A fair amount of players have more than decent domestic careers and many of them are exposed to pressure situations for ex: IPL.

The opening partnership of Bangladesh A team was good. But after that, Bangladesh was not able to form any good partnership at all. There was also a lot of single-digit score from Bangladesh Batsmen in this innings. It is evidently clear that, in terms of strength, Bangladesh pales in comparison not only to the mighty Indian team but also falls short in consistency. On the other hand, India exhibited remarkable steadfastness throughout the match, as exemplified by the extraordinary bowling performances of its players who did not concede a single extra run. India was just too disciplined for Bangladesh to handle.

The opening partnership made everyone believe it is the match of Bangladesh and in between Indian bowlers gave a comeback moment and few catches from Nikhin Jose is really awesome. During the match we were able to see the heat between the two teams as Indian players were showing shouting on every wickets. If Bangladesh have won the match we could've got an opportunity to watch nagini dance.

Yeah.. I remember the world cup of 1999. That one was played in England, and the pitches offered zero support for the spinners. And Sri Lankan batsmen struggled against opposition seamers. They were the defending champions, but failed even to get to the semi-final stage. And I agree with you on Mahela and Dilshan. They were quality players back then. I would not be too harsh on the Lankans. Compared to India or Pakistan (or even Bangladesh), they have a smaller population from where they can extract the players. And the domestic championship is also not up to the mark in terms of quality.

When Bangladesh A team had 2 wickets for 102 runs, I thought maybe this match would be won by Bangladesh A team but after a while when I went to check the scores of Bangladesh and India A team, I was a bit surprised because Bangladesh lost 5 wickets in just 20 runs. Bangladesh got off to a flying start from the two openers but after the two openers got out the rest of the team's batsmen could not play with responsibility due to which an easy match was lost to Bangladesh. Bangladesh A team had a lot of chances to win this Asia Cup tournament if they could collect this easy target then they would have faced Pakistan in the final match. There was no exception in this match, ICC has not kept any review system in this tournament due to which the batsmen or bowlers have to take the decision of the umpire. A few decisions I saw went against Bangladesh.
Soumya Sarkar's dismissal seems a controversial decision to me. The umpire did not respond to the appeal of LBW at first but later when a catch was appealed the umpire called Soumya Sarkar out, Soumya Sarkar was claiming to the umpire that the ball did not hit the bat. Apart from this decision, we have seen some other decisions which have gone against Bangladesh. However, due to Bangladesh's extreme batting failure in the end, Bangladesh finally lost to India by fifty one runs.

This is unbelievable. From 69 without loss to 160 all out. Indian bowlers did an awesome job, especially Nishant Sindhu and Manav Suthar. This pair take eight wickets from Bangladesh. What can I say? Bangladesh showed a poor batting show after both openers got out. You won't understand the match condition just by speculating the scorecard. I watched some overs, and it seems the ball is unplayable. Batters were getting the benefit of the new ball. As soon as the ball got old, it gave the bowlers more turns. Congratulations, team India.

The performance of the Bangladesh A team today surprised me quite a bit. I knew the India A team was very strong. And thought the India A team would not face any hurdles in qualifying for the finals. But the bowlers of Bangladesh have done a great performance today. India's batting was very slow from the beginning of the innings. The team has given a target of only 212 runs in 50 overs.

Bangladesh's two openers got off to a good start, but very quickly Bangladesh lost 3 of their batsmen. After losing the first wicket for 70 runs, they lost the third wicket for 100 runs. Bangladesh collected 103 runs in 20 overs. Bangladesh needs only 109 runs to win in 30 overs. Bangladesh will win if they don't lose wickets too quickly. Bangladesh's batsmen should try their best to stay at the crease.

I will not say that Pakistan cannot do well in batting. They batted well enough. Pakistan's collection was only 138 runs in the first 25 overs. They scored 184 runs in the last 25 overs. An average, they scored around 7.3 runs per over. And Pakistan's collection was 81 runs in the last 10 overs. Pakistan batsmen collected more than 8 per over. I did not expect better batting from Pakistan.

Sri Lanka collected 250 runs in 42 overs. Sri Lanka needs 73 runs in 8 overs to win. Sri Lanka lost 6 wickets. That's why it's almost impossible for them to win this match. Sahan remains unbeaten with 94 runs off 104 balls. If he can play a smashing innings then maybe Sri Lanka will win. However, Sri Lanka's chances of winning are very low.
