If you're using only the wallets api for getbalance "account" no wonder your exchange is so fucked.  This is messed up in lots of coins, especially POS coins because staking transfers the balances to new addresses.  You run an exchange and don't know this?

How does every other exchange not have a problem with this?  You are clearly showing your incompetence here.

So have CR frozen all withdrawals i'm trying to get my BTC out of there & getting 'Failed to send to specified account'

Or just a me problem  Huh

They are ignoring the BTC withdrawal issues. I have personally tried >50 times in the past 12 hours but it never went through.
CR claims it is working fine and we should keep retrying?

I lost 300BC at CR if its true but my bigger concern is that I haven't been able to withdraw any of my BTC balance from CR in the last 24 hours. Makes me worried that they're refusing to pay out BTC in order to cover their asses. Anyone been able to withdraw BTC from Cryptorush?

I am glad i have not much there, tried to withdraw BTC some times yesterday, always fails and says try again later.

The blackcoin developer should fixed the bug and help finding missing coins. Fuking BC dev should care community!!!!!!!!!!!!!111

If it is BCs dev fault, why none of the other exchanges are affected?
This turns out to be same thing as MTGox, another bug, but only with impact if your implementation in an exchange is very unusual, not to say faulty.

Basically, if they trusted the wallet, which is something everyone does when they use a wallet.  To what degree... well that depends on the implementation.
The timing of the events tends to make a difference as well.

What the fuck is wrong with you ignorant pieces of shit?
He has already established that it was a bug in the blackcoin protocol.
This man is out a lot of capital because of it and your only thought is to blame him?
Hes obviously going to have to repay those customers.

I haven't read everything about the matter but perhaps it's because they shouldn't have trusted only one source of information to figure out the balances (i.e. ask the daemon) when people's monies are at stake. Imo they should've at minimum double checked by calculating the balances deposits-withdraws+buys-sells or something similar. And when the checks fail halt the whole site immediately.

Cmon folks, its not their fault they want to make a fortune out of their crappy exchange ur willing to play with =]
When you call their exchange crappy you really need something better to compare it to than cryptsy or poloniex.
Both of which have been hacked in the past as well....

It fucking happens.

How about instead of adding every single SHIT coin that is out there they could focus on those that actually have a community backing it??? Spend more time securing those instead?

*armchair commander mode activated*

yes yes, just "make it better"

or "make it more secure"

Those are the kinds of instructions you get from the best bosses in the world.

Only listing coins with "a community backing it" does not prevent you from getting hacked or stolen from.
All the "community backing" in the world doesn't stop bugs in the code.
God... what a useless post.

Maybe you should read the whole thing, if the so called "devs" at Cryptorush knew what they were doing they wouldnt have built the system as it is. Read my whole post... You said yourself and I quote

/.../
Contrary to what you probably think you know about web development, this is complicated shit, and hardening every single protocol against every single bug or problem is complicated as fuck not to mention nearly impossible. Every single coin that is listed on exchanges is beta quality at best. Bugs are to be expected at this point in development.
/.../

and I said

How about focusing on just a few coins and making sure things like this dont happen? Get your head out of your ass and stop defending scammers.

Did you guys read the whole conversation here?

http://pastebin.com/CiqGSfXD

The cryptorush insults and extorts bc dev. He must be in panic because he lost so much, but saying all that? really? His exchange is ruined and he will have to pay the debt!
