Anyway, we can't completely put the blame on Elon Musk and Tesla as we are all entitled to our own interpretation and deduction from his tweet neither was it an investment advice. We were all sucked into Musk's perception and involvement with crypto and as such, what he says now matters. Too bad of us.

If a mentally deranged lunatic can cause a 40% crash in Bitcoin prices just using his tweets, then the problem lies with us, and not with him. Panic selling has been the curse of Bitcoin for the past one decade. When will people learn to hold their coins? Look at the charts now. After crashing to $34,000 per coin, now the prices are slowly recovering. According to the coinmarketcap, the current exchange rate stands at $42,000 per coin. But those who dump their coins as a result of panic selling never learn. They will repeat doing that again and again.

Not him but us I agree to that statement! If there's none to follow him from each tweets he made then this venue of investment will continue to move up strongly.

It's really the problem since there are people who rely with someone and they are being quickly moved by influencers who claimed to have deeper knowledge from this industry.

Better to keep away from this kind of people to have a healthy invesment journey, success rely on you and not from somebody else.

do not trust anyone including elons Musk, but believe in the technical analysis made.
Many FUDs are often done so that the price of bitcoin has fallen as it is today.

Current prices are really bad. Price crashes like today can be known through technical analysis, so technical analysis is very important rather than having to believe other people's tweets. Technical analysis is an absolute method that will occur in the market by attracting several lines of support and resistance.

Following big people's influence isn't that bad but believing in everything they said without verifying on your own is a stupid move. I personally follow Elon Musk but I don't follow his FUD and FOMO tweets. In the past few months, We can see that Elon can easily manipulate the market because of his tweets. Well we can see that Elon is a double edge sword for a crypto user depending on how smart you follow these influencers.

According to Tesla, the reason why they are not anymore accepting bitcoin is because of this reason.
Elon Musk says Tesla will no longer accept bitcoin due to fossil fuel use

But this article came out and their study proved that Banking system consumes two times more energy than Bitcoin: Research

So what are your thoughts on this, is Elon still credible that we should follow his tweet?
We are in a decentralized market and yet people have the tendency to follow what someone else is saying about bitcoin as if they were following a religious figure or something, people need to learn how to think by themselves especially since this is a market that encourages that, this is one of the reasons satoshi left, he did not wanted everything that he said to be taken as a law and yet some people are following Musk in precisely that way, I jut hope they have awaken as he is without a doubt partially responsible for what it is happening right now.

I am very happy with the current situation because this is the only way to make people realize that one shouldn't blindly follow others.
No wonder there was a huge panic sell. Most of those Elon followers would have sold while the believers would have bought the dip.
This time though the market recovered at a good pace. Trusting someone blindly is a big mistake and I am sure many of those people would have lost their money.
HODLing is the only way to survive such crashes.

Well it's related but kinda unrelevant to Elon. I mean, elon is being center of attention regarding his words of bitcoin, of course people will be more concerned with the bitcoin, even if the fact shows that banking consumes two times energy than bitcoin. Other than that, tesla is being famous for being ecofriendly or concerned with the environment. Of course, these two things will clash, bitcoin and tesla. That's why elon must take action, since his action does not match each other. Nothing wrong with that, the fact bitcoin is not quite ecofriendly is right, and that must be the reason behind his act.

Elon came out as such a chump in all this. He does not realize how much he killed his reputation by doing all this tweeting. Hopefully he sold all the BTC, and is buying at a loss now...

Elon should be silent for a while to gain strength for the rise of btc.
Agree, be quiet and there should be corrections in the next statements when the community has perceived him as an eccentric and likes to disrupt other people's work, a few months ago he was still happy and supportive of bitcoin as usual, even the community attended the doge party he organized but in a moment he turned into a different person, against what he created. His next statements, if it is constructive and contributes to the value of bitcoin, many people may consider forgiveness and trust back, if he continues to be a freak, he should be ostracized and should live in his world

I never believed in him even once. He's a businessman with a big name in the business industry so I know that his tweets are for his personal motive. He's manipulating the market just to gain the profit that he wants. If we'll all believe in him, he could manipulate even our decisions. We shouldn't rely our destiny in crypto in just one person.

The fact that bitcoin was singled out for this sort of scandal is what makes me believe there is more to it than the fossil fuel excuse and it didn't take up to 2weeks after he @Musk and Tesla decided to use bitcoin as a medium of payment and then this. Well, we can't entirely say Musks scientists or researchers didn't do enough research on the fact or were ignorant of the fact that, there are other institutes or companies that consumes lots of energy too.

Anyway, we can't completely put the blame on Elon Musk and Tesla as we are all entitled to our own interpretation and deduction from his tweet neither was it an investment advice. I want Elon Musks to make another twit that will further bring down the value of Bitcoin.
What falls the price of Bitcoin mostly on Wednesday is after China signal cryptocurrency crackdown.
By stating that Virtual currency (Bitcoin) “is not a real currency” and “should not and cannot be used as currency in the market”, said a joint statement issued late on Tuesday on the People’s Bank of China’s WeChat account, banking, and internet industry associations.

If he tweets again, then it will be the weak hands that will be affected into buying or selling theirs assets. But also if Elon says to HODL then they will follow too. Unfortunately we cannot prevent people from reacting, however we do our best to tell them the best things they could do in a pump and dump scenario. I think it is best for those who do not really listen to him and not really believe in his crypto decisions to stick to our guns, and somehow influence some people to do it.

Whale is whale. With or without us he will remain what he is because he is CEO and billioner man. For me, I don't know what really going on in his mind. Maybe this is just part of the game or whatever for his good. I believe Elon but I never followed everything he tweeted. His influence is incredible.

Well there are many speculation roaming around cryptocurrency world today about Elon-musk and we really don't know if this is true or not, whether he did it or not it's his decision but I guess we should give him the benefit of the doubt regarding this matter. After all He's businessman

I didn't really understand why Elon Musk wasn't honest about his reasoning for halting Bitcoin payments for buying a Tesla. Because I'm sure that he already knew about Bitcoin mining. But he pretended like he didn't. Then, we deduce that the obvious reason was manipulating the market.
The reason that he wasn't honest is because he is a businessman and there is no such thing as an honest businessman and if there ever is, that is probably not the richest businessman out there. I didn't believe what he said in the first place because I have some hunch that it will be just another market manipulation stunt and I was right, the only bad thing that I did was not follow the hype to make some money out of it.

You still "Believe"(!?) it depends on each person, the interesting thing here and it is verified with Elon Musk is that Global external factors such as Covid itself did not affect its price, but individuals or situations related to bitcoin by population correlation, commercial as China, influence.

It is not new, it is the organic volatility of bitcoin. So the stage was there, the red carpet awaited the arrival of the current price.

When I first heard the reason that Elon Musk showed for his action, I was like "Yeah, it's really funny. Now, tell me the real reason.". However, it was the real reason.  Grin  People like Elon Musk shouldn't even try to make a fool of the investors. This is a serious market and people are losing a lot of money just because someone says bad things.

I have not taken elon musk seriously from the beginning. For this reason, I do not follow the things you say or the tweets he sends. but most people blindly believed everything Elon Musk and Elon Musk said. that's the bad thing. Because they believed in him too much, he began to act like the master of this market. I am surprised how quickly he realized that bitcoin was a bad thing or why he made such a change of mind.
