This is what I see as a bubble-free project that is completely undervalued, but if all the coins are down, the byteball will definitely fall

Sooner or later the price reach at the bottom and then will raise for a long time. I would say the bottom was reached at the beginning of december

I just read, Telegram (Pawel Durow) plans own ICO and currency. Huh
I wonder why everyone try to cook his own soup. That's pointless - weak lone fighters (like Rambo) only win in movies.

Why they not use byteball? (fair distribution, well-established on the market, great backing in the community, first-class technical potential, proven,
flexible, scalable like hell) and telegram with tons of users (or Yandex still in the boat). This is a clear WIN - WIN situation.

Collaboration and strategic partnerships seem to be a no-go in this business - everybody trys to create his own Supercoin.
In the end, the established system wins and the youngsters will scalped by the established big players (i.a. PayPal).

Something new and powerful emerges, when many cooperate, then the whole is suddenly more than its constituent parts (like the Internet, like every living thing).
Imagine that every dotcom company had tried to develop its proprietary protocol - crazy.

Possibly everything has to be burned down first, so that the wheat is separated from the chaff .. Cool

Just made a sizable investment in Byteball...

There isn't much time left to buy.

Good choice, there is not enough GBYTE for everyone, only 1 million.

Byteball is doing great by delivering new features all the time. One issue which still should absolutely be handled is the fact that android multisig wallets have serious problems of synchronization, especially of blackbytes. This must be solved.

What?! How can you restore wallet addresses without both the database and the private key (aka the wallet seed). This would be a security issue.

Hint:  He said the rest of the files were there.   (He did not have a backup and only the sql file was gone).
OK got it, I had forgotten that debate. We should heavily recommend that users always set a password for their wallet (except in this specific - but rather unlikely - case).

I triedwith the old version of the wallet and I had the error message that the wallet was to a wrong version, not up to date.
Ok : I de the update to the new version of the wallet.
And now I have the message "This textcoin was already claimed",

I not receive anything... :-(.

Because it  "was already claimed".    To reword it for you.... It was already claimed, or,     someone got to it before you did.  You were too slow.

I made the update of the wallet to the new 2.0 version.
All is working fine but I have a message o the launch of the wallet about my profile is coming from a newer version of NW.js and I have to change my profile directory (?) or using a more recent version of NW.js.
I had this kinf of message with my previous version of the wallet.
I use Ubuntu 14.04 (up to date).

You could do a simple internet search (via google or other favorite search engine) or even on bitcointalk.org to find a simple fix.
I'll get it for you......

Linux users who upgrade from 1.10.0 will have to delete all files (but not subdirectories!) in ~/.config/byteball/Default in order to get rid of the annoying (but harmless) popup about profile format.  This is because we had to revert to an older version of nwjs to address one issue https://github.com/byteball/byteball/issues/201.  Backup before deleting.

Mac and Linux users please upgrade.

That will fix it for you.
Thank you very much : all is fine now, no more error message.
You are very hepfull :-).

Why the next Airdrop scheduled for Mar 2, 2018? It was every month before.
Will this be the last round with 100% distribution or what's the difference?

Because he decided to change it in order to get more people actually interested in the crypto instead of those just wanting to stand in the welfare line to dump it.
No, it will not be the last distribution.  The rate is the same as the last one.

hi, quick question is it possible to restore the wallet without seed and backup-files if byteball.sqlite file was deleted?? all other files are fine

No

Actually, yes, it is.  (You may contact me directly.)
But, what fool would not make a backup AND delete the sql file?

This time support was real even after most difficult moments for markets as whole the change in value isn't that much. It will be over soon and I was looking for next distribution someone already told above on 2nd March will be next. I will see about this whether it is confirmed or not yet.

You need to be faster!

The text-coin system is better understood with this analogy: "look at this note! and catch it!". More explained, once the initial transaction is confirmed by the witnesses, the first to claim it is the one who receives those bytes. This system is absolutely fantastic, never seen in the crypto world (AFAIK) and a real top level case of use.

Hopefully this feature could be implemented with blackbytes too.

Ok, thank you for the explanation :-).
