I agree as India is having good batting order, we can expect them good fight despite having problems but in this game they surrender and lost the game by big margin which was not expected because start of their chase was also impressive because we have another half century from the hitman Rohit Sharma and openers gave 97 runs stand.

Batting from the Sri Lankan were also not good but 7th wicket stand between Dunith Wellalage and Kamindu Mendis bring their game in good intention because Indian bowlers were on rampage and having good performance which not allowed Sri Lankan to play freely. Indian chase badly hit by career best figures of 34 years old Jeffrey Vandersay who having 27 wickets from his 22 games but achieve impressive success in this game with the figure of 6 for 33 as he is having this spot due to absence of Wanindu Hasaranga but give his team most wanted win.

Yes, Sri Lanka impressive comeback in the ODI Series and won the second match. in the first match they tied the match that was India winning. in first match India needed only one run in the last three overs and Sri Lanka spin bowler picked two consecutive wickets to tie the first match and won the second match outstanding and won the series. In my opinion one of the reasons for winning is that Sri Lanka Spin bowling attack is very strong and especially in ODI cricket Sri lanka spin bowling attack is best. if we look at this match nine wickets were taken by the spinner. After India thrashing SL in t20 series, I doubt anyone expected SL to comeback like this, but gotta love the way this odi series turned out.

Axar's six over the extra covers, one of best shots from him IMO, and a great catch from Asalanka to dismiss him, overall good fielding from SL in this game.

Lastly, what a day for Wandersay (6/33), I looked at scorecard yesterday, India had lost 6 wickets, and then I scroll down and see that all wickets were to Wandersay, I was like Shocked

Team India drew against Sri Lanka in the first ODI but expectations were high that Team India would win the second match and I was in favor of Team India winning but Team India disappointed in the second ODI too. It cannot be said that Sri Lanka scored too many runs in the first innings as they failed to score 250 plus runs. Team India got all out by 208 runs where the target was 241 runs. I feel that the ODI series team is stronger than the T20 team, so they had more chances to win this ODI series, but I don't understand why they are not able to win. They have nothing to gain in this series only by winning the third ODI match they can level this series. Now let's see if they can take the third ODI match in their favour. Exactly, no one was thinking that SriLanka will win the match from this series. Because they performed a little bad in T20I series. But in the ODI series they just surprised everyone. Firstly in the first match they played really well. But unfortunately that match tied and no team win the match.
But in the second match SriLankan team played really well. They made 240 runs in their inning and restricted the Indian team at 208 runs and all team got out and SriLanka won the match by 32 runs. Here I appreciate the bowling of the SriLankan team. Because only two bowlers destroyed the whole team of India. First one in Jeffrey Vandersay who collected 6 wickets and second one in Charith Asalanka who collected 3 wickets. Means overall performance of SriLanka team was great. I appreciate on their win.

SiriLankan played really well and scored a decent target while batting in second match of the odi series, while batting first scored 240 target which isn't much but enough abit for them to defend against Indian lineup, it's true that none of SiriLankan scored huge single handedly like half century or something amove that but still they mange to scored a magnificent Target and compared to them Indian were looking under huge pressure while just chasing that required target, just Rohit try to add his hundred percent while after that just Patel try to put his team in revival mode but as soon as they lost their wicket thier opponent start to get dominance over them and now they required 60 around runs and lose his 7th wicket which isn't a positive indication for Indian team. In my mind one more wicket will determine the results but if they manage to build partnership then they have dozen of balls left while just required a small target so let's see how w.sundar safe his team

SL did exactly what they can do and played to their advantage instead of bowing down after seeing their T20 defeat that's what really made the change and it's a wakeup call for team India to not take any game for granted even though they are going to try trial and error method it should be done in more stable instead of just random changes and try to fit in players apart from their natural batting position.

Axar tried his best but rank turner pitch can't let him to complete.

In second ODI Sri lanka played first and made 240 runs brilliant batting by Srilanka team Avishka Fernando and Kamindu Mendis played 40 ,40 runs innings Indian bowlers could not put pressure on Sri lankan team. Congratulations Srilanka for winning the first game of Series. In second ODI Sri lanka played first and made 240 runs brilliant batting by Srilanka team Avishka Fernando and Kamindu Mendis played 40 ,40 runs innings Indian bowlers could not put pressure on Sri lankan team. India team failed to chase the target they scored only 208 runs the target was not big but indian team could not chase Rohit Sharma played 64 runs innings Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma played 97 runs partnership when they gone out no player from Indian team played could play long innings. Indian team lost wickets consistently, and pressure increased on the batting side. All credit goes to the Sri lanka bowlers who saved this target with an outstanding spell by Jeffrey Vandersay with 6 wickets. He destroyed India's batting line. If Indian team saved their wickets then the result will have been different because 241 runs target was not good Sri lanka team gave a brilliant performance and won this match by 32 runs

Despite not winning a single match in the T20 series, Sri Lanka's players performed very well in both the ODI series. In particular I would say that Wellalage's batting was excellent in both matches. Due to Wellalage's responsible batting, the Sri Lankan team was able to provide descent targets in both the matches. A target of 230+ is a big enough target on this pitch.

India lost today's match by 32 runs. After collecting 97 runs from the first wicket pair, no one probably expected India to lose this match. Apart from Rohit, Gill and AxarPatel, none of the batsmen in the squad can bat well. Despite having such a strong squad, India's performance is truly pathetic. A lot of gamblers like me lost their money betting on India to win.
