You are also right that the Indian women team was much stronger team from West Indies women team even then recently they were in struggle with the Australian women team.
But they recovered themselves in this West Indies series. Also shouldn't forget that Indian women team is on 3rd rank of ICC women T20I team ranking and on the others hand were in sixth position. So the performance was expected from the Indian women team but what I recently notice that Indian women team batting line was going for more better day by day. Or I don't know they did this specially for the West Indies women team.

Vijay Hazare Trophy has big problem too many teams are playing. With 38 teams matches might not be as exciting and it will be hard for selectors to find best players. Good idea could be to have smaller tournament with zones, and then have state level games. This way matches will be more competitive and there will be fewer teams and it will be easier to find new talent. BCCI should think about changing tournament to focus on quality instead of having so many teams.

The main reason for this is that they have built such a strong and good standard by working hard and playing well that everyone says it is a strong and good team. India Women won by 115 runs Against their opponent West Indies Women yesterday in second ODI match and through this winning, they won the series already. INDW is one of the stronger team in cricket, made 358/5 runs where their both openers batsman Smriti Mandhana(53) and Pratika Rawal(76) were ensure their half century and Harleen Deol(115) showed her legendary performance and dedicated an excellent century for her team. Rest of players played well specially Jemimah Rodrigues came back on her track again. On the other hand, we have seen a good development in west indies women team batting performance, where they score 243-10 runs which was more than hundred runs in comparison of previous match. The reason behind this is simple, Hayley Matthews(106) was a game changer here. She did century alone when no single half century came from their squad. Rest of players did poor performance ever which made them lost the match. The day after tomorrow, both team will face themselves once again and The hot topic will be whether India Women can whitewash West Indies women or not

Yes I also believe that India women squad is a strong opponent but compare to Australia women squad sometime they seem weak if you see Indian women squad in previous competitions with Australia women squad they faced many big defeat and this time Indian squad seem weak but in this ODI format competition with West indies women squad. They always look strong from start match to this second one day match which was finished yesterday 24 December. This match Indian women squad emerged victory by big leading scores 358 and this scores was so huge in number and ladies side, I think only Australia women squad chase this scores. West indies women achieved 243 scores and all their batters lost their wickets. India women squad have a good opportunity to whitewash West indies squad one more time in one day competition they already Whitewashed in T20 format competition.
