Arshdeep is a bad bowler and needs to be replaced in all formats while Umran is a decent bowler with a lot of potential who has sparks of Bumrah in him. Sundar is an amazing all-rounder in the ODI and T-20 formats.

India needs more bowlers like Bumrah and Sundar in my opinion. New Zealand outplayed them in the first match, but I still think that the series will end in an Indian win or draw.
Indian cricket is happy to find an effective left-arm seamer (Arshdeep) and you are talking about replacing him  Shocked

He bowls tough overs in the T-20 (Death overs), he does his job beautifully and I guess he proved himself in the T-20. I believe for India he's an excellent find and could go long in LOIs. It was his 1st ODI so he'll learn for sure.

Both Arshdeep and Umran went for a few runs, although the latter picked up two wickets to his name. Among the Indian bowlers, only Washington Sundar had an economy rate under 6 runs per over. Indian bowlers were doing pretty well till 35th over or so. Latham and Williamson were scoring very slowly and it looked as if they may end up 30-40 runs short. But then Shardul conceded 25 runs from a single over and New Zealand got upper hand after that. Inexperience of the Indian bowlers made things even worse.

India again lost his first ODI against New Zealand, no doubt India play really amazing and give a big target for new Zealand to chase, but the way new Zealand play it's phenomenal, after first wicket of f.allen in early overs I taught that India will take a strong grip on new Zealand but the partnership of Williamson and Latham takeaway the match from India hands, Latham play an unbelievable inning by scoring 145 and Williamson score 94 and that's the main point of India loss
This was an unexpected win for New Zealand and i was not expecting that they could chase 306 runs too easily. Do we have to say that New Zealand's batting was outclassed in this match or do Indian again have difficulties with their bowling and are unable to defend a big total  Huh
Umran Malik took 2 wickets but there was no Indian bowler whom we can say tried to contain the New Zealand batsmen. Also not to forget that Tom Latham scored 145 runs in only 104 balls and this is a very good strike rate in a one-day international match. He must be disappointed not to make 150 runs and make history.
Same for me really, Indian bowling was really below par, it felt as if the bowlers of Indian team have become too much familiar to bowling in T20. They were not really focusing on building the pressure and then taking up wickets they were focusing more on individual deliveries which new zealand played very intelligently so technically the strategy played by them was altogether wrong. I think  they will get better after a couple of games.
Indian bowling has lost manpower. We don't see any good performances from Indian bowlers in T20 World Cup. However, they were quite effective against New Zealand in the last T20 matches. But in today's match again we saw their bad bowling. Indian management should now focus more on their bowlers. Otherwise, their performance will be worse in the next matches.
There needs to be improvement and consistency with the Indian bowlers. New Zealand lost consecutive wickets, after which they made strong comeback. With a score of 306 and unable to win the match shows the poor bowling. Its time for Indian team to make clear analysis and choose the best as more series are to follow.

Every bowler in the Indian team except Washington Sundar gave a lot of runs today. Indian bowlers should have performed more carefully. The batsmen played well enough. It's a shame to lose even with more than 300 targets. I would say India should give new bowlers a chance now. Because the performance of most of the bowlers in the squad has deteriorated.
I agree with you. India played a lot of bad games.  I initially thought that India would win this match very easily but later I saw that India lost this match.  I think India's words are responsible for this poison. Because of them, India lost this match. No one imagined that India would lose the match after scoring so many runs. If India had bowled well, India would have won the match.

Well, the Indian team had 2 debutant bowlers (Arshdeep and Umran). 1 dibbly dobbly bowler Lord Thakur and alleged Part timer Sundar who is still learning the Art of off spin. The only established bowler was Chahal but he didn't pick any wickets in the middle overs, which is his strength.

IMO this series is testing ground for new bowlers and batters so i don't mind even if they get whitewashed in this series as far as they learn something.

New Zealand won the first match against India in ODI series. But here the Indian cricketers are lagging behind. India scored 306 losing 7 wickets but New Zealand lost 3 wickets and got a great win by playing 47 overs. Here it can be said that the major failure of the Indian bowling action. All among the bowlers Washington Sundar is the only one who has given the least runs compared to others. He gave 42 runs in 10 overs. On the other hand Arshdeep Singh bowled just 8.1 overs and gave away 68 runs. Indian bowlers have to do well otherwise there is a high chance of losing the rest of the matches.

Anyway, India did cross the 300 mark but i think they are still 20-ish runs short here. Won't be easy to defend this total, considering bowling is inexperienced and new. Credit to Kiwis bowlers, they didn't allow Indian batters to free their arms (except Sundar's cameo) despite having wickets in the bank. Their fielding was amazing throughout the first inning, they at least saved 15-20 runs.
You were right, but India needed at least 30 to 40 more runs to win the match. Although they have batted quite well, but we shouldn't expect a big score from the young inexperienced team. As an experienced player, Shikhar Dhawan contributed well with his batting. The debut performance (in ODI) of Arshdeep Singh wasn't good at all. Indian bowlers had created pressure on New Zealand by taking the first 3 wickets, but the partnership of Williamson & Latham was unbeatable.

Afghanistan both site were outstanding today match against Sri Lanka. Afghanistan batters done their job 1st innings and bowlers did 2nd innings. It was very good match for Afghanistan. Afghanistan won by 60 runs. It is big win against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka didn’t do their job as well they were underdressed in that match. Hopefully, they will be come back in very next match cz they have the good team as well.
Really good performance came from the batters and bowlers of Afghanistan. Lost their first wicket at 84 runs and the second wicket at 202 runs. This partnership helped the team make a good target. Zardan made a century and just incredible. To the efforts made by the batsmen, the bowlers gave good support taking wickets. Particularly Farooqi and Naib had a good wicket taking match. From Sri Lanka Nissanka and Hasaranga contributed good.

You are right. Afghanistan's batsmen and bowlers both performed very well. Afghanistan managed to set a big target of 295 due to the excellent performance of the top-order batsmen. On the other hand, Sri Lanka batsmen's performance was very poor. Opener Pathum Nissanka scored 85 runs and Hasaranga de Silva scored 66 runs off 46 balls. Besides, no other batsman in the team can perform well. The pitch was not bowling-friendly. Runs were being collected easily. Even then the Sri Lankan players could not survive at the crease. Fazalhaq Farooqi and Gulabdin Naib bowled brilliantly. Both these bowlers took 7 wickets.

Class batting by Latham & Williamson today! They both remained till the end and destroyed India's bowling. Except Usman Malik every other bowler was a failure today especially Arshdeep Sing. Rishab Panth form has been in question lately and I think after the series he should take a break. Newzealand have taken a lead in this series and now it all depends on Shikhar Dhawan and his team to work go back and work on those areas where they were not good.
The performance of New Zealand's batsmen in the T20 series was very poor. It was unimaginable that they would make such a grand comeback in the ODI series. Batting against a huge target of 307, New Zealand won quite easily today. We don't see good performances from openers Finn Allen and Conway. But Williamson and Latham's performance was excellent. Tom Latham was unbeaten on 145 off 104 balls. New Zealand won because of such amazing batting. If the batsmen continue this performance, they can defeat India in the upcoming matches as well.

Credit has to be given to Kane Williamson and Tom Latham. It is actually a little sad that Kane Williamson did not get his century and tom Latham did not get his 150. But they did very well for New Zealand and they stayed there to make sure that New Zealand win the match. I thought India had a good enough total on the board. But the bowling of India was bad. None of them had a decent performance in this match. Only Washington Sundar was good, but even though he was economical, he did not get any wickets.

Afghanistan V Sri Lanka

I am enjoying Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka match now. Afghanistan managed to set a target of 295 runs. Every batsman in the top order performed well. Ibrahim Zadran scored 106 runs. Also, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah managed to collect more than 50. A target of 295 runs in 50 overs seems to be a big enough target. Afghanistan is more likely to win.

At the end of 14 overs, Sri Lanka collected 90 runs. Their run rate is quite good. But they lost three valuable wickets. Opener Pathum Nissanka remains unbeaten with 45 off 39 balls. He is playing very well.
It looks like the match have come into the hands of Afghanistan. Losing two more wickets will make it an easy win for Afghanistan. Even at the loss of wickets, Sri Lanka keeps the runrate undisturbed. This ease out the pressure of the upcoming batsmen. As expected the match is very enjoyable. With 4 wickets loss, Sri Lanka doesn't have much batting order to follow. Possibly Sri Lanka will end the innings within 200 runs.
I think so it's still not because SiriLanka has need  165 runs in remaining 27 overs and his opening batter nissanaka is set himself at pitch by scoring 70* runs , so I think if he keep wicket in hand and take runs slowly they can easily chase this target, but credit goes to Afghanistan batter who score huges runs and bulid this big target. Now it's depend on bowling if they dismiss the SiriLanka opening batter they it may affect match, but still I believe that SiriLanka can do it
It's looks Sri Lanka really was in underpressure of Afghanistan.  They have already lost their five wickets before half way through the match, although their opener Pathum Nissanka is trying hard to swing the match in their favor I don't think it will be possible as they are getting completely caught by the Afghanis today. Today Sri Lanka's batting and bowling both sides showed a lot of weakness.
Afghanistan is not only doing well in T20 cricket. They have now brought perfection in ODI as well. Afghanistan won by 60 runs against Sri Lanka today. Afghanistan has been very good at batting. Ibrahim Zadran has managed to score a century. Gurbaz managed to score 53 runs Rahmat 52 and Najibullah 46 runs. With their batting storm, Afghanistan managed to score 294 runs for 8 wickets. On the contrary, Sri Lanka lost the match by 238 runs and lost all wickets. Afghanistan cricket has promising batsmen who are capable of taking their cricket to greater heights.

The match between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka was fairly good. Both teams played good cricket. But the rule is that one team will lose and one team will win. Afghanistan won by 60 runs. Afghanistan batsmen have shown great skill. Besides, the Afghan bowlers were able to pick up the wickets of the Sri Lankan batsmen in no time and ensured the victory.
