I was lucky that in this dip I just bought more under 400k satoshi which was not seeming to happen again quickly. This pump isn't over yet because it may continue with upcoming news. There is something see the increasing volume which is pushing the price upwards.

Guess the app is the only news on 31 August. The Visa confirmation has still not been received. Maybe that's the reason for the dump?

https://twitter.com/BharatKarnani/status/902521048624545793

Nevertheless, MCO will go up in the future. And when the Visa confirmation comes will be ready to explode.

Tomorrow's price is 0.008 btc and growing.

Any specific reason for this confidence that by tomorrow price will touch 0.008 BTC ? I already sold mine and waiting for decline in price to buy again at lower honesty speaking in my opinion which is different than your price already have been too high. Market will see correction before any climb in price. I can hope you are right based on whatever the source of your confidence is.

Fluctuations and patterns are odd. Whales trying to dig in for some more coins?

Yes !

I tried sell for higher and buy for lower by taking use of fluctuations in the price. But the price first increased unusually high and then decreased unusually low. I am now sitting with around 500 less MCOs than I initially had. Some big whales manipulating the price on their own benefit to make people fall in their trap. My piece of advice from this experience - hold on to your coins. Price may jump higher than you think as more news comes.

U lost abt 500 MCO coins ?
I lost abt 2500 coins , man.
No choice, either now or no more .

No matter how far this dump shit goes, i gonna wait till its app/ card come out !
Best time to buy back anyway !

The price is more than $20, I don't think I will be able to buy thousands of MCO with the $1k I have that is meant for investing some other coins. I think the ones I bought will be kept for several more years. Monaco is going to explode up to become one of the major cryptocurrency on top.

Severe manipulation is going on now, and it impairs the trust ratings people give to their preferred cryptos. Why is this happening? Because these valuations might have nothing to do with the technology behind those coins. And this is mostly happening on bittrex now, for no good reason at all, strange.

So, what about those news about new restrictions from credit card issuers?
I've read that only people in EU can use them starting from 15 October, many other countries (especially US and Asia) started banning such services.

Well, looks like whales knew that in advance and pumped monaco, tenx and tokencard to get rid of the coins quickly.

I expect there are a lot of big investors who just invest large sumsof money, like they probably have in MONACO card and don't have time to come here on in Bitcointalk forum to discuss and chatter like many of us here. I am probably thinking theslack room will be busier as investors go there for one on one chats with the dev team. I am sure once ico is over we will have a lot more news posted here so I am not worried.
Well it's a bit worrying when there is a huge dump so fast. I just hope things turn around a bit and it doesn't go to 200k sats. It's sad that people can't hold for one day when the price goes up and they are so impatient to dump so hard.

lol it will dear.  way to much fake volume/support on this for a grea pNd action piece.  as usual ppl just buy during hype and will baghold hard.  MAYBE it gets another leg then sure....they can hope.  it's annoying to see yet again 'speculative' price jump for a project that hasn't even released anything yet and a "coin" many don't even know about yet! lol

sell all your profits in Monaco and join Viberate ICO

we just bought 1000 eth to enter www.viberate.io ICO  - it will be legendary!

this article https://www.coindesk.com/high-profile-advisers-blockchain-startup-viberate-disrupt-music/

and this two videos convinced us!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mNAdHL2R84

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uR9IidHWT0c

Also ask anything on bitcointalk thread:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-ico-vib-viberate-decentralized-music-talent-marketplace-2029450

I think this is the wrong thread to tout another coin, but thanks for letting us know that you dumped all your MONACO coins. We know everyone just goes from coin to coin but please be a little respectful to the MONACO thread lol.  Too many dumpers now will ruin it for the rest of us I guess.

Cards will be available in more regions as they roll out, I heard Asia first, then EU. Local bank regulations will need to be complied with (KYC etc).

It's not that simple. See here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/this-is-whatve-happened-in-the-bitcoin-debit-card-industry-2120076

Quote
Visa Europe, which owns Wave Crest Ltd.(aka MyChoice), is acquired by Visa International on August 22nd.
And the new boss of Wave Crest Ltd. decides to limit the card issuing business only to the residents of the European territory (see the list: https://mychoicecorporate.com/visa-card-issuance-list/)
Furthermore, the Bitcoin debit card companies work with MyChoice need to notify users who don't live in those countries that they need to spend all their balance in 30 days, after which the cards will be suspended. (In another word, you can 't use your card after 30 days)

Monaco was going to use MyChoice as the provider. As far as I understand MyChoice is the only option for Monaco.

I feel your pain man. It seems the old game rules that applied 1-2 weeks ago are not valid anymore.

Do you think a major correction is on the way?

Yea, it doesnt apply anymore.
Whenever i sold at high price , it got even higher
Thus, i just gonna hold on till 0.012 at least .
Apart of that, many lower buy orders r awaiting the panicking sellers.
Whales r profiting frm all this .
These people really need to learn the art of waiting !

Can anybody explain what will be the role of MCO coin when the system is launched? Will it pay dividends or whatever? I haven't found anything in their whitepaper.

But anyway, what role will MCO token play in Monaco ecosystem?

All of the "1% transaction fees" gathered by the Monaco project are stored in a smart contract.  MCO tokens are ownership shares of that smart contract's assets.  You can burn your tokens at any time to claim your share of that smart contract.  See Section 1.4 of the whitepaper.

https://mona.co/monaco-whitepaper.pdf

"1.4. MCO Asset Contract
MCO Asset Contract accrues a 1% licensing fee on
transactions using the Monaco Card
funded with
ETH/BTC, as well as exchange transactions between
ETH/BTC and fiat currencies. Over time MCO will be
backed by a portfolio of the most popular ERC20
tokens. MCO holders will be able to access the
portfolio through a mechanism called “REDEEM &
BURN” (see 1.6).

Under total tokens do they mean total supply or circulating supply? I have noticed on coinmarketcap that total supply is 3.5 times higher.

Total tokens = total supply, which is around 34M MCO if I remember correctly.  Currently only about a third of the MCO tokens are unlocked and available for trading.   Even when they are all unlocked, a third will be a "treasury reserve" for the Monaco project itself rather than the personal benefit of the devs.  I would bet that treasury will not go on the market for a long, long time.

But it will obviously reduce investors share. Moreover, it looks like these debit cards will be available only to EU citizens which greatly reduces the user base and eventual profits.
