Bangladesh vs Ireland.
Bangladesh could have secured the series win in the 2nd match. But with the match being abandoned due to rain, that chance was greatly reduced. Despite scoring a record run that day, the Tigers had to be content with sharing the result. Along with that, the expectation of winning the series has also increased a little. Rain created more opportunities but Ireland could not capitalize on them.
In the second ODI series of Bangladesh, they scored the highest run in history that day.  But unfortunately they did not win the series as the match was abandoned due to rain.  However, in the second ODI match, the batting performance of Bangladesh Tigers was very good.
Besides securing a 10-wicket winning streak today, the Tigers set a record. This is the first time in their ODI history that Bangladesh cricket team reached the goal of victory without losing any wicket. They completed Ireland's target of 102 runs without losing a wicket in 13.1 overs. Congratulations to Bangladesh cricket team, they will perform better in coming days.
The Tigers' performance in the second ODI match was excellent as they restricted Ireland to 101 for 10 in 24.1 overs. And later, both Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das left the field with victory for Bangladesh batting. It was a huge joy for Bangladesh with a huge win by 102 runs for no wicket. And it was the biggest win in the history of Bangladesh with a huge victory played in 13.1 overs. Bangladesh really performs well in every match in its own country's ground.

As expected Sanju Samson has started questioning SKY. Shashi Tharoor has been vocal about Sanju Samson not being part of the Indian 11. After the IPL If his performance is better than SKY then I think he will be of the Indian 11 in the world cup.

~~~~
Elections are due in around 12 months from now, and Shashi Tharoor knows that he can't win without the support from the Christian voters (~25% in his consistency). The reason why he remembers Samson all of a sudden is just because he needs votes from that particular section. Samson was given plenty of chances previously and now the BCCI should consider some of the other promising youngsters to replace SKY (if needed). There is no comparison between SKY and Samson. SKY is miles ahead in terms of consistency and skills.
Netherlands were firmly cruising to victory and at one point they were at 166/1 after 33 overs. At this point they needed 105 runs to win, from 17 overs (at around 6 runs per over). They had 9 wickets in hand and there for had a win probability of more than 90%. But the moment when Tom Cooper got run out, fortunes were reversed. He was the more aggressive batsmen and both Max O'Dowd and Colin Ackermann were unable to keep up with the required rate. After Cooper got out, Netherlands batsmen were scoring at the rate of around 2-runs per over and they lost the match right there.
Some defeats are never accepted. As the Netherlands lost against Zimbabwe yesterday. A one run loss is really painful.  But the result of the game could not be like this. Because the middle order to lower order batsmen were not able to sustain the game in the way that the Dutch first row batsmen were starting. Tom Cooper's run out knocked the Netherlands out of the match. But before he was out, the Netherlands had a very good score. Had the middle-order batsmen provided a bit of support after his dismissal, the match would have gone in the Netherlands' favour.
Zimbabwe came back strongly into the game when two consecutive Dutch batsmen made their way to the pavilion for golden ducks. Congratulations Zimbabwe.
If Netherlands players MaxODowd and TomCooper could have scored centuries, Zimbabwe's chances of victory here would have been slim.  Netherland's fortunes turned out to be their biggest defeat as Max failed to score a century for just 19 runs. And Netherlands bowling needs to be more experienced to attack the opposition players with fast balls. And the Netherlands suffered the biggest loss with two wickets dismissed which left their match brutally in a run deficit and two wickets up. Had the Netherlands been careful with the wickets, they would have had a chance to win. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe played to the target despite not having a wicket in hand which ensured their win.
This was an unexpected result for me. I thought the Netherlands would win. Because the performance of the top-order players was outstanding. The first 5 batsmen of the Netherlands' top order played very well. But no other batsman was able to perform well. The Netherlands lost three wickets for 197 runs. They failed to collect only 73 runs. However, the performance of Zimbabwe's bowlers in S10 overs was good. Sikandar Raza and Wessly Madhevera took 3 wickets each. I would say that the Zimbabwean team was able to win this match because of the controlled bowling of those two bowlers.
You seem optimistic about the Indian team reaching the finals lol  Grin Grin
Well, jokes apart. Yeah in such a case venue will be neutral as the Indian team won't visit Pakistan. True, it's not a perfect situation for Pakistan but at least there is something for them too and both parties can claim some sort of victory and do chest thumping. I'd like it if they opt for SL as a neutral venue.
I also feel that India and Pakistan will play the finals. I also had the same notion in the last Asia cup. The problem is that every Indian and Pakistani fan believes that these two countries will reach the finals except the players.
Whichever country becomes the host would get a good chunk of revenue. Considering the present economic condition of Srilanka I think it would be great for them to host those matches.
Finally, There is some consensus building up for the 2023 ODI Asia cup.
India is still not visiting Pakistan but from start, it was a well known fact to every party. The good news for Pakistan is that they will host the Asia cup in their own backyard and India will play their matches in a neutral venue. Maybe SL, UAE, Oman or England.
https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/2023-asia-cup-likely-in-pakistan-and-one-other-overseas-venue-for-ind-vs-pak-1365046
Muscat in Oman is likely to host matches involving India, as that city is slightly colder compared to the UAE locations during summer. And in case India progresses to the semi-finals or finals, will these matches be still played in neutral venues? Anyway, this was the most logical solution to the issue and make sure that ACC will not suffer any losses. PCB may lose out on considerable revenues in the form of gate collection and sponsorship, but even for them it is much preferable when compared to the scenario where the tournament is cancelled altogether.
PCB should start producing movies rather than governing Pakistani cricket. What a drama first by Ramiz Raza and then by Sethi! In the end they had to bow down to BCCI pressure. LOL! Grin Cheesy
Thats really big reach from Netherlands, because it looked like an easy win for Zimbabwe. In the final over scenario changed completely and scoring 17 runs in the last over is really great. The third run was missed and ended as a wicket. If not the scores could've got levelled. Anyhow this is deserving win for Zimbabwe to make the third ODI even more interesting as it decides the series winner.
I thought Netherlands deserved to win as they came from behind in the first ODI and literally snatched the win from Zimbabwe by the tail end which was a refreshing tale because it is rare now a days considering top teams like India failed to win yesterday when they were on a good position to win the match majority of the time and Netherlands which is literally unknown with players i have not heard making statements like these is great for Cricket.
Netherlands almost won the game but they left short of one run. Good match played by both teams,  Netherlands and Zimbabwe both played equally good and level the series by 1-1.
The first match was really close and i lost my bet on Zimbabwe as i never expected Netherlands to chase that after loosing 6 wickets and hence i am not confident to place a bet in this match and with the way the match was going, i was expecting Netherlands to chase the target even in this match after they scored a boundary and a six in the last over and it was a really close match but hard to predict as a punter.
Zimbabwe, despite getting funding of $12 million per year from the ICC has shown no improvement in the performance. On the other hand, the Dutch are performing exceptionally despite the fact that they receive only $300,000 per year from the ICC. With a little more funding for their development program, the Netherlands would be able to get competitive against the top sides. Two days later, there is an ICC meeting to decide on the fund allocation for the next cycle. It needs to be seen whether the allocation for teams like Netherlands get increased or not.
Netherlands is economically much more stable as compared with Zimbabwe. There government can give some funds for cricket which is not likely in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is economically in terrible state, may be that's the reason why ICC is giving more funds to Zimbabwe since the cricket board won't get anything from the government. Zimbabwe performance is getting bad to worse with every passing year and if they continue like that very soon Zimbabwe will be a history in cricket.
The condition of the Zimbabwe Cricket Board is not good. One of the poorer cricket boards is the Zimbabwe Cricket Board. And Zimbabwe's government is not keen on spending money on cricket. And so Zimbabwe is not able to find the right talented players for their squad. The performance of the team is getting weaker day by day. UAE, Nepal, Netherlands, and Ireland are increasing their capacity. On the other hand, the Zimbabwean team is falling further behind. Zimbabwe's government should give more priority to cricket. Zimbabwe's team will be stronger with adequate support from the government.
Despite the economic challenges facing Zimbabwe the International Cricket Council (ICC) distributes funds to its member countries based on various factors including performance development initiatives and governance. While the Dutch economy may be more stable and potentially more government funding for the sport, economic stability is not the only determining factor in the growth and development of cricket. Cricket is a complex game and team performance can fluctuate due to various reasons.It is important to acknowledge Zimbabwe's rich history in cricket and the many talented players they have produced. Ultimately the future of cricket in any country depends on various factors including economic stability governance talent development and on field performance. It is important to support all cricket playing countries and work for the growth and development of the game globally.
This is a big achievement for Bangladesh. Perhaps this is the first time the Bangladesh team has won by 10 wickets. Ireland mustered only 101 runs. And another important thing is that the pace bowlers of Bangladesh picked up 10 wickets in this match. ~~
It was a remarkable victory for Bangladesh. They have made their new records in this ODI series. Bangladesh scored their highest ODI total in the first and second ODI, then they won the 3rd match by 10 wickets. The condition of the pitch was helping fast bowlers, and Bangladeshi fast bowlers have done their job perfectly. The youngster Hasan Mahmud took 5 wickets today. I wouldn't be surprised if Hasan Mahmud get the opportunity to play in the upcoming world cup instead of Mustafizur Rahman.
Netherlands is showing great improvement in last matches  they have given a tough time to Zimbabwe in recent series.
Zimbabwe on other hand has done good they have come in international cricket after many years and from that aspect their performance is good.
The second ODI match between Zimbabwe and Netherlands has been exactly like the final match of this year's PSL. Four runs are required from the last ball, so it is impossible to win the match by completing 4 runs as there are no boundaries. Or it is not normal to tie the match by completing three runs. In both cases it is normal to run out and lose the match. In today's match, when 10 runs are needed from two balls, the fifth ball hit 6 and changed the turning point of the match, but the Netherlands lost the match as they did not hit a four off the last ball. In this case, while completing three runs in the run, he was run out and defeated by one run.
A dramatic win by Zimbabwe. This ODI reminds me of PSL final played few days back and in both matches 4 runs were required on very last ball and in both games only 2 runs were scored. Netherlands needed 19 runs in the last over and last batting pair was on the crease. Fred Klaassen was only able to score 2 runs on last ball. Good fielding in deep extra cover as ball was racing for 4 runs. Series is  now level and the third ODI will decide who will be the winner. Zimbabwe need to perform well, there performance is very disappointing.
This was a great performance from the Netherlands side. I know they didn't win. But I can say people expected a worse performance from the Netherlands. Especially with the amount of money Zimbabwe is getting, they were supposed to perform a lot better and actually win convincingly against the Netherlands. But the win by Zimbabwe against the Netherlands by only one run is of course not very convincing. And the Netherlands did win the first match as well.
The next match is going to be the decider. If the Netherlands can win this series, I would hope that ICC will actually give them a lot more money than they are giving them right now
