I think so too because the current batting situation of South Africa shows that they are under a lot of pressure, they have scored only 19 runs in the last 5 overs and lost three wickets and the run rate is only 3.80 which is very low.

And currently after 24 overs they took only 105 runs and they lost their fifth wicket. Require run rate is touching 8 So the match is being more difficult for South African team. I am actually surprised by their performance because in the first match of this ODI series, as they did bad in the batting line-up, today they have done the opposite in the bowling line-up. I thought South African team can recover in this match but no they are going to lose this match too.

The South African captain and opener was dismissed for 38 off 47 balls. He has batted well enough. Although he batted at only 80 strike rate. But since the target is more than 300, Temba Bavuma should have batted at 100+ strike rate.

At the end of 16 overs, South Africa managed to collect 82 runs. South Africa's batsmen are averaging 5.12 runs per over, but they need to average 6.76 per over to win. So if the batsmen of South Africa are batting slowly then it will be more difficult for them to collect 312 runs in this match.

I think South Africa will lose today's match as well. Afghanistan's bowlers are now very experienced. In the very first match against the Afghani bowlers, we saw very poor batting from the South African players. I don't think South Africa will be able to score a massive 312 runs against the Afghani bowlers in today's match.

You are 100% correct here in your analysis that Afghanistan is not a noob team anymore, now they have a different level in the game of cricket. Their prime team is here. They beat all the big teams and also looked stronger in every single game no matter what the opponent is, whether it is South Africa, Australia, or England they could beat anyone of them on their day.

From the World Cup 2023, their team started to rise and then never looked back. What bad luck for the England player B. Duckett, who scored 95 runs off 91 balls before being dismissed by the Australian bowler. He scored a lot for the England team and was close to completing his century, needing only 5 more runs, but luck was not on his side, and he was out for 95 runs. He was the highest scorer in the England team for this match. England scored well in this match, and if they had been up against any other team, they would definitely have lost. However, they were competing with the Australian team, and even if they scored 400 runs, the Australian team would likely chase that target successfully, as they are currently the most formidable team.

No doubt they change the pitch as last game was not as par requirement of the media, so now things are looking much better and Afghans are surely doing some sensible changes into their approach which is good sign for them and their future because now they are going to replace Pakistan for having unpredictable results and surprises in this game while Pakistan is almost down-and-out due to their domestic issues.

After 23 overs, we are having 119 for 1 and Adam Markram able to break the solid opening partnership but now Rahmanullah Gurbaz having good partnership with Rahmat Shah we can expect 300+ which could be good score and Proteas can feel pressure specially after losing first game badly due to their inexperience batting against strong and quality Afghan bowling.

Afghans must be batting sensibly or maybe taking full advantage of inexperienced Protea's bowling lineup but Ngidi is there so this shouldn't look that easy for the Afghans.
