Owning ANC means there is a financial incentive to make the coin succeed and become valuable. If the developer(s) owns peanuts (and refuses to buy at these low prices), it indicates a complete lack of faith in not only the zerocoin implementation being released in september, but the future of ANC as a whole.

The more invested, the more reason they have to work on improving the coin.

The less invested, the less reason to give a shit.

ANC isnt made for the devs, so why should we have tons of ANC?

I'm not concerned,  and that top wallets are not so big if you look other coins..
What someone mentioned one or two times on forum,
problem is that ANC devs don't have much ANC

Explorers, Distribution and Big Whale Wallets should not be one of the Concerns of ANC fans.

We will never know for sure who the wallet belongs to nor will we ever know the correct Distribution

I think few of them know why they are hodl ANC,
rest of us can speculate and think too much , and at the end sold under the price like many other examples with cryptocoins.

So true.  It's far better to progress slowly but successfully, than to rush it and ruin an otherwise world-changing coin.

I don't think Anoncoin will move much until ZC is implemented.
People were excited months ago, but since all that took so long ... they lose faith.

It's just like with many other coins ... slowly but surely people want to see significant improvement in a Coins development. Most of the people however don't know reality very well and that delays are normal, such as problems in development.

Short description: Publication of an article about bitcoin-related privacy/anonymity solutions on a cryptocurrency or internet-privacy web site.

Amount: 250 ANC for the first article. The amount paid for any subsequent articles will be determined based on the reserves of the anoncoin donation address after accounting for all other open bounties. This bounty may be closed at any time following payout of the first article.

Details

The objective of this bounty is to have an article written and published that describes the available privacy/anonymity solutions that are currently available to crytpocurrencies. The article is to provide a simple analysis of the pros and cons of each method that should be understandable to an informed individual who is not a cryptocurrency expert.

This article must discuss the following topics: Stealth Addresses, Darksend (including the use of "Master nodes"), CoinJoin, Dark Wallet, CryptoNote based Ring Signatures, Zerocoin, and Zerocash. For Zerocoin and Zerocash, the distinction between setting up the initial parameters in a trustless manner using RSA UFOs vs. using trusted third parties must be made.

It is anticipated that at least one paragraph will be required to discuss each topic, and that several others will be required for a comparative analysis of the pros and cons that weigh the level of anonymity of each solution. The length of the article should thus be about 10 paragraphs.

Payment will made after the article is published on an internet website that specializes in either cryptocurrencies or internet privacy.

We already have name, very good team,
and the best solution of privacy what was first build to be in BTC, it was not best timing for BTC to have ZC on its back..

The wiki is really awesome : ) I just noticed it several days ago.

  I'd like to read about PoSA on it sometime too... I'm still not sure how much anonymity this is bringing with and if ANC has to be worried of Cloak in general.

We need China, and also they must think of ANC opportunity.
Besides that ANC can buy cheap now, and profit 10000+%,
they can use ANC like crypto anon storage.. and also buys/payments on more and more sites.
