Not a bad idea.

I suggest you look at all the exchange spreadsheets, they have lists of scammers / good guys too.

this one for example, has a decent list.

Thanks, added the link to the trusted users and scammer list. Since the list isn't very detailed, I put it separate.

Also added you to trusted trader.

Sorry, but I will not be able to update this any longer. Please use https://www.bitquick.co to buy bitcoin or sell bitcoin safely. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.2305958

Alright, due to the HIGH number of scammers, there needs to be a somewhat centralized resource/organization against scammers.

I will update this list frequently. If you have a rule you think I should add, or a trusted escrow service, or a known scammer, please post it.

Rules to safe trading:
1. Never send first to Jr. Members. You WILL get scammed.
2. Never send first to members with accounts under 2 months old. They have NO reputation to lose.
3. Search their username on the forum. If they are a scammer, you'll probably hear about it.
4. If someone is on the trusted list, but doesn't meet the above 3 criteria consider escrow!

Escrow Services: (If you want to be added to this list, post your qualifications)
1. Me, champbronc2. (1% fee) All Windows GUI coins except BTC (takes too long)

Alrighty, I hope this prevents some noobs from getting raped. If a mod can sticky this, I think it'd really help a LOT of people.

Message to mods: please don't move this thread to scammer accusations, it's much more than just scam accusations. Plus nobody reads that shit.
