You can look at the BC thread and they often think they are at "at war" with everyone in crypto (esp. clones of their clone) and see themselves as "wolf of wall street" traders and BC as sophisticated and all that goes along with that. The tech is just Novacoin (fork of peercoin) with the POW stage fast forwarded to happen in 7 days.

Whatever means they use, it will backfire in a big way if they get listed and there is no trading volume to back up their 200,000 votes   . So, in additon to votes, we need to show hitbtc that we can follow up on our community's genuine show of interest.

If you have you have signed up and exhausted your voting rights, transfer a nominal amount into your shiny new hitbtc account as play money and trade around with the interface. This will add some volume pressure too.

Then send an email to the PR guy here >>>> [email protected]  telling them:

i) you have transferred some money in and had a look around
ii) what you think about the interface, suggest any improvements you might have thought of
iii) and TELL THEM YOU LOOK FORWARD TO THEM ADDING NXT AND THE FIAT EXCHAGNES THEY WILL BE ADDING. This will encourage you to move even more cash into hitbtc.

The vote is becoming a side show now so now we need to back it up with some genuine supportive action, I think we have made our point but just need to push it over the line with some personal attention

I know what you mean, I am beginning to suspect foul play   If you check the blackcoin thread on BCT and their Reddit, there is a deafening silence on promoting this. Yet their tally has increased 30% in 4 hours...

Anon, could you include a link in the Asset description with a realtime NXT price for 1 oz silver? E.g. get a current price, divide by bitcoin-price, divide by nxt-price. Then display that. That would be great...

Paradigmflux changed his mind after the shutdown and reopened the pool. I'm having my pods running at hashrate.org the second week now after the reopening. Every few days it seems to get stuck though for a few hours, so better to use a backup pool. But I think that these problems will be resolved soon and as far as this is the only pool that pays out nxt, I will continue to hash there! 😄

Nothing is official, but before posting in the poll thread, please read the first post of the thread. As damelon said, you can see this process as a game.

You can suggest new slogan that will be added on a next poll. But, in order to be listed on the next poll, you must read the rules which are given in the first post. Otherwise your slogan might only be considered as a brainstorming idea.

e-Gold had a similar fee to convert from bullion to e-gold (bailment) and then back from e-gold to bullion (redemtion).

I consider e-gold the first real digital currency. It's a shame it failed.
