Yeah, please give us a comparison Darkcoin vs. Anoncoin security and level of anonymity.

So can somebody tell me about this "Zerocoin" Will this innovative thingy make Anoncoin
Fully Anonymous (how anonymous will that be) and will it be superior to Darkcoin/Darknet?

Not to worry. Coins in existence will not be affected in any negative manner. They will only get better  

Hard fork? What happens to the Anoncoins in existance? Can they be used after the fork as well? What if I have them on Cryptsy or similar? Anything else you can tell us about the fork?

Zerocoin implementation will be used within the testnet. This testing will reveal critical issues/bugs before, if any, before it is applied to the production chain.

Everyone that run a Anoncoin pool, service or whatever that requires a connection to the ANC network plese join this mailinglist for announces about new versions good time in front before alert messges get posted. This is important because pool owners must try to upgrade at the sme time on our hardfork to Zerocoin. No spam, no mails other the release announcements.

I've updated the expire date on my old key to two month, and I will revoke it
in a month from now on.

anoncoin looks like a coin that could perform as bc but not many info on this coin, it's a pity

I'm not worried about that.  Sure it will be resolved soon.

In a way it almost gives Anoncoin a more serious atmosphere.I don't get the feeling reading this thread that it's a pump and dump. I think that's an important distinction between this thread and that of most other alts. In the long run it should help, even if it doesn't bring a lot of attention in the short run.

I think Anoncoin has the potential to build on what Darkcoin has accomplished and be one of the only innovative coins on the market.

I totally agree that they should be more active. That would increased the community significantly and also the anticipation of the zerocoin implementation. The altcoin section is a jungle and there don't seem to be much awareness of anoncoin. It is much harder to find a thread that is only bumped a few times every week, and even if you go trough it, this thread lacks the entusiasm and promise of great riches most threads delivers. Just look at the darkcoin thread which is the exact opposite.

But I love the irony.

We all know the same..  as things stand, if they fail with Zero, Anon is down. That is my opinion.
I do not see other opportunity in the near future.
