99-run stand between Shai Hope and Rutherford was very helpful for the team and for the win. I think the Warner Park wicket was quite helpful for batting as Bangladesh scored 294 runs. In reply West Indies won by 5 wickets and I have to commend the batsmen for being very patient. West Indies were under some pressure at the beginning at 27 for 2 in 8.1 overs but Shai Hope handled the situation very well and he played a great innings of 86 runs off 88 balls. Sherfane Rutherford's innings of 113 runs off 80 balls was the man of the match. However I think Bangladesh played well and were able to challenge for a big run but their luck was not in their favour and if they could have broken the 99-run stand, they might have won the first ODI. Anyway the performance of both the teams was very good and I am hopeful that the upcoming matches can be more competitive.

After getting the test match series draw, the Bangladesh team started the ODI series against Bangladesh with a win. It is always good to beat West Indies in their home ground and yesterday Bangladesh celebrated the win at Basseterre.

It is very likely that Bangladesh will not be able to win the target of 295 runs due to being a batting friendly pitch. But comparatively, Bangladesh has performed quite well in today's match but I feel that if you have to score a big score on this pitch, it will be very difficult to win if you score below 300 runs on this batting friendly pitch. West Indies still have to score 80 runs in 10 overs but this run will definitely not be a difficult task for the hard hitter performance of West Indies batsmen.

Even then the West Indies Team lose their one of biggest wicket recently Shai Hope, I thought he will make the century today but Mehidy Hasan Miraz dis outstanding. Anyway they were currently increasing their Runrate, Now West Indies need 83 runs from 60 balls which is nothing impossible although they have more 6 wickets. Shai Hope and made a big partnership and in the last 5over they took over 9runrate. And here they recover them on the match and I am thinking that maybe I loose the fund. Cry

Well to be honest when Bangladesh beat one of high rating team of the tournament Pakistan in semifinals at that time I got abit idea of how well potential that have, especially thier bowling lineup and I think that's some how indication of Bangladesh future in safe hands. While against Indian team In finals things were completely going In favor of Indian team because Bangladesh while batting first hardly scored 190 around which isn't looking messy as they have several quality batter but when it come to chase Bangladesh bowling lineup once again show thier true colors and without any trouble get the rest of thier lineup with a decent margin and thus become champions of asian u19.
