India will be very confident to win this series against New Zealand as well. Especially after such a good performance against Sri Lanka.

I'm not sure of the other matches, but in the last match it was the batsmen who gave good opportunity for the bowlers to have a pressure free bowling. When bowling under pressure, surely they won't be able to perform well. The upcoming match need to address the real ability, because New Zealand is in its winning form against Pakistan and Indian pitch seems to be similar to that of Pakistan pitch.

I will not disagree with you in this point that the India is a famous and a strong team in the world of cricket. But I also think that you can't underestimate by saying that one team will never gonna win against them. You shouldn't forgot that they were also a champion in ODI but you can say that their current performance wasn't good enough for beating the current india . And they are slow to fill the empty slots of their legendary players.
But it is true that if you look at the head to head matches in ODI matches India is much ahead of Sri Lanka but it doesn't mean that Sri Lanka can't win with them, I think Sri Lanka also have enough power to beat India.

What are you talking about actually? Although Sri Lanka has lost most of the matches against India since last few years, but you can't underestimate them in such way. Check the head to head stats of India and Sri Lanka. They have played 165 ODI matches against each other, where India has won 96 matches and Sri Lanka has won 57 matches. Why you think that Sri Lanka will never win a match against India?

Although the match was boring except i enjoyed the batting from the Indian Batsmen. However the main highlight of this match was Virat Kholi who scored 166 runs and was also the man of the match. After a long time i have seen Virat played such a big good innings. He score thee runs in only 110 balls.
He scored these runs with a strike rate of 150 , which is too good when you consider this was not a T20 match but a one day international
match.

In my opinion, the bad start of the year never have any impact on team and their future but right now these both former world champions in ODI and T20i facing same situations not only in cricket but in other many aspects as well which needs improvement and better strategy for fixing their problems because both have enough quality and players those can bring changes in any game but having no discipline and performance giving them shocking defeats.

Pakistan done good against New Zealand but in last game GP done good time damage and win the series for his team but for Sri Lanka we have the worst case as they lost badly and have no positive things which bring better results for them as well which is surely more terrible for them in coming days as well.

Even in the first match Sri Lanka started same as this match, but the scoring from Nissanka kept the match alive and made other players contribute. This time the same didn't work and the bowlers took advantage. It is the bowling that brought such a win for India.

But there is no excuse for them to perform so badly like this. In the first match, Sri Lanka at least tried to reach the total. And the score which they reached was actually decent and respectable. But this time things did not work out for them. They got all out for 72. That is just a shameful performance from Sri Lanka.

For India, it was a record-breaking Sunday, but for Sri Lanka, it was an embarrassing one. As a result of pressure, Sri Lanka did not play well. Against a formidable Indian bowling attack, Sri Lanka produced one of their weakest innings. I congratulate the Indian cricket team on their highest-ever win over Sri Lanka. It has been a promising start to the New Year for India.

Sirlanka didn't even try to win , they performed ok before in t20 and previous ODI but this was some horrible performance by them. Yes their victory was difficult yesterday as India gave a huge target but atleast they could have fought for their pride and respect. 73 all out was not good for a team like Sirlanka.

OMG. What a match it was! What a domination! The last Biggest win in ODIs (by runs) was 290 New Zealand vs. Ireland Aberdeen in 2008. Now it's 317 India vs. Sri Lanka Trivandrum 2023 *. Kohli And Gill Were outstanding with the bat. His unbeatable 166 will be one of his best matches, even though his high score is 183. Indian pacers just destroyed the Sri Lankan's batting lineup. Only Three batters were able to score double figures. Amazing.

Srilanka perfromance againest India is very much surprising, as they played like an associate team. One thing is good from India prespective that Kohli has gained has momentum by scoring 283 runs in three ODIs. I am not able to understand where Srilanka cricket is going, they beat Aus in Test series, won Asia cup and now this collapse.
