Yeah, A thriller game was played today USA gave the target of 275 runs to Candia. Excellent batting by Smit Patel, who made 70 runs and Aaron Jones made a fifty that helped the USA team to post a target of 276 runs. Candia could also chase the target bowled out 225 runs Shreyas Movva played 68 runs innings but unlucky to won the game for Candia. Not motivated enough to follow the second tier WC league so not sure how competitive all fixtures are in general but I like the fact that the grounds look in good condition, at least for the ongoing USA vs CAN match. Especially the outfield looks more than satisfactory and can put shame on some outfield conditions in Indian stadiums.

But again, I am comparing the standards of developed vs developing countries.

I think the United States will win this game too against Canada because the Canadian team is not batting with a good run rate and their required run rate is getting higher and more difficult, right now Req. run rate is above 8.

Last time remember again that when both teams faced each other, the United States of America won that game very easily, also that was the first victory of the United States of America in this World league as well. If Canada loses this game then their losing streak will be four. Canada have to improve their run rate right now as fast as they could otherwise it may be too late. Canada did not play well in the previous match against USA. We did not get good performance from Canada's top order batsmen in previous matches. Even then the team lost by only 14 runs. But I don't see any chance of Canada winning today's match. Canada's batting is very slow from the beginning of the innings. It is impossible to win the target of 276 runs by batting so slowly.

I am a bit confused here as to whether it was really a good effort by the India A team in the last ODI or was it that Australia A team, after winning all the matches took it for granted that they will win the last ODI too and this made them play a bit careless and hence they lose the match.

Anyhow, whatever is the case, India A team have won the match and I wish we had 5 ODI matches and then we could see if the Indian Women's team can maintain this form. Australia is far better than India in women's cricket so the Indian team will take this win as a positive note to end the series.

I am confident that the United States of America should win this match as they are in position to make 280+ runs. It is possible because all the batsmen of the USA played their part in building the innings with Smit Patel leading them by making 70 runs.
