Here in ODI series we have few unwanted records for the Abdullah Sahfique as he registered three ducks in three matches this is only first time happen with any Pakistani opener, and he also breaks the record of Imran Nazir ducks in calendar year which he created 2000 after having 6 ducks 32 matches in single year now his tally is 7 in 21 matches narrowly escape world record which is jointly held by Herschelle Gibbs 2002 and Tillakaratne Dilshan 2012 with 8 ducks.

I don't think this opening pair of Abdullah Shafique and Saim Ayub is best for the Pakistan team. Abdullah Shafique had a disappointing performance in the ODI format. He didn't score in the series against South Africa. He got out in the same style in all three matches and their average was just 32 runs in 22 ODI innings. Pakistan team selectors should include Fakhar Zaman in playing XI, and the opening pair of Saim Ayub and Fakhar Zaman is wonderful. If this happens, then Pakistan will beat any team in the world. Fakhar Zaman is one of those players who changed the match single-handedly, and the Pakistan team needs a power hitter bastman in the team. Fakhar Zaman got the nine time man of the match award and won the match with the Pakistan team with his batting performance in the ODI format. Pakistan selectors should replace Abdullah Shafique with Fakhar Zaman before the start champion trophy.

Yes, the two perfect batsmen for Pakistan, Saim Ayub and Shafique, if their opening pair survives, they can collect quite a good score. Siam Ayub has played only nine matches in his career where he has scored three centuries including two centuries against South Africa. One thing is clear that he bats very aggressively where if an opener plays such an aggressive innings then surely there is a possibility of doing something positive for the team.

Pakistan has had different openers at different times but a reliable attacking opener is what Pakistan needs right now but Saim Ayub is trying to fill that spot and if that is possible then surely his career will be brighter in future.

Saim Ayub is no doubt a good talented boy but are you forgetting the legend Baber Azam. Just a wait of Babar Azam good game and whenever he played just average, he used to broke many record such as in the previous game by scoring around 70 he broke the record of MS Dhoni of scoring the most fifty's against SENA teams.

SENA teams are South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia. MS Dhoni had 38 fifty's against these teams and now Babar Azam got his place by scoring 39 fifty's and after yesterday's match, he get one more fifty and now his number is 40, just a wait of good game then he can broke any player record. By the way before some days, he also broke Sachin Tendulkar record of scoring fastest 100 in Asia.

It's true he really give Pakistan a huge bunch of confidence in batting lineup and through his ordinary performance Pakistan some how get that important victories but I will not only credit saim because everyone does his job ordinary like baber , Rizwan and later in middle order they way both Salman and tayyab took the inning and scored more than 100 in last 10 overs was phenomenal while on the other hand the bowling sensation sufyan was on fire. Anyway after that important victories Pakistan become first ever team to white wash south African in thier home ground at ODI format. Now it will be interesting how they continue thier performance in test series, I think after back to back failure Abdullah should take rest and include imam , fakhar or Shakeel to make sure things goes ok

Pakistan won the series by winning three matches in a row, this season and in this ODI series, the performance of every player of the Pakistan team was very aggressive. Every bowler including Sufian Muqeem performed well, the ball swung as soon as it entered the ground and went against the batting of the South African team, due to which the batting failed to score good runs.
Among the top batsmen of the Pakistan team, Shafiq and Kamran Ghulam, these two batsmen did not perform well, they were out as soon as they came to the crease.
