But already 1,000,000,000 are mined. So it seems quiet strange to me.

Read more about proof-of-stake currencies. This is the 1st 100% PoS coin.

Edit: http://bitcoinmagazine.com/6528/ gives a good overview.

Great prices on nxt over at www.dgex.com atm people sellng at stupidly low prices get em quick

Actually it's good. More people will get chance to acquire NXTs.

i hear from NXT today the first time, never saw it on cryptocoincharts.info or an Altcoin exchange like Cryptsy,Bter or Coins-e.
Just saw it because coinmarketcap.com listed it today.

Ever heard of Mastercoin AND/OR Ripple?
If not you have a lot to learn yet - it is your ignorance not Next's fault.
I am not attacking you, I don't use English well Wink

that is not correct, in germany 1 billion is 1.000.000.000.000
(1000 times more worth than american billions. in germany american billions are equal to the word "milliarde")
Very interesting info!
In russian we use word "milliard" (I think it's deutsch influence), but than we use trillion and so on as in "short scale".
Probably one more note for first post.

is it american billions? = 1.000.000.000 is this correct?
There's no american or russian billions Smiley
In some languages we just speak another word, but billion is billion = 1.000.000.000

so when even a smart phone can mine, which factor decides how much coins the miner get (random? all miners are equal?)
The more coins you have, the more probability you have to mine the block.

So what about the premine?
Think just... it's not a premine, it's like bitcoin will be in year 2040 or so, when there will be no "coinbase" transactions, only fees.

that is not correct, in germany 1 billion is 1.000.000.000.000

see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_and_short_scales

So the overall coin amount gives a higher percentage to find a block, how is this percentage scaled, linear or logarythmic?
For example i have 10.000 NXT (%=?) or when i have 1.000.000 (%=?)

Premine can't be figured out "just by thinking" usually a proof is served by the founder of the coin  Smiley

Hmm, is this mining ratio accurate?

I see the footnote, but surely it's not 0...right?

I should say the great NxT Block Explorer!

It's not based on/forked from BBE, ABE or blockexplore, blockchain.info, but a new brand explorer.

It goes here: http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=10

However, I do suggest change the last column(Generator)'s color, don't be the same color of the second column.

Version 0.3.8 - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67242472/nxt.zip

Rewritten web interface networking.

Now HTTP & HTTPS can be used (http://localhost:7874 & https://localhost:7875). The latter is preferable if u use "online" wallet. Browsers will show warning coz TLS certificate is self-signed, try to add it into the certificate vault to get rid of the warning.

Where is the online wallet? It's not working.

http://localhost:7874  or https://localhost:7875

That's not the online wallet.

The question was a bit vague... however you're free to actually answer the question how you interpret it  Tongue
