I think it happened because India was just not ready for the Sri Lankan bowler vandersay. I think that’s why India actually lost. Pretty sure India did not see much of him earlier. That’s why India was unable to get ready against him. But at the same time the way some of the players of India actually got out was absolutely incredible. It was looking like they were unable to pick up straight balls. Playing the wrong line got them out multiple times. By no means this was a big target for India. Yes, there is a debate about this in social media and no one is clear about it. ICC rules clearly say that the match that is tied, the result can be concluded through Super over but some are saying that this rule was ammended by the ICC after getting the mutual understanding from both teams.

It was just one slip, this doesn't mean the team is incapable of performing and remember their two best bowlers are not being part of this series as well. This is just experiment from team management or coach for approaching further.

The only bad choice was not having another opener the reason is internal politics if I am not wrong and they just took the match for granted. I bet the next match team India will bulldoze SL for sure.

Your statement is not correct about this game because Indian bowlers done good job and restricted Sri Lanka on good score once I was having mind they will be done again on 215 to 220, but seventh wicket partnership allow Sri Lanka to have good target of 250 but still this was not hard job as we have Indian best batting line-up but sadly due to poor batting effort and impressive bowling from the veteran Jeffrey Vandersay allow Sri Lanka to have first won in last three years.

SL batted really well too and 240+ is just above par score on this pitch mean their batters did everything possible to get over the line and then let their bowlers to take over from their.

India didn't read the pitches well that's why too many LBW.

In the next match I wanted them to go with one man seam attack and can bring in Riyan parag who can spin as well so their batting depth can extend upto no 9.
