Yes, women's cricket is much more popular than ever. Recently their game has become popular day by day. Nowadays cricket fans and gamblers take women's cricket very seriously. But I am sure in future WIPL will be another profitable venture where BCCI can earn big money.
The BCCI is always reluctant to venture in to new fields. They started the IPL after much deliberations and if Subhash Chandra didn't came up with the idea of the ICL, then it would have taken at least another 5-6 years for the BCCI to approve their franchise T20 league. And now IPL is the largest source of revenue for the BCCI. Same with WIPL as well. ECB and SA have well established women's leagues. Even the WICB started one recently. And in each case, these leagues are bringing a lot of revenue for the respective boards. Even they can face some issues in early editions but surely after two or three years this could be great for them in cricket quality and for revenue as well because India is already major shareholder in cricket and this can bring more intention from many new sponsors which are related to women.

A really good performance by the Indian women has been seen in the ODI's so far. I really thought that England women would be able to make a comeback in the second ODI. Nevertheless, it was a good job done by India to win the series with one match left in it. I think India is not going to give too much importance to the last match. The improvement of the Indian women's team in the one-day international series has actually surprised me quite a bit. Moreover, I am of the opinion that this would be one of the best platforms for BCCI to be able to arrange a WIPL in the future. Because that is going to bring forward a lot of better players for Indian women in the T20. There is no doubt that this is going to make an impact on the quality of the Indian women's T20 squad as well.

In the last 4 overs, Hamanpreet Kaur scored 43 runs and I have no idea what got into her suddenly. Her contribution led to India scoring 333 runs and it gave India a psychological advantage. On the field every girl was amazing, two important wickets were got through run out. As always Renuka Thakur was simply amazing. India girls have already won the series and now if they can whitewash the English side would be interesting to watch.

I did not think that India would be able to give such a big target. I don't think there is any chance of defeat given such a big target. India will win today's match very easily. Harmanpreet Kaur scored 143 runs off 111 balls. He was undefeated. With the help of his extraordinary innings, India was able to set a huge target of 333 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur is just butchering the England bowlers and so far it is like a one woman show from her. India ends up at 333/5 after 50 overs, with Harmanpreet making 143. In the last 5 overs, England bowlers conceded a total of 80 runs. A win here would be massive for India, as they have already won the first ODI. This will be their first ever series victory in England, and will give a huge boost ahead of the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
Watched the last 10 overs and loved every moment. The last 5 overs were too much. Harmanpreet was on a rampage and also English bowlers bowled really bad against her. Tons of wides during that period, clearly debutants were feeling the pressure against Harman. This would be a record chase for England if they manage to cross the line.
Right now, required rate is over 7.3 with requirement is 208 in 28 overs with six wickets in hand things are interesting, but I am feeling good for these women's from India to make us proud tonight.

The second ODI between India VS England (women) will be played today. India has already taken a lead in this series and if they win today's match then they will win the series. I am an optimist about the performance of the Indian side but they cannot take the English side lightly. They have a couple of good batters who can change the game. Toss would again play a major role.
What I have noticed in this series is that the team batting first is losing. We saw the same thing in the T20 series. And in the first ODI match as well, India won the match easily by batting at a target of 228 runs given by England. In today's match too, I will say that the team that wins the toss and decides to field will win. But I hope to enjoy a competitive match.

The Indian women's team are on a roll right now as they have got great momentum and I am hoping that they might win the next game against England. Generally, I think that the Indian women's team is quite good at ODI’s compared to T20. and as they have won the last game against England they will have no pressure at least less pressure than England in the following game. I am expecting really of the cricket and may the best team win.
