United Arab Emirates got all out in 47 overs which means if they could have batted for three more overs then I don't think they would have scored much runs. Against West Indies if they could have batted well from the start and built a good partnership, the score would have been bigger for UAE but they failed to build any big partnership. West Indies won the first ODI of the three-match ODI series to take a 1-0 lead against the hosts. These two teams will face each other again in the second ODI match on 6th.
West Indies is an experienced team and they should win this match and the series against the UAE. I was keen to see how the United Arab Emirates play this match and to my surprise, they played well to score over 200 runs. There were some good batting performances by Ali Naseer and Vriitya Aravind which helped UAE. I am hopeful that United Arab Emirates may gain good experience from this series.
Even if they manage to win a single match in the series, it will be a good for them.
