Sri Lanka A won by 93 runs against South Africa A in the 1st Unofficial ODI match at Senwes Park Stadium, South Africa. South Africa A won the toss and they opt to Bowl. Sri Lanka A openers did brilliant batting. Kamil Mishara(71) and Nuwanidu Fernando(97) showed legendary performance ever. Besides Chamindu(55) also did his half century and total they collected 298-9 runs. As a response, South Africa A started their batting and their start up was good enough. Tony de Zorzi(53) did half century and Dewald Brevis(38) did decent runs. But afterward rest of players start showing poor performance, lost their wickets with lower runs. First of all, they had given a very big total to the South Africa A team. Another thing I have to mention is that the South Africa A team had given away a lot of extras. That’s why the total looked way bigger than it should have been. The discipline was not there from them.
On the other hand, the Sri Lanka team performed really well. They did a very good job of bowling out the South African team so cheaply. Only Tony from the South African team was able to score a half-century. The other players were unable to do much. And he also did not have good support from the other end. And South Africa A team lost wickets at regular intervals. Especially the middle order of the South African team absolutely collapsed. Fernando must feel bad because of missing out on a century. But his contribution was very important for his team to win this match.

From the start of the Sri Lanka innings, they did wonderful innings. The Sri Lanka lost one wicket at the start but after that their two players Kamil Mishara and Nuwanidu Fernando reached almost through the 100 but couldn’t make it.
Nuwanidu Fernando out on the 97 score. Just missed his century by the three runs. On the other hand, his partner Kamil Mishara was far from the century, he was out on 71. When the both lost the wicket then SriLanka had not found any great player who can play similiar long innings but they still made a decent target of 298 that was not chased by the South African team.
Another thing that i noticed that in "A" teams there is no one who named as the player of the match but if there would be then it must be dedicated to Nuwanidu Fernando.
The South Africa A team middle order is not good. Their openers gave them good start, we can’t blame to them. David Bedingham has not played well but overall top order is good.
Tony de Zorzi made more than fifty and Matthew Breetzke., Yes, I know Matthew Breetzke was wasting balls but at the same time, he at least stand with Tony de Zorzi and allowed him to play more balls because he was hitting hard and Matthew Breetzke was not wanted to break that momentum. However, in the bowling the South African is also weak Andile Phehlukwayo played with good economy and picked wickets while the other bowlers were affording many runs.

I didn't watch the match but I looked at the stats of the match. So according to that Sri Lanka A team was really in good form in this match. First of all their batting was really impressive. There are three names which are looking visible in batting line. First is Nuwanidu Fernando who made 97 runs. The ICC always manages to do something shitty everytime. And this time they have done so by giving automatic qualification to Zimbabwe. Either they should do that for Zimbabwe and Namibia, or not for both of them. Here they have given automatic entry for a team that is weaker than Namibia, and asked Namibia to play the qualifiers. Yeah, we will be having 14 teams in this event and three countries are going to host this event which is another good point for the Zimbabwe and Zambia which are trying to have better things in cricket, and we will be having them good in after few years if ICC give more chances to associate members for playing more matches.South Africa is having good grounds with good domestic setup but sadly due to too much political influence they are destroying their cricket hopefully things will be back to normal, and we will be having good development into their quality like we have back in early days of their re-entry into cricket.

The weather has gone so out of favor that the field has accumulated a lot of water, so much rain has been going on that the field is somehow not fit for the game. This match is most likely to be canceled where the decision by the cricket board will be decided so far. Once again, the Pakistan A team and Bangladesh A team match has abandoned. It is the second ODI match that has drawn between them due to the heavy rain in Islamabad.

However, this A team long tour for Bangladesh’s team has finished. This tour was started before 15th August and finished today. The ODI series was won by Pakistan. There was just one ODI match played between them that was won by Pakistan.
