I think Sri Lanka could not bring much change in their performance rather India performed very badly that's why Sri Lanka's performance is highlighted. If you notice, you will see that the runs that India managed to score in one innings in the T20 series, the batsmen of Team India failed to score in the second T20 match in the ODI series. I would have agreed with you if Sri Lanka could have set a big target but they were stuck in limited runs and India failed to win chasing that easy target. We did not notice a good performance from India in the first ODI match even though they managed to draw that match now Indian fans and Indian cricketers have to look forward to the third and final ODI match. If the third ODI match is a draw or India lose for any reason then they will lose the series so the third ODI match must be taken seriously.
Yeah I agree, Sri Lankan are playing with their quality and things are on same level, but sadly we are having drop into Indian performance as their batting order is having some disturbance just because of this we are having things like these in last two games where they are suffering badly.Change of format is also having impact on few player's performance but here we are also having some experiment form the selectors as their main target is Champions Trophy which is coming after few months so they are having some changes, but sadly things are not working as they were expecting so hopefully after this series we will have few more changes from them and team’s moral will be back, and they will be able to perform as we have from them in last ODI World Cup where India lost final against Australia.

There was 1 day rest period between first two and in latter 2 is 2 day rest period, I don't think it's that long, rather I feel they should have kept 2 day rest between first two too.
Why do the teams need two days rest period after playing an ODI match? It is not that hectic and all the players should have the fitness to play back to back ODI matches. One day of rest between each match is enough in today's world.
Yeah if there is any upcoming weekend, then the match can be scheduled in a way that it happens on Sunday or on holiday to get more crowds in, but even after the 2 day break, we will have the match on Wednesday, a working day.

Change of game of Sri Lankan team It really made the audience very happy with their bowling performance in ODI matches which was excellent. Sri Lanka beat India in the second ODI and lead the series. India lost all their wickets to meet the target of 240 runs, and Sri Lanka won by 32 runs. However, although every batsman of the Indian team could not bat well, the team lost very quickly due to the fall of their wickets. The Sri Lankan team's bowling performance was outstanding Jeffrey Vandersay he got 6 wickets, Charith Asalanka he got 3 wickets, both of them dominated the game for Sri Lanka. But Indian batsmen only Rohit Sharma and Axar Patel batted a bit better, all the other batsmen could score more runs. If every batsman of the Indian team could have batted well then there was definitely a chance to win, but the Indian batsmen could not stand up to the bowling of the Sri Lankan team due to which they lost.

But the Sri Lankan team has performed well in the two ODIs due to the captain taking the right decisions, batting at the right time and controlling the bowling. So considering this aspect I can say that Indian team captain Rohit Sharma is failing to lead well.

I don't understand why a batsman like Kl Rahul was dropped at number 7. In both the ODI matches, we saw poor performances from India. And both the Indian openers performed well in both the matches. Indian management should make changes in their squad. Every player in this squad is talented, but the batsmen are not in good form. Also, I don't think it is the right decision to drop Kl Rahul to the seventh position. He is not a finisher. Rahul should be placed fourth.

Between this series and the Champions Trophy, Indians are playing a handful of ODI, guess 6 ODIs before this SL's series kicked in. So, it's alright if they do some experiments. Also, the Match situation matters and a recent change came when the team needed a left-right combination.
That's right, winning the Sri Lankan team match against India is a big achievement for the Sri Lankan team. From the matches of this ODI series, it can be seen that the players of the Sri Lankan team have improved their game a bit. So far in this ODI series we have seen 2 matches played where in both the matches Sri Lankan team put up a tough fight against India. There is still one more match left in this series. Now if the Sri Lankan team players can maintain their consistency in the upcoming match. Then the Sri Lankan team can create a chance to win this series against India. But in my opinion Sri Lanka team needs to be very conscious and hardworking to win this series against a strong team like India.

Yes it has to be admitted that the Sri Lankan team has performed well in their ODI series and the great performance they showed against India was really interesting. India's batting performance is not so good at present, losing every ODI match against Sri Lanka due to poor batting. However, Sri Lanka's brilliant bowling performance in the two ODI matches made their win against India possible. However, I think all in all the Sri Lankan team is currently performing well, but India's game is not improving and India must play well in the third match. If India loses the third ODI match then it will definitely drop and Sri Lanka will win the series, so India need to improve their batting.
One of the reasons for India's loss in this match was poor batting performance, four batsmen in Virat Kohli, Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dube got out for less runs each. Because their batting performance was very poor in the second ODI match, if India team wants to win in the third ODI match, they must perform well in terms of bowling and batting.
