Best is six sticks with 2 to each regulator, but you can do 4 if you want.

You won't be able to go too much higher speed unless you can drop the voltage. Remember one 6A regulator shares to three ports, so if you use all three you're limited to 10W per stick instead of 15W.

so four sticks set 2 to each regulator   would mean 15 watts a stick at truly high speeds correct?

testing the new Gekkoscience 7 port hub now.... 7 newpacs running smoothly @ 450 Mhz for a total of approx 700 GH
using a good solid 12v 10a psu, so it has plenty more juice to go....going to start turning up the speed slowly  Grin

Just had to show of these badass pictures of them running  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

...

Let me know if you want one. Or two. Or a bunch, that'd be cool too.

I am interested in getting at least two. Do you have a ballpark figure on the pricing? Will you be selling these direct or will you be using re-sellers only?

Hubs are up and in stock!
https://www.419mining.com/shop/cables/gekkoscience-7-port-base-hub/
make sure you get a power supply for them as well.
We currently have 7A hubs in stock, while you cant max out 6 sticks at at 650Mhz, it should get you up there. As soon as we finish our testing, i can post more specifics.

10A would be idea, but make sure you get good quality. or run on a 6pin computer power supply.

Ill be posting to eBay and amazon tomorrow!

If I hadn't just bought a Sipolar one a month ago I'd be all over this, I love it! Especially the 12v fan header!

Top notch stuff as always!

USB2 hub, total of 5V 18A provided by three high-efficient 6A regulators powered by 12VDC. Ports are marked by group - 1,2,5; 3,4; 6,7

Accessible 12V pin header on the side for hooking up a 12V cooling fan. Port 1 can also be used to power USB fans with sticks in ports 2-7. This arrangement is optimal since heatsinks would face the rear (cables end) of the hub, with blinky lights visible at the front.

12V power can come from a relatively standard 2.1/5.5mm barrel jack or a PCIe 6-pin.

With this hub and a suitable 12VDC power source and fan it's possible to run six NewPacs at 600MHz each for 800GH total.

Let me know if you want one. Or two. Or a bunch, that'd be cool too.

What is the spacing of the usb slots like on the Tripplite?

Mainly interested in how many Newpacs it can support?

It looks like it could support 16 @ 300MHz or less with 5v per slot if the spacing is adequate otherwise only 8 if they are too close.

Spacing should be good if they're all facing the same way I'm told. This listed to work on 110; 120; 127; 200; 208; 220; 230; 240 and there is a 230v and 110/120v 32 port version as well in a 2U design. All are 2.4A per port.

Well this showed up on our site. https://www.minefarmbuy.com/accessories/tripplite-usb-hub

Though I'm really happy with the Gekko Science demo sidehack sent and I heard there's going to be updates to it before release. Thanks again for the nudge to have them let me test btw sh. I guess I did sneak away with all the 2pacs before and this round they just told me to keep the newpac demo's we did our media with. 2% commission only goes so far for these guys. Keep them busy for me. mineon.

I purchased the 120 Watt (2.1A per port) 10-port USB 3.0 hub from Amazon HERE

I also found some inexpensive dual male to single female USB 3.0 'Y' splitter cables for extra power. I currently own one of these same cables, and it seems to transfer more power than a standard USB 2.0 cable of the same kind (so long as you have a USB 3.0 hub).

The hub is already in hand, but I'm waiting on more NewPac sticks to fill it up and run five (5) at once with frequencies of 250-300 Mh/z. I will be sure to post the results with pics in a few days.

EDIT [2018 NOVEMBER 27]: So, I've had this hub for several days now, and I am NOT impressed. In fact, my 60W Plugable 7-Port USB 3.0 hub works better than this (more expensive) USB 2.0 hub. I will very likely be returning the ICONE 120 Watt 10-Port USB 2.0 hub I recently purchased from Amazon, as I'm not getting the power as listed in the item description. Will keep everyone updated if/when I find a better hub for these sticks..
