I think India is a favorite to win the second ODI match of the series because they have a well-suited batting and bowling line. in the first ODI India losses the winning match because of poor short selection when just single runs needed and two wickets in hands and set batsman is on cearse. Today match pitch is also bowling friendly and its challenging for any team to score a huge total on this Colombo ground. If Sri Lanka wins the toss they definitely will go to bat first and score a decent total for India and in second batting it's very difficult on a bowling friendly track. If India wins the toss, they will surely bat first and try to set a huge total for Srilanka to lead this series by 1-0.

If India could have finally batted patiently in the first match then India would have definitely won as they needed 1 run to win but they ended up losing all out. As Sri Lanka were defeated 3-0 in the T20 series, many thought that Sri Lanka would be defeated in the ODI series as well. But Sri Lanka turned around with a brilliant performance in the first match of the ODI series. Anyway, today's match is expected to be competitive as Sri Lanka will be playing at their home ground. The first match of the three match ODI series was a draw so the second match is very important for both the teams. If India wins one of these two matches and Sri Lanka wins the second match then this series will be a draw and it will definitely be a big achievement for Sri Lanka. In the first ODI we saw India's obvious batting weakness and where they needed one run they failed to score and the match was drawn.

The Indian bowlers are still fully trusted so the batsmen must take the second ODI match with responsibility. If team India have trouble batting in the second innings then they will have to win the toss and bat first and if they can score 300 plus runs in the first innings then they will have a great chance of winning against Sri Lanka. I don't think India will repeat the same mistake as in the first match. Sri Lanka Descent provided a target in the first match. But the Indian opening pair got off to a great start. India's collection from the opening pair was 75 runs. Even then the Indian team failed to win this match. Indian team lost all wickets for 230 runs mainly due to batsmen's irregular batting.

Today's match is also going to be held in Colombo. And naturally we know that the team batting in the first innings has a slight advantage on this pitch. A major factor in not winning the match was the incompetence of the batsmen. Kuldeep Yadav scored only 2 runs off 10 balls and this is where the biggest loss of the match took place. Hope India get a very easy win in 2nd ODI.

I actually hope that the next match is going to be very competitive. I do not want to see one-sided matches. Because those are not entertaining to me. I like to see competitive matches just like the first match. Even though I do want to see competitive matches, I honestly think that the next match is not going to be that competitive. Because India is going to be ready for a big win in the next match. It is already a shame for India to not be able to win against Sri Lanka when the target was so low. In the next match, they are going to go all-out attack on Sri Lanka and will try to win the match as convincingly as possible.

And if I remember correctly wasting balls was not that big of a problem for India. The biggest problem was not being able to keep wickets in hand.

Yeh to be honest still dube and axar are not fully filled Ravinder jadeja place and importance so I think gambir are much more experience coach so I believe he will sort it out shortly, but the things is who will be replaced in order to make things right, anyway they played worts they give a little bit room to Siri Lankan batter in order to settle down and build partnership especially after they lose 5 wicket under huge pressure, if Indian bowling continue executing pressure on them and restrict them for vital partnership then things will be easily in favor of India. Tomorrow they have another clash against Siri Lankan and I am damn sure they will learn from his previous match mistake and will try to avoid them in future. It's true that dube hasn't much experience so he was under huge pressure soon he will learn to Handel pressure in such critical moments

Sri Lankan team played very well in this match and match was ended with no result and both teams got equal points. Sri Lankan team showed that they are good team because after losing the T20 series they learned many lessons and thr result of that is in front of us. No doubt Indian cricket team is top class team of the World and no body expect that kind of match but the result is different and we saw different result and now there are chances for the equation of series because only two matches are remaining and Sri Lankan team have to win only 1 match to draw this series.Indian team will try his best to win this series. The same thing happened against Zimbabwe when Indian team lose the match against Zimbabwe and after that Indian team won the next 4 matches by high margin.

I think Shivam Dube has the good role in the team, he made fewer runs but important and crucial runs, that was the last stages of the game and he came to play in the end that is why he has to play well and he played to perfection.

Hitting boundaries and cover drive to calm down himself and out from the pressure but the another try for the hunger of runs were expensive when he tried to play the ball down then he got the LBW OUT and then the INDIAN team had all out. Also, Kuldeep Yadav was also a good option for them but he also didn't play well because from somewhere he could bat well but not last night.

India was hot favourite for this game as odd were standing on @1.24 with now in last 10 games which play between these two countries in ODI format we have 8 wins for the India and 1 for Sri Lanka with we have two huge defeats where margin of win for India were over 300+ in last few years we are having huge decline in Sri Lankan quality because they fail to bring suitable replacements of players just because of this now things are already gone on wrong side.

There are still plenty of youngsters those can perform good and bring back their good days back but this all needed good strategy in this game while India were chasing 230 runs we have good batting in early overs but later batsmen were overconfidence which bring them down specially while they were near to win this game we have poor strategy from the Axar Patel and Shivam Dube because these were doing good, and they needed to stand till end, but now they will surely learn from these mistakes.

The target for India was 231 runs so naturally I thought that India would reach this target very easily but the result of the match was not like that. If India could have scored just one more run they would have won but India's wicket fell after 230 runs and that wicket was India's last wicket and that's where India failed to win the match. Earlier we used to hear very little about match draw in cricket but recently we see that the equation of match draw in cricket has increased a lot.

In other matches we see that if the match is drawn then the result is decided by Super Over but that was not the case in the first ODI match between India and Sri Lanka. In other words, India lost a wicket after 230 runs and the match remained tied there. Both the teams will have chances in the second ODI match but above all the results will go in favor of whoever performs better in batting and bowling.

I think Shivam Dube has the good role in the team, he made fewer runs but important and crucial runs, that was the last stages of the game and he came to play in the end that is why he has to play well and he played to perfection.

Hitting boundaries and cover drive to calm down himself and out from the pressure but the another try for the hunger of runs were expensive when he tried to play the ball down then he got the LBW OUT and then the INDIAN team had all out. Also, Kuldeep Yadav was also a good option for them but he also didn't play well because from somewhere he could bat well but not last night.

India and Sri Lanka both scored the same number of runs and played very well match but the match ended in a tie despite both teams being strong. However, India is my favorite team because they play very well and have played many good matches in the past but this time i also expected this match was also won by india team. India and Sri Lanka total runs for 230. The 1st match between Sri Lanka and India was held at R Premadas stadium. Sri Lanka won the toss and batting first. The best batting performance in the India man team was displayed by Rohit Sharma, he scored 58 runs and 47 balls hitting 7 fours and 3 sixs. Other best batting performance in Sri Lanka man team was showed by dunith wellalage scored 67 runs and 65 balls hitting 7 fours and 2 sixs. Congratulations to both teams for the their upcoming matches.They are strong team and will continue to play like this in future. Their performance was exceptionally showing their skill and talent on the field.
