England ended up at 334/8, which is a bit on the lower side when compared to the position they were after 32 overs. Josh Little was expensive today as well, and conceded more than 8 runs per over in this match as well. Craig Young was their best bowler, but the stupid Irish captain used him for only 7 overs. Their second best bowler was George Dockrell, who bowled just 8 overs. On the other hand, those who were wayward such as Josh Little and Barry McCarthy were allowed to complete their full quota of overs. I don't understand the strategy from Irish captain.

After 46 overs, England is at 300/6. Realistically we can expect somewhere around 350. Rehan Ahmed just got out now, and they are 300/7. Remaining batsmen are all tailenders (Tom Hartley, Matthew Potts and George Scrimshaw). Sam Hain is out there on 76 not out, but he is rapidly running out of partners. Anyway, England is at a very comfortable position. Ireland batsmen are in very poor form, especially Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie. Younger batsmen such as Curtis Campher, Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker are also not scoring runs.

Ireland winning the toss and decided to bowl first  was a good idea from Ireland because England lost their 5 wickets. The main players of England Salt and Jacks are also out.

Salt's performance was not good today but, Will Jacks's performance was good he scored 94 runs, he was too close to a century but unfortunately he couldn’t do 100 scores, but he scored very well, which was bad luck for Jacks. Ireland's bowling is very good, they take wickets of England’s amazing batsman but they also give too much score.

Again Bangladesh played better than expected. At one time, they were 131 for 3 wickets down only and it seems that if they batted well, they could reach a score of 300 runs but then the Bangladesh bowlers really bowled well and made them all out at 254 runs. The good is that all the Bangladesh bowlers took wickets while the most wickets come to Khaled Ahmed and Mahedi Hasan, both of them took three wickets each.

No, they did not play better than expected. Everything is done by the ground they are playing on. Mirpur Cricket Stadium is designed according to their needs. Bangladesh always build slow wicket to win against such teams. The wicket was bowling-friendly and terrible to bat. credit goes to the New Zealand batters that they could score 250+ runs on such a surface.

Bangladesh is experienced in such conditions which is why they play well at their ground. Now let's see who wins the match. Soumya sarkar got a chance and couldn't manage to score a single run. Bad luck. All eyes on Mahmudullah Riyad today.

Anyone watching the England vs Ireland match at Nottingham? England is looking very comfortable at 220/4 after 34.5 overs. Will Jacks missed his century, as he got out for 94, but still there is a chance that England may end up with somewhere around 360-380 after 50 overs. Josh Little has been proven expensive once again, as he has gone for close to 8 runs per over. Craig Young on the other hand was more than decent so far, with figures of 7-0-38-2. George Dockrell has been the best bowler for Ireland, picking up 3 wickets.

This series will be completely one sided as it is predicted earlier.  England team is very strong and they are in good form . We saw a very good performance from england's batsmen against New zealand.  Now it is natural that England's batsmen will perform better against Ireland's inexperienced bowlers.
England's collection of 300 runs in 46 overs. I guess England will be able to deliver the target between 345-355. England will win against Ireland by a big margin today. We will see England win by at least 150 runs today.

Bangladesh has bowled out New Zealand for 254 in the second ODI. Now, Bangladesh needs 254 runs to win and take the lead in the series. It's a good fighting total for this Mirpur pitch. Credit goes to the 95-run partnership between Tom Blundell and Henry Nicholls. Chasing won't be easy as New Zealand's bowling line-up is strong. Bangladeshi batters need to be careful.

In chasing the target, Tamim Iqbal is looking good at 19 not out but he needs support from other end too, in order to chase this target, which is not big but at the same time not a small one too. They are 34 for 1 in the 7.4 overs. Still a long time in this match left to see who will come out as a winner in the match.

Bangladesh scored 54 runs in the first 10 overs losing only one wicket. Opener Tamim Iqbal has returned to the team after a long time. And batting responsibly. Very slow batting at the beginning of the innings. But now he is playing well enough. Tamim is unbeaten with 35 runs off 36 balls. Tanzid collects 10 runs off 8 balls. He has been playing aggressively since the beginning. I doubt if he can stay at the crease for long.

The Bangladeshi bowlers were quite effective in the beginning. But New Zealand's bowlers are not doing very well so far. We have seen poor performance of New Zealand bowlers against England as well. And they are playing badly against Bangladesh. I have no expectations from the New Zealand team in the next World Cup.

Bangladesh vs New Zealand

After rain intercepted the play in the first ODI, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first in the second ODI. In 1st Odi New Zealand scored 136 runs in a loss of 5 wickets in 34 overs. Bangladesh are favourites to win this match but Rain spoiled the play. Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah are making a comeback for Bangladesh. The current score of New Zealand is 10 without losing any wickets in 2 overs. Finn Allen is playing aggressive cricket 10 runs unbeaten in just 5 balls. Bangladesh has quality fast bowlers and a good spin attack but they need early wickets and restrict New Zealand to under 250 runs then they have a good chance to win this match.
Today, Bangladesh bowled brilliantly from the start. Like the first match, Mustafizur Rahman bowled brilliantly today. So far Mustafizur Rahman has taken 2 wickets with 19 after bowling 5 overs. Bangladesh squad has been changed in today's match. Khaled Ahmed made his ODI debut today, picking up 1 wicket in the first over. Bangladesh's pace bowling is getting better today. So far New Zealand has scored 56 runs in 12 overs losing 3 wickets. Bangladesh will be far ahead to win the match today if they can get New Zealand all out before 250 runs.  Let's see how many runs New Zealand is able to give the target in the end.
Match looks quite interesting to watch and based on both teams performances in the second ODI I think Bangladesh performance better than New Zealand at this moment. New Zealand managed to score 106 run in 22 overs and losing 3 wickets. New Zealand is slowly moving ahead in the match. H. Nicholls and T. Blundell are currently at batting. H. Nicholls scored 38 runs in 51 ball and not out while T. Blundell also scored 37 run in 42 balls also not out. If this partnership continues for a long duration then New Zealand will successfully set a challenging target for Bangladesh team and also putting a lot of pressure on them.
New Zealand posted 254 runs in the loss of all wickets in 49.2 overs. A fighting knock from Tom Blundell comes to an end in 68 runs in 66 balls.I think Its a good total in this bowling support pitch. New Zealand.167 loss of 6 wickets in 34 overs after 254 runs tail-ender partnership between Ish Sodhu and Kyle Jamieson who scored 20 runs in 28 balls. Khaled Ahmed Bangladesh debt bowler bowled well picked 3 important wickets by giving 60 runs in 9.2 overs. Ish Sodhi was run out 17 runs at the non strikers end by Hasan Mahmud. The third umpire checked and gave OUT when Sodhi started walking out but Bangladesh skipper Litton Das and Hasan Mahmud called him back again. Sodhi hugged Hasan at the end and played a Crusial innings of 35 runs for New Zealand and helped him to cross 250 runs

New Zealand managed to set a huge target of 255 runs. I would call it a big target on this pitch. Because the pitch is quite bowling friendly. The bowlers are doing very well on this pitch. After New Zealand lost 7 wickets for 187 runs, I think the team will lose all wickets in 210. But Sodhi like Jamieson batted very responsibly today. 255 runs is a good enough target if the bowlers are able to bowl controlled. But I am not sure if the New Zealand bowlers will do well. Their performance against England was very poor.

4 wickets down and NZ is now in trouble, only 31 over remaining and NZ score is just above 150. Tom Blundell is playing aggressively and made his fifty. Ban captain should do something for this player otherwise target may goes up above 250.
For a moment it looked like New Zealand will not score anything above 200 runs as they were struggling with the bat and not able to build partnership but the lower order batsman helped them reach a decent total to defend against Bangladesh. Hopefully rain will not interrupt in this match and Bangladesh will be missing the service of Shakib Al Hasan, if not it is not an impossible total for Bangladesh to chase in their home ground.

Bangladeshi bowler really improve much more than our expectations, they done magnificent job in recent tournament like Asia Cup and still continue his moments here too, first they took quick early on important wickets which really bend the NewZeland batting line-up and due to bad start they unable to manage a good partnership which really effect thier Total target. Later some middle order batter mange a decent partnership but unable to hold it long.
Now NewZeland lose his 9 wickets by scoring 240 and we can expect they will score around 250 or above because still they have two over left while still Sodhi on a crease who can make something good for his team, at one stage NewZeland struggle alot because they lose much wicket below 200 but some significant partnership of Sodhi and Jamieson make things better. Hope Bangladesh will scored the required target if they hold wickets in hands in early starting overs.
Bangladesh bowlers really did bowl well .They have tight though the score was so fast at the beginning .The bowling coach Allan Donald was working on seam and and finally he got the result .We have seen in Asia cup now on New Zealand series as well .Now they have only one weak point which batting and if i specific the point is opening .Now they have Tamim Iqbal and Litton .I think they are now more stronger than Asia cup team .I think score isn’t so tough to chase .We know New Zealand also have strong bowling line up Trent Boult are there and also quicky Luckie Ferguson .We can see a good battle on 2nd innings .So let's enjoy the match.

NZ tail-enders are performing really well at the moment which could prove to be a big problem for Bongs who should have bundled them within 220 itself after breaking the Nicholls-Blundell partnership earlier.

Sodhi and Jamieson are stitching together what could possibly be a match-winning partnership.
The contribution from the tail end have made New Zealand reach 254 runs. Looking at the scorecard of New Zealand, almost every player have scored little runs except few players who lost their wickets scoring single digit runs. Considering the average score on the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, today's score from New Zealand is good to defend. However Bangladesh being the home team have got its advantage. There is not much of difference on the result based on the team batting first and second. On a small difference batting second have won Matches out of the 128 matches played. Lets see what Bangladesh gonna do.

New Zealand is not performing well in this ODI match today. Because of the bowling pressure of the players in the Bangladesh team, the fall of three wickets in the power play has kept the New Zealand team under pressure. With three wickets falling for 36 runs with the opening batsman, two New Zealand batsmen, Henry Nicholls and Tom Blundell, gave the New Zealand team a couple of runs. The New Zealand team is much ahead in this, but the Bangladesh team has performed very well in terms of bowling. If the Bangladesh team can protect the wicket and survive till the end, then there is definitely a chance to win. There are many experienced players in the squad for today's game which will surely get a win from the New Zealand team.

ireland vs England

The second ODI between Ireland and England has started. Ireland won the toss and decided to bowl first in the second ODI. Sam Hain, Jamie Smith, Tom Hartley and George Scrimshaw are making their debut for England in ODIs. England current score is 72 runs in a loss of 2 wickets after the first 10 over of powerplay. Will Jacks is playing at 38 runs not out in 31 balls. From England, 2 batters and two bowlers are making their ODI debuts for England in the second ODI against Ireland. Ireland bowlers bowled well and maintained pressure on England's batters especially Craig Young bowling outstanding picked 2 wickets by just giving 9 runs in 3 overs. Phil Salt scored 28 runs in 21 balls and Zak Crawley was out for a duck both wickets took by Craig Young. Ireland has a chance to win this match if they take 2 more wickets and restricted England under 200 runs.

The second match of ODI series is New Zealand Cricket Team vs Bangladesh Cricket Team. New Zealand cricket team won the toss and elected to bat first, New Zealand lost three wickets at the start of the game. New Zealand team batsman Finn Allen, Will Young, Chad Bowes none of them could play well.  These three players of the New Zealand team could not last long in the face of the Bangladesh cricket team's bowlers. But now Tom Blundell and Henry Nicholls at the crease have formed a great partnership between these two players. New Zealand cricket team's team score so far, 130 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 26 overs. If the pair of these two batsmen of the New Zealand team cannot be broken by the bowlers of the Bangladesh team, it is expected that New Zealand will be able to score big. But right now the weather in Bangladesh is very bad. Clouds are in the sky anytime rain can hamper this match as well. Now let's see what happens in the end

Bangladeshi bowlers are doing great job here. happy to see that Mustafizur is proving wickets taking bowlers in powerplay for Bangladesh which will be helpful to put early pressure. This type of consistency needed in world cup too. In previous match bangladesh bowling performance was good , now the main thing is to check the batting because NZ has also quality pace bowling and the main thing is how Bangladeshi batsmens chase target.

4 wickets down and NZ is now in trouble, only 31 over remaining and NZ score is just above 150. Tom Blundell is playing aggressively and made his fifty. Ban captain should do something for this player otherwise target may goes up above 250.
