The Indian team wants to make their backup in bowling by giving chance to batsmen to bowl. As in the last match, Surya Kumar did the last over and defended good score then the Indian team won that one match. And today they tried the same with Shubman Gill but that was such a poor idea because that was the most expensive over in this innings. In today’s match, only Axar Patel has played well but now his 10th overs has done so now the pacers have to bowl and they are doing good.

The most expensive over was from Shubman Gill. He gave away 14 runs in his one over that he bowled.

Sri Lanka's batting was very slow from the start of their innings. I know the pitch is not completely batting friendly. However, Sri Lanka's batting was very weak. And right now the Sri Lankan players have managed to collect only 114 runs in 31 overs. And the more important thing is that the Sri Lankan team has already lost 5 wickets. Back in the 90s, they won the ODI World Cup and had legends such as Arjuna Ranatunga, Muttiah Muralitharan, Aravinda de Silva and Sanath Jayasuriya in their team. The big guns are back in the fold, but I don't like the fact that they removed Jaiswal since he is proving to be an all format beast these days.

India is definitely strong today against Sri Lanka in the first match of the ODI series. We saw India beat Sri Lanka badly in the t20 series and they won the same ODI series they might beat Sri Lanka too. The performance of the Sri Lankan team is not very good due to which they are constantly not able to perform well against India and win the matches. But I think if the Sri Lankan team can change them well in the ODIs then India's division might be able to fight. But India team is definitely strong now so in ODI series they will try hard to win the series, and India team is currently ahead so Srilanka will have to improve their game and fight against India.

In the Indian team, we are seeing very up and downs right now. In this series as we can see the full Indian team has the patience and also friendship, the biggest example of this is Gambhir and Virat Kohli had no fight in the net and if you know, in 2022 at IPL, how they both fought and this fight was started back in the may before 2017 or 2018 but now they both are in good terms.

Also even we can see in the commentary box, that always gautam gambhir targets to Virat Kohli and when Virat Kohli hits six or a boundary then there is no comment by him and but now every thing looks better.
