Today is the 38th match of ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 2023/24 between the United States of America and Nepal. The United States of America having good chance for this game as they are leading the table from the second number, Canada is in the first place by having 16 points, but the United States of America have 12 points while Nepal has the second last position. They have three points in this league and today I am pretty sure they will further decrease their run rate while the United States of America will gain points. Bet on the United States of America as they are ready to win.

New Zealand women's team players will try their best to win today's match. Because after winning the World Cup, the defeat against the Indian women's team was not taken well by the fans of New Zealand. The New Zealand women's team faced a lot of criticism. And that's normal. Because the New Zealand women's team performed very badly in the first match. The target was not big. Still, New Zealand lost by 59 runs.

The captain of New Zealand won the toss and decided to bat in today's match. And New Zealand batsmen are playing very carefully. Slowly New Zealand is moving towards big collection. At the end of 42 overs, New Zealand lost only 4 wickets and managed to collect 195 runs.

Even in the 3rd ODI you can't give credit to the bowlers, the two batsmen who won the match were Evan Lewis and Rutherford. If you watch the matches very well in this series of West Indies with Sri Lanka, you will see one thing, most of the wickets taken by the bowlers in this series were not of the length of the bowls, neither in front nor behind. If you calculate meter it is about 3 meter-4 meter range.

Both types of bowlers, spinners and pace bowlers, have been successful in this length. In this case, all the incoming balls were challenging for the batsmen to play. The Sri Lankan team bowled with such a plan in the rest of the matches except the last match, but in the third match they were not seen to bowl much at such a length. But the West Indies team seems not to know about this length management, I am curious to know if West Indies have a video analyst at all? Or was he on vacation? His team's batsmen were getting out at the same length and their bowlers could not bowl at this length!

I think Algeri Joseph leaves his brain open when he goes to the bowling end. His length management of the ball was very poor, he bowled most of the balls to the short ball or close to the bat. West Indies spinners were similar, they just couldn't find the right length. I think the reason for West Indies' loss against Sri Lanka is the length management of their bowlers and video analysts.

New Zealand Women's team won the toss and elected to bat today. New Zealand batsmen are batting very slowly today despite not losing wickets very quickly. Since New Zealand could not collect big in the first match. Perhaps this is the reason why the batsmen of the New Zealand women's team are batting very carefully in today's match.

Many people including me are thinking that Muhammad Rizwan will appointed as the captain because if we look on Shaheen Shah Afridi then he has not that good performance and at the same time, he is dropping from the team and after him Shadab Khan can be the captain but his performance is not like that as it should but in the recent PSL. He has performed well and also when he the captain then his team won the title Islamabad United. Secondly, in the last One day domestic event in Pkaistan, Shadab Khan performed well on that too and also leading the team who has won the title. Muhammad Rizwan and Shadab Khan are infront of eyes.

The West Indies team has won the current match by performing poorly in the past matches, they have performed well in this old match.  The most important part of this performance and victory was Kevin Lewis who scored 102 runs off 61 balls which was the most important score for this match.  The Sri Lankan team was not alert in this match due to which their runs were very low from the start.  The match later turned into a much tougher, more challenging one for the Sri Lankan team but the Sri Lankan team could not survive.  Coming to the last match, the Sri Lankan team lost the previous two matches and won the match 2-1.

New Zealand players performed very poorly in the first match against India women's team. Perhaps New Zealand lost the match by a huge margin of 59 runs. A few days ago, the New Zealand women's team became the T20 World Cup champions. So we didn't expect the New Zealand women's team to perform so badly against India in this series.

However, New Zealand women's batsmen are batting very well in today's match. However, New Zealand is batting a bit slow. But they are able to bat responsibly. Suzie Bates remained unbeaten on 53 runs. And Georgia Plimmer was dismissed for 41 runs. The two openers managed to get off to a great start. New Zealand have a big chance of winning if they can set a target of 220+.

So far so good for the New Zealand team. They haven't loss a wicket yet but their run rate is on the low side, just a little under 5 runs per over. Considering this is a ODI match, they will have plenty of time to recover the run rate if they have wicket in hands. Suzie Bates and Georgia Plimmer have made a partnership of 67 runs and still unbeaten. In the last match the openers failed, but this time they are looking in good form.
Indian Women team have tried 5 bowlers till now with their main striker Saima Thakor bowling four overs but unable to get any wicket. The more bigger this partnership becomes, it will create more problems for the India team.

Yes, I'm also hoping that New Zealand women strongly comeback in second ODI game against Indian women and level the series. in second ODI match New Zealand women won the toss and decided to bat first that a good decisions because New Zealand women not comfortable while chasing down target in last match they all out under 170 runs. New Zealand women current score is 35 runs without loss of any wickets in just 8 over of the match. its a positive start from the New Zealand women openior Georgia Plimmer and Suzie Bates. New Zealand eomen openior Georgia Plimmer is playing at 12 runs and Suzie Bates is playing at 24 runs. This partnership is very important for New Zealand women if they scored 250 plus runs competible total on board against Indian women.

IND Women vs NZ Women, 2nd ODI

India is leading the one-day series and today is the second one-day game that will start after 30 to 40 minutes, in which once again I assume that India wins this title as they won the last game with a good margin and run rate as well.

Deepti Sharma who was the player of the match based on her wonderful performance as she made valuable runs for the team and also picked a single wicket. India women won it by 59 runs but what do you think about today's game, who will take the win and far away, will New Zealand win this game ?

I am going with New Zealand and got 3.4 odds. If you choose India, the odds will be way less.

West Indies are a better team when it comes to 20 overs cricket and this went to their advantage when the match was reduced to 23 overs only. With DLS method they had to chase a little less then 200, it was not easy target but still they have the target in mind plus the weather and pitch conditions helped them achieve this target and end the series on a winning note. If i am not wrong, it was due to Evin Lewis century that WI managed to pull this match otherwise 196 wasn't a small target.

Another interesting thing i noticed was that this series started with a T20 matches and the first T20 match was won by West Indies, then they lost next two T20 matches and also lost the first two ODI matches. However they won the final ODI match, so they won the first match of the tour and the last one too 

Sri Lanka played well but weather seems to favor the West Indies who are very good at 20 over format. The West Indies played aggressively treating the 22 overs like T20 match which could give them an advantage. The important things to watch now are how the weather changes and how Sri Lanka adjusts their strategy to counter West Indies momentum. I will say that well played West Indies. That was not easy to make fast runs which they made. They made 196 runs in 22 overs which is really a good score by the way. And Congratulations to West Indies team. Now the series is end at 2-1.

Who knows that the future weather will be in this match because I saw that the openers partnership Nissanka and Fernando is 81 run from 103 they wasted their 22 bowl only I don't think it is that's much and even then these wasted bowl have you seen the second partnership? The second partnership was 57 run from only 26 bowl which is extremely good I think Sirlankan team tried their best but the weather is favor in the West Indies.
And we know how good West indies in 20 format and they played these 22overs like a t20 match today.

DLS system is dodgy and it does give a slight advantage to the team chasing because the team batting second knows exactly what sort of script they should follow and when to put their foot on acceleration.

Not to mention, every tom-dick-harry gets a scoring/wicket sheet in their pocket, most of the time even batters when they are on the crease. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

 

I can't see any disadvantage to the team who bat first in such situation. Because the team gets a good benefit for the adjusted runs in DLS method. Sri Lanka would have lost some wickets early if they tried to play aggressively from the beginning. Which would create pressure on the middle order batsmen, and they wouldn't be able to score 194 runs in 23 overs by knowing it from the start. Now West Indies have to bat in T20 style to win the match.

That match has been started again and it is reduced to 23 overs a side. This is a huge disadvantage for the team batting first because has they knew it is a 23 overs match, they would have played according to that mindset. Now Sri Lanka have only managed to score 156 runs in these overs. They have lost only 2 wickets, they would be cursing themselves that this rain interruption has brought so much disadvantage to them.

I have placed a bet on Sri Lanka today and at that time there was no rain. I think I am going to lose that bet too and this may be another reason I am sad about how the match has turned out to be after the interruption. Kusal Mendis has given some hope in the end as he made 56 in 22 balls.

One month break this tournament ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 start again. Scotland is a great team and having a good record with amazing play. USA team set total runs for 144 runs in 50 overs and lost the game. Scotland team easy win and chased total runs 145 with lose no wicket. Scotland won game by 10 wickets and 151 balls. The 37th match between Scotland and USA was played at Grand Prairie Stadium. Scotland won the toss and elected to bowling first. Andrew Umeed  very talented player for Scotland team member. The best batting performance in the Scotland team team was displayed by Andrew Umeed and he scored 98 runs and 79 balls hitting 12 fours and 2 sixs. Congratulations to Scotland team for their upcoming matches.

West Indies have managed to win just one match so far in this tour. In todays match Sri Lanka's condition is also good. Sri Lanka managed to score 81 runs by losing only 1 wicket. If the overs of the game are limited due to the rain then there may be some disaster in today's match. Because West Indies team is unpredictable in short format. If the rain continuous the match may be canceled as it is drizzling. But whatever the result, Sri Lankan team's confidence has increased in this tour. Sri Lanka will perform better in the upcoming series and the opposite situation will be created for the West Indies team. After losing several matches, there is doubt whether anyone can be satisfied with their team.

The conditions does not look good in this match as we can see the rain has resumed and the covers are back on.  We had previous matches interrupted by rain too and this is no different. I think Pallekelle has a rainy season at this point of the year and the organizers weren't clever enough to schedule the series during this time.

I had placed my bet on the Sri Lankan team and was sure that if we had the full 50 overs, Sri-Lanka would have won the match. I don't know what will happen now and my bet would be void if there is no result.

ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 series started and past games were played previous month and yesterday 37th game was played between Usa team and Scotland team. Scotland team won toss and got a chance to take first bat or bowl and they chose field first. USA team played very poor game yesterday and they did not set toughest target and they made only 144 runs in 50 overs by losing all wickets. Shadley played well only in USA team and they made 58 runs in 87 balls and hitted ten 4s. Scotland team easily chased down all runs in half inning 25 overs by losing 0 wicket. Both opener batsman chased all runs by showing brilliant effort, Charlie and Andrew made good struggle. Currie bowlers bowled out 4 wickets in 10 overs and gave 32 runs. Brandon took down 3 wickets in 9 overs and giving 20 runs. These two bowlers stopped Batsman of USA team for 144 runs and at end they chased runs and won the game. Congratulations Scotland team to win 37 th game.
