After a poor performance by the Pakistan team in the T20 matches (at least I consider it was a poor show by the home team), this type of performance was needed by the Pakistani team to regain the confidence of the boys.

Congratulations to Pakistan for their outstanding performance in the first ODI beating New Zealand by 5 Wickets. The team excellent batting and bowling display helped them chase down a target of 289 runs with ease and secure a well deserved victory. the player of the match is Fakhar Zaman brilliant hundred in an inning of 117 runs in just 113 balls with the help of 13 fours and 1 Six Babar Azam's solid contribution played a crucial role in 49 runs in Pakistan successful run chase. Moreover, the contributions from Imam Ul Haq Fifty, Rizwan, and Nawaz ensured a comfortable win for the team. Naseem Shah excellent performance with the ball pick 2 wickets especially in the death overs. Overall it was a fantastic team effort. Also, Pakistan completed 500 ODI wins.

Pakistan Cricket Team beat New Zealand 1-0 in the first ODI match. Pakistan cricket team performed well both in batting and bowling. I hope Pakistan will play better in the upcoming matches. Pakistan cricket team players Babar Azam and Rezwan played a bit better but Fakir Azam performed brilliantly. Fakir Azam scored 117 runs off 114 balls. Pakistan team collected 196 runs losing only one wicket. I do not see the possibility of Pakistan losing this match. Babar Azam is batting with enough responsibility. Moreover, Rizwan is in good form. And the important thing is that the performance of the New Zealand bowlers is not good on this pitch.

Pakistan won today's match easily due to the responsible performance of the three top-order batsmen. Opener Fakhar Jaman scored 117 runs and Imam Ul Haque scored 60 runs. A good finish by Pakistani bowlers as they restricted New Zealand to 288 runs. The way Daryl Mitchell and Will Young were batting it was very much expected that New Zealand will give a target of over 300 runs. Daryl Mitchell scored century thanks to a simple catch that was dropped by Agha ji on his own bowling. Pakistan in reply are steady as both openers have scored half century in 18th over.

Pakistan is now batting and has scored 114 runs in 20 overs. Pakistan has not lost any wicket so far. However, the batsmen of the New Zealand team were very weak. Pakistan has done a great performance in bowling today. It seems that if Pakistan can bowl like this then they will win this match very easily. Pakistan team has a big chance.

NZ have scored 248 runs in 44 overs. In remaining 6 overs they will likely to cross 300 runs mark. Rawalpindi pitch is known to be extremely batting friendly with no respect for bowlers. Pakistani ballers are struggling today as they are having hard time in taking Newzealand wickets. Young just missed his century and got out by shadab Khan, Newzealand still is very much in game they have made 166 runs in 29 overs Kiwis still have 8 wickets in hand .
With this runrate they can give target of 300+ to Pakistan easily.

Now, we have only two matches left in this ACC Men's Premier Cup 2023 with Oman, Nepal and UAE already having top ranks and winner from Kuwait vs Hong Kong will be complete this top spots most chances Nepal will be at the top and Oman will at second spot in Group A and in case of Hong Kong win they will be at the top spot in Group B and UAE will be at the second spot but in case of Kuwait win we will have UAE at the top which will face Oman in the semifinal which will be good for them because they can beat them and qualify for the final spot Nepal is better team having good experience and home advantage as well which will allow them for having spot into final as well because their performance are at the top, and they can end this event without losing any match.

Hong Kong needs 67 runs to win from 6 overs, with 5 wickets remaining. It is going to be tough for them. BTW, Nepal won the match against Qatar. After they got bundled out for just 157 runs, I was thinking that there is zero chance for a Nepal win. However Sandeep Lamichhane, Sompal Kami and Lalit Rajbanshi had other plans and Qatar could only manage a total of 89. Lamichhane was unplayable and had figures of 9.1-3-14-5. They will be facing the loser of the match between Hong Kong and Kuwait. Nepal needs to win their next two matches in order to secure a spot for the 2023 Asia Cup.

I don't know what happened to Nepal. They got bowled out for just 157 runs against Qatar. Sandeep Lamichhane at no.10 top scored with 42, and he added 46 runs for the 10th wicket partnership with Lalit Rajbanshi (the latter scored just 1 run). Nepal will be able to qualify for the semi-finals even if they lose today's match, but in all probability they will be facing Hong Kong in the knockout phase. And Hong Kong is the strongest team from Group B. This is what I don't like about Nepal. They work really hard, but when it matters they lose crucial matches.
