Ireland's chances of winning this match are very low as they have already lost 8 wickets. Their fall of 8 wickets will give south africa outright win in today match. I thought maybe Ireland's Paul Stirling would get off to a good start in the opening pair today but Lungi Ngdi's dismissal in the fourth ball of the first over put the Ireland team in a tight spot. But if Ireland's next batsmen can bat defensively till the first twenty overs then they will have enough chances to chase the runs to win in the next 30 overs. At present, a target of 280 runs or less in ODIs is not a difficult task under any circumstances, especially if two or one partnerships are formed properly, then a target of 272 runs will not be a difficult target for Ireland. You don't think the Ireland team is weak at all as they have already leveled the two match T20 series especially in the first one they lost very contest and in the next match Ireland beat South Africa by ten runs.
