The first match of the two-match T20 series against Ireland is going to be held today. India won the toss and elected to bowl. But the match is being delayed due to rain. India should have batted first against Ireland and delivered huge targets. Ireland is not a very strong team. India should win the series by dominating. Maybe this match will be one-sided.

Anyone here following Ranji Trophy. History creted today as Madhya Pradesh for the first time won the Ranji trophy by defeating Maharashtra. Madhya Pradesh team was bein coached by Chandrakant Pandit who was a former wicketkeeper of team India. He was also the captain of Madhya Pradesh Ranji team in 1999, when they lost the finals and after 23 years won the Ranjhi trophy as a coach.
Followed the updates, but didn't got enough spare time to watch it live. This time, it was a low key affair, with none of the national players participating in the finals. Only exceptions were Prithvi Shaw (Mumbai captain) and Dhawal Kulkarni (who last played for India in 2016). The Madhya Pradesh players were all unknown to me, apart from Rajat Patidar and Kumar Kartikeya. But they have a very young squad, and I am sure that at least a few of the players will get a chance to represent the national team in the future.

.LOL.. seriously. According to my calculations, the odds of Afghanistan winning the world cup is much better than that from Bangladesh. The Bongs have constantly underperformed since they got the test status in 1999. The only quality player they have produced over all these years is Shakib al Hasan, and he is in and out of the team due to issues with the cricket board. After the first ODI where Australia defeated Sri Lanka in the rain affected match even if the score was challenging i expected the series to be one sided but Sri Lanka really surprised me from the second ODI onwards, defending a really low total and then chasing a challenging total in the third ODI and yet again defending a modest total in the 4th ODI and winning the series and i lost a lot of money in this series underestimating Sri Lanka Anyway they won the series, they needed it badly and finally it's good to see that spectators gave a standing ovation to Australian team for visiting them, such a nice gesture.

It was indeed a poor performance from Australia. But they have some positives to take away from this series. The emergence of Matthew Kuhnemann resolves a lot of their issues with spin bowling. David Warner performed well in this series, also he didn't got much support from Aaron Finch and other top order batsmen. In addition to Kuhnemann, a few other younger guys performed credibly, including Cameron Green and Marnus Labuschagne. Anyway, given the pitch conditions, it wasn't that bad from the Australians.
Yes, through this series few of the young players have made good performance. Other than the first ODI Warner have contributed good in the entire series. Maxwell didn't perform as expected, and in my opinion Labuschagne and Carey played well in the lower order. The partnership developed by these players helped in few matches. This is a practice for majority of the young players in an Asian ground.Now, just because of them we have many other teams are also trying things like these and bringing too many players in their squads for different formats which is amazing change and this could be more competitive in near future because more professional players will be available for all formats for every team.
Bangladesh right now is at no 7 in ICC ODI Mens ranking. They have got lot of ODIs since they got permanent status of Test team. Having said that Bangladesh performance in all three formats is awful. Even Afghanistan and Ireland have improved quite alot in short amount of time. ICC really need to think about giving test status to Afghanistan in place of Bangladesh.
Even Bangladesh is not improving in all formats and having awful results which are bringing some serious talk about their status and quality but still not good idea to replace Afghanistan in place of Bangladesh because they are also not going to have any better results with no home matches available for them which are not going to happen for nearly 15 to 20 years so with this all Bangladesh is better choice, but they need to have better quality for staying in good position and for shut up call which is looking hard with their domestic system is never been ideal, and it's not bringing some good changes in their image.They need to do some hard decisions if they want to bring better quality and improving results, otherwise they could be down and out like Zimbabwe.

Given the recent form of Sri Lanka, they should be happy with whatever they got from the series against Australia. Personally I wasn't expecting them to win even a single match, but they managed to win 3 out of the 5 ODIs and 1 out of the 3 T20Is. And for Australia, it is time for introspection. They need to look in to the reasons why they lost to such a low ranked team. The test series is coming up, and I don't think that the Aussies can afford to lose any of the matches. Fortunately the ODI series was not part of the WC Super League.

After having win in last ODI with series as well they were relaxed and not done any special performance for this match, so all out cheaply with just 160 runs on board which is surely not good enough target for visitors. But they also lost few early wickets and reach on target with lost of four wickets after winning T-20 series they lost ODI series which is surely good performance from home team in difficult conditions but still win is win.But Australia did win the match but I think they are not going to be happy as their lost against Sri Lanka in the series. Now they are going to for preparing as they are going to face Australia and Pakistan in next few weeks for four test matches which are also very important but in this format they are having serious issues and playing against top teams are giving them big setbacks they need to do some effort for having positive results from this format as well.
