The Bangladesh women's team sometimes pulls off victories that seem unbelievable but sometimes loses in ways that are hard to accept. Yesterday's opponent Australia women's team batted first and gave the target of 214 runs to Bangladesh women's team, which is an easy target for other teams, but it is a difficult target for Bangladesh. Moreover, Bangladesh targeted this run under nervous pressure and was bowled out for only 95 runsdone In other words, Bangladesh could not take the easy target too easily, but fell under pressure and got all out for 95 runs and lost by a big margin of 118 runs. In fact, the Bangladesh team lacked confidence in the team and especially with three batsmen being run out, that target became more difficult and eventually Bangladesh were bowled out for 95 runs.

Be it the men's team or the women's team. Growth of Bangladeshi team is hampered by the fact that they doesn't have a proper first class structure. They received the test status almost 25 years ago. And all these years, the BCB didn't found it important enough to set up a proper first class competition. What they have is a Dhaka based system where clubs play against each other. Whenever there is a suggestion to spread cricket beyond the capital city, Dhaka based clubs raise objection and sabotage the proposal.

You are right Australia women score a decent score and Bangladesh women are under pressure for chasing down this huge total. Australia women top performer Alana King for outstanding All-around performance scored 46 runs unbeaten from just 31 balls missed his fifty by just 4 runs but they batted well and also picked one important wicket by giving only 12 runs and won the match for his team. Bangladesh women need to bat first in second ODI if they win the match because otherwise its very difficult to beat Australia women team in this format.

I don't think Australia women team could score too many runs in the first ODI against Bangladesh. 200 plus runs can be a very easy score in ODI cricket but Bangladesh team failed to cross this score due to their lack of experience. Just like Australia women's team scored 200 plus runs, if Bangladesh women's team scored 200 plus runs then maybe Australia women's team would have won easily.

Bangladeshi women doesn't have much experience against quality sides such as Australia and England. Against these teams, you need to remember that they make very little fielding mistakes. All that said, today the Bangladeshi batting was pathetic. Not a single batter could manage a score above 30. Nigar Sultana's 27 was the top score for Bangladesh. They were 70/2 when Sobhana Mostary and Nigar Sultana were at the crease. They lost remaining 8 wickets for just 25 runs. Alana King was unplayable and returned figures of 10-3-12-1.
Yes You are right experience matter alot Bangladesh women has not have as much experience as the Australia team. In the first ODI at one stage Bangladesh women are in a winning position but they lost quick wickets and put pressure on all the other batters and sadly they All out in just 95 runs. Australia women win match by a huge lead against Bangladesh women by 118 runs and led the series by 1-0. I hope Bangladesh women come back in the second match they should improve their batting performance.

Yesterday we saw a sided match for Australian women. They picked all the wickets of Bangladesh women's team batsmen at just the runs of 95 within 36 overs. It is too many overs but their bowling spell was such a good spell at yesterday's night when their bowlers took the wickets of Bangladeshi batsmen back to back.

Yesterday three wickets fell because of the run out that helped in a very good way for Australian women and yesterday they had a match on their home ground. They started with a loss in the ODI at the start of the series. Now they would be even more doubtful for the next matches whereas the Australian women's team are even more confident not only because they won this match but because they had the most trophies in the world of women's cricket.

Australia women team has talented and good batsman and bowling or all-rounder as Bangladesh women team has no talented or good player. If the Bangladesh women's team is to improve their game of cricket then they need to play regular series against big teams so that their experience increases.Even if they lose every match when they play regular series against big teams, their experience will gradually increase.

I think the decision of the Bangladesh women's team was not correct when they won the toss and decided to bowl first. If the Bangladesh captain had won the toss and decided to bowling first, they would have given Australia a big run target by batting first but if the Bangladesh bowlers could have controlled the bowling they would have won the match but the game would have been competitive. Of course Australia women are much stronger than Bangladesh so I think the decision to bowl first against them was wrong. Bangladesh women's team defeated by 118 runs against the Australia women's team.

After choosing bowl first they thought it would help them win but it did not work out. Australia team is good at batting and playing aggressively. Bangladesh wanted to stop them from scoring lot of runs by bowling first. But it did not go as they planned and Bangladesh lost the match. Both teams made mistakes but Australia better skills and experience helped them to win. When Australia lost 6 wickets at 112 runs was thinking they will make almost 150 runs but they played really well and made 213 runs. But Bangladesh made only 95 runs with all team out. By the way that was the first ODI 2 are remaining yet so let's see Bangladesh will make a comeback or not.

If the girls of Bangladesh had won, everything would have been perfect. At one time the commentators were saying that Bangladesh girls were in a driving position but from that position Bangladesh girls lost wickets quickly and as a result they lost the match. There is no doubt that Australia's women's team is much stronger than Bangladesh's women's team, but the way Bangladesh held Australia's women's team, if they could have kept the pressure until the end, then maybe the result of the match would have been in Bangladesh's favor. The way Bangladesh lost wickets in the first match, it can be said very well that they will not be able to come back very well in the second match.

I stand with Palestine.
I think the results were expected from start of the series so no one should be shocked and surprised because just like every where in men and woman cricket Australian have shown thier dominance and to be honest they will give you a very small chance to win against them as they always stick with Thier tactics. Anyway if we have a look at score board Bangladesh done quite well especially at start of the match by sending thier top order to the pavilion before they make some handsome runs later some of thier middle order and lower middle order really hit them hard and through thier contribution they scored a decent defendable target. Now when it come to Bangladesh bat they give a decent start but unable to continue his momentum and later they way they middle order collapse were quite disappointed because they can play an important role while chasing but unfortunately unable to done his job properly and thus lose the match. Still Bangladesh has a chance to comback and show thier dominance
Yes of course Australian women cricket team was expected to win this series because they are very good at cricket. But we should also recognize efforts of Bangladesh team especially their top and middle order batsmen who did well. Even though they struggled in middle of game they can still improve and do better in future. We should not underestimate Bangladesh team and should give them credit for their hard work.

Yes, it is true that Bangladesh women's team does not have that much experience like England and Australia women's team players. See England and Australia female players but they play in different leagues due to which they have a lot of experience whereas in Bangladesh women's team they don't get so many opportunities to play in different leagues. Check out the batting performance of each player of Bangladesh Women's team today which is full of frustration and inexperience.

Bangladesh Women's batsmen were in a complete batting disaster today as their opening batsman got out for 0 runs which made them even more vulnerable. Looking at the performance of the Bangladesh women's team, it seems that they will not be able to win a single match against Australia.

Yes, the performance was dreadful from Bangladesh women's team. And if they do not improve, they are definitely not going to win a single match. Bangladesh has to realize that they do not have the muscle power that like Australian women's team have. Bangladesh women's team is literally inferior in terms of physical strength compared to Australian women's team. So they will have to rely on their skills. And also a game plan. If these two things are not good, they are not going to win.

By the way, did you guys see the situation of the field? It looked like it was a really bad field to play cricket. Lots of lapses in the field happened I think because of the uneven nature of the outfield. And the pitch was also not very good.

Australia Women's team defeated Bangladesh Women's team by a huge margin of 118 runs in the first ODI between Bangladesh and Australia Women's team in the ICC Champions Trophy. Batting disaster right from the start, Bangladesh Women's team was bowled out for just 95 runs with consistent fall of wickets. Nigar Sultana has managed to collect the maximum 27 runs among the players of Bangladesh women's team, moreover, none of the other batters have scored any significant score.

Both the men's and women team of Australia are the best in cricket and they are considered the father of cricket. And in this match see how badly Australia defeated the Bangladeshi team by dismissing the entire team for 95 runs.
You're right, I believe that only England team can be considered as a good competing team against Australia. England's men and women both teams are quite good in performance and they can give tough game to Australian team. Other than England I don't think that any other team is good enough to compete team Australia.
I think if there is a team to beat Australia this time it is India . After the 2023 ICC world Cup, India will have improved their performance considerably. Now they are ready to give a strong fight against Australia. Now let,s see how team India shows their skills in the match against Australia. Because until these two team are compared to each other no one can say anything. This competition will bring a new level of passion for cricket lovers.

I think the local broadcaster already has all the rights, after all even FAN CODE bought their home game for the Indian market.

It's just that the Bangladeshi broadcaster (Main provider of feed) keeps failing to strike a deal with Australian broadcasters like FOXTEL or SEVEN Network and even for the English market (SKY, etc). This could happen due to incompetency, foreign broadcasters don't want to pay much, or maybe Bangladeshi providers are asking for too much money.

Yeah, I agree with you. There must be something wrong with the main provider of feed. Or this issue would not have persisted in the men’s side of cricket at the very least. A few years back when Australia and New Zealand came to Bangladesh, they had not been able to sign a deal with Australian media or New Zealand’s media channels.

The possible reasons for this could be many, but they need to solve it as soon as possible. Because this might hold the Bangladesh team back in the future from getting to play with teams like Australia and New Zealand in the future. Playing this bilateral series are too important for a growing team like Bangladesh.
Not aware if it happened with New Zealand too but yeah, in recent tours it happened with Australia and England.

Now i think of it, the latter 2 cricket boards (CA, ECB) hardly host Bangladesh and rarely travel there for bilateral. When 2 teams rarely play/ not traveling each other regularly then it's hard for broadcasters to sign a long-term deal because Usually, broadcasters buy a full package (Home series Men + Women) and negotiations can go south for one-off series because both parties want to squeeze each other for an extra penny.

The sad affair of Women's cricket continues. Not sure if anyone is aware of that but this Bangladesh W vs Australia W didn't attract any broadcasters.

It's not the first time Ban vs Aus series messed up due to no broadcasters and I don't know who's at fault here BCB providers or the Aussie broadcasters, but they ended up streaming the match on YouTube and possibly a full series. For Indian viewers, it's on FAN CODE because they had full media rights for Bong's home season.

I give partial blame to BCB. We have seen even in men’s cricket BCB were not able to attract any foreign broadcasters previously. Only the local broadcasters go to BCB because local people watch the game. That is why a part of the blame falls on BCB’s side which handles these broadcasting stuff.

But I think the rest of the thing has to do with popularity. Not many people, especially in Bangladesh, watch Women’s cricket. So it is not surprising to me that they could not even find a local broadcaster to show these games on Television. These will take time, especially in a country like Bangladesh.

The first problem is women's cricket do not generate a lot of viewers. Not a lot of revenue as well. So there has to be a balance between the amount which is being asked and the amount which they are ready to pay with the revenue that is being generated. If the money is not coming in, how are you going to pay enough money? And in general, it is also thought that Bangladesh women vs Australia women is going to be one-sided. So people are also far less interested in that. How would you generate money if people are not interested? But a percentage of the blame does go to BCB.

The funny think is what I actually expected from Bangladesh women team they really did more bad performance than my expectation. I knew before the start of the match that today's match was going to be a completely one-sided match and it just happened that Australia's women's team won in a completely uncontested match. But I want to make a mention if the Australian top order batsmen did not play very well today, they could have scored more than 300. I definitely want to say that Bangladesh women team is going to be whitewashed by Australia women team in this ODI series.

Gardner is the best player , she played very well in both side batting and Bowling she took 3 wickets by giving 22 run in 5 overs and batting side of A. Gardner she made 32 run in 38 ball , A. Gardner well contribute  to win the match and she was awarded as a player of the match .
