Price seems to be determined by nxt early adopter whales, of late. Liquidation still in progress, me thinks.

Well, nobody knows. it is pure speculation. But if crypto currencies will have a breakthrough 1 billion market cap - Dollar / Nxt parity - for Nxt is simply possible. And it would be only one third of current bitcoin market cap. So there is much space to rise.

Maybe you are downloading a complete new blockchain. When you're using windows, please check the location of the database folder. It changed to the user's AppData folder in recent releases.

You should download the entire blockchain from NXT Peerexplorer, then insert it into your DB folder.
