTC and LTC direct (edit: He was taking LTC a week ago, he may have pulled it to continue coding/ensuring he can meet regulations), and it's confirmed our future Water Projects will only take crypto rather than traditional methods to prevent the fraud and reversals that kept hitting our project from happening again. I also think the fact that we are the only crypto that went with the gameplan of continuously converting and donating rather than waiting for weeks to hand any over has shown that we are taking this a little more seriously. Our donations haven't been affected by a drop in price because we donated to the official fundraising page rather than holding them in NOBL.

Can't believe the price!! I have been trying to lay off checking every day, and have only just withdrawn my NOBL from coinmarket.io today to see it is worth 1/4 what I paid for it.

Gutted!

Lets hope people see the true value of this coin.

Edit/ have just read back the last few pages and can see Rofo has put into place some tidy advancements. Well done.

Entire market is dumping, As expected. Only the strong will survive. If you expected to make a killing in a week then you were wrong.
If you are in for the long run then you are in the right place.

I'm very sure that the Dev team has some great things upcoming and I think it'll really help with the value of NOBLE.

As part of the cycle that I have seen with lots of crypto-currencies, we're still in the stage where the daily mined inflation numbers still have a strong impact on the coin. NOBLE just went under the 2% daily inflation rate only a few days ago and it'll hit the 1% inflation rate in about 6 weeks. When it hits that time, I'd think that would be a good time (in terms of the long-term prospects) to evaluate how far NOBLE has come in regards to market penetration, growth, and the roadmap.

I personally still have great confidence and I think that there is a lot of things to come with NOBLE in the upcoming weeks!

Question for ROFO on the Waterproject

I donated a few times to them usually about 10% of my 2.8 mh/s miner early stages, and I don't really see any mention on their website about our involvement.   Just a tadbit about Worldcoin donating about $10,000 but due to untimely donations the value of the funds actually received was <$5,000 and how Vertcoin matched some of the missing funds.

Is their a specific well and link to see what we attributed to the waterproject besides the page on Noblecoin?  Perhaps having a direct link that people can see on twitter and facebook outside of the noblemovement.com leading to the well information on Waterproject.org would be great.

Just a quick tidbit before I step out for the day.

I have 4,400+ followers on Twitter, but not sure how many of them would be interested in Noblecoin or cryptocurrency.

When I get some stuff together I will tweet some links to some of the charity work Noble has done, see if that drives a little bit of interest in the potential of these currencies to have a positive impact on the world.

Any new charities we can work with? I have some Noble I could donate - I have a decent pile in the wallet now.

CLOAKCOIN. NOBLECOIN. VERICOIN.

We're cautiously happy to announce that we have teamed up with @CoyoteWallStreet to take the promotion of NobleCoin to the next level.

First, we'd like to stress he has a lot of fans, and a lot of haters. We had to do research on both sides to make our decision on working with him. On one hand, his following and power of marketing when it comes to cryptocurrency is arguably second to none. He's aggressive, he's smart, and he sells. On the other hand, he does have a checkered past that he doesn't hide and he has a lot of haters who report deals gone sour. We invite you to read one of the first articles that pops up here and make your own decision. Ultimately, we appreciated the fact Coyote makes his personal details known, aggressively promoted DOGE throughout its rise, and addresses criticism as he does in the link we just shared. In our conversations with him, he also got extremely worried at one point that WE had screwed HIM, and offered to return a 350,000 bounty and end relations if we were just messing with him. I guess you can never really be sure in the crypto scene, but just this act alone helped us make a decision.

Edit: Round 1: Being promoted and tweeted to Mr. Cramer and Coyotes 33,000+ followers. It doesn't hurt to try Tongue
The wallet is promo. only - real address & private key not shown.

Well I see twitter page with a following of 33k + already doing the job excellent.. Smiley

Howdy,

This is my first time posting, I actually just signed up for this site.  I've been following BTC for only a very brief period.  I actually just started back when PTS was taking off because it was somewhat Nvidia friendly and I had plenty of GPUs for that.

Anyways, after mucking around in a few other alt coins, Noble has really caught my attention.  Another user at my normal forum (OCN.net) recommended I take a look at Noble, and I gotta say, I'm pleased with what I see.  While other coins seem to be just sloppy $$$ makers (nothing wrong with that), this one seems to have a little bit of a more selfless goal.  I guess that goes without saying that the creator, Rofo, has put a lot of valuable thought and time into this.  I was previously an avid F@H user, but after 60 million points I thought I could give my cards a rest...JK Tongue

Noble seems like the perfect way to contribute to a good cause while still managing to cover the power bill Tongue

Looking forward for the future and the valuable information that I'll learn in this thread.

Welcome friend, sounds as though you can be another asset to the movement. Smiley

Is there a new version of the Mac Wallet available?  Version 1.0.0 has been crashing since Apple released Maverick 10.9.2 yesterday.  Cry

I tried to compile my own from the Github source; it won't work on my Mac - but, it will on my Linux machines (Huh).  I have been compiling other coins on my Mac, without any problems - even today. It just won't work for NobleCoin.

A new version would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

I think my question got lost - anyone has an answer?
After updating to 10.9.2 I haven't had any issues :/

Nope - promotional wallet picture only. We have a second address/private key locked for that.

Good to know! That article I linked was pretty bad press! Smiley

PM me on OCN. There is a Noble thread there. I spent 6 years of my life folding and wish I had dedicated just one rig to BTC when It first started but at the time we were pushing for #1 and then the Chimp challenge so I never freed up the system. Man Hindsight! Not to mention that 7k electric bill! Cheesy
